LoG Scale-Space를 이용한 라인의 중심축 검출 (Medial Axis Detection of Stripes Using LoG Scale-Space)

  • 본 논문에서는 LoG scale-space를 이용한 그레이스케일 영상에서 연속패턴 라인 중심축 검출 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 LoG의 스케일 크기를 적응적으로 가변하여 라인 중심축을 검출하는 방법이다. 작은 스케일의 LoG 연산자는 라인의 에지점에서 영교차 특성이 나타나며, 영교차점을 중심으로 좌우에 +/- 극성을 가진 극점이 존재하게 된다. 즉 일정한 폭을 가지는 라인은 양쪽 가장자리에서 2개의 +극점을 가지게 된다. LoG의 확산동작을 반복함에 따라 스케일을 증가시키면 +극점은 라인 양쪽 에지영역에서 중심영역으로 이동하여 점진적으로 가까워져서 최종적으로 하나의 극점으로 중첩되어진다. 연속패턴 라인 중심축은 2개의 +극점이 중심영역에서 중첩되는 점이다. 제안하는 방법은 기존의 이진영상에서 적용되는 세선화 방법보다 강인하게 연속패턴 라인 중심축을 검출함을 확인하였다.

  • The measurement of physical properties such as apparent density and void fraction of tobacco materials, which is so bulky, is a main theme with regard to tobacco process, quality control, cigarette combustion and smoke generation. Except Solution Impregnation Method, there was no alternative method for measuring those properties in the porous material so far. However, experimental processes of that method are so complicated as to cost much time and labor, the main solution such as mercury to apply to the method is usually very hazard. Therefore, we had developed a new method to determine them easily in our other paper by the mathematical equations derived from the Ergun equation for the purpose of it, and then already evaluated our method through applying some basic data from Muramatsu et at. (1979) with regard to our developed equations. Then, we found our method best fit to experimental one (Oh et al., 2001). In this study we tried to establish our method to conveniently determine those physical properties. Especially, we have focused on the development the easy way to measure surface area and the volume of single shred in a tobacco column. As a result of that, we found that the computer image analyzer was best fit for it. Then, we have finally determined apparent density and void fraction for our domestic tobacco shred.

C.G.S공법을 적용한 연약점토지반에서의 거동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavior Characteristics of Soft Clay Ground by C.G.S Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 침하가 발생한 연약지반에 대하여 저유동성 몰탈에 의한 주입공법인 C.G.S공법의 적용성과 침하억제 효과를 확인하기 위하여 시험시공을 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 이용하여 지반조건에 적합한 설치직경, 간격, 심도, 주입재, 주입압 등 다양한 조건을 고려한 시공관리기준을 정하여 본 시공을 실시하였다. 본 시공과정 중에는 지반개량 효과를 파악하기 위하여 C.G.S개량 전, 후 현장지반조사 및 이에 따른 실내토질시험, 계측관리 등을 수행하였다. 현장 조사시험에 의한 강도특성 확인결과 C.G.S주입 주변지반은 개량전과 비교하여 전반적으로 지반강도가 증가되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 계측관리 및 압밀특성을 분석한 결과 주변지반의 압밀특성이 개선되었음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 특히 C.G.S주입재의 압축강도시험 결과 주변지반에 비해 강성이 매우 큰 C.G.S주입에 따른 복합지반효과를 통해 지지력 증대효과 및 응력분담으로 장래침하량을 억제할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 연약점성토 지반에서 C.G.S주입시공에 의한 침하억제효과로부터 공법의 적용성이 매우 양호한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Development of Fast Screening Method for Crop Protection Agents in Tobacco by Stir Bar Sorptive Extraction and Thermal Desorption coupled to GC/MS

  • Simultaneous determination of crop protection agents(CPAs) in food are done with multi-residue methods, which are composed of sample clean-up, concentration, chromatographic separation and detection. Stir Bar Sorptive Extraction(SBSE) technique is used for sample preparation of various analytes in several fields. The aim of this study was to develop a sensitive and fast method based on SBSE followed by thermal desorption - gas chromatography - mass spectrometry(TD - GC/MS) to determine CPAs in tobacco sample. For the analysis of tobacco sample prior to the SBSE method, solvent extraction or ultrasound-assisted solvent extraction was performed. methanol was used as the extraction solvent. The extract was then diluted with water. Finally, the sample was subjected to SBSE. A method for fast screening of crop protection agents in tobacco using SBSE-TD - GC/MS has been developed. About 17 CPAs including organochlorine, organophosphorous and others were identified and quantified. This method showed good linearity and high sensitivity for most of the target CPAs. The method was applied to the determination of CPAs at ng/mL levels in tobacco sample. This method is simple, rapid and may be applied in detection of other components.

XT15(ANCOM)를 활용한 잎담배 에테르 추출물의 최적 분석방법 구명(AOCS Method) (Optimized Analytical Method of Ether Extract in Leaf Tobacco by XT15(ANCOM) (AOCS Method))

  • The ether extract(EE) of leaf tobacco contains diverse compounds such as lipid, resinoid, paraffin hydrocarbons and pigments. Although the correlation of EE concentertion with leaf tobacco has not been established clearly, it is known that in some concentration range, EE concentration of leaf tobacco exerts good influence on the quality of tobacco. Recently, The American Oil Chemist's Society introduced new method(Am 5-04; AOCS, 2009) to determine EE concentration by AT15 extractor. This method is based on extraction with organic solvent at relatively high temperature and pressure, which significantly reduces the extraction time and ensures safety. The aim of this study is to optimize analytical condition of AOCS method for analyzing EE concentration of leaf tobacco. When sample pre-drying time and extraction time of XT15 were set to 3 hour and 30 minute and 30 minute respectively, EE concentration obtained from AOAC method. Statistical analysis(T-test) showed that there is no difference(P>0.05) between EE concentrations from two methods.

Comparison of Common Enrichment Methods for Recovery of Yersinia Enterocolitica from Artificially Inoculated Swine Feed Samples

  • 돼지사료에 있는 여시니아균의 효율적인 검출을 위해서 다섯 종류의 증식 방법들이 비교 연구되었다. Yersinia enterocolitica GER-C(혈청형 O:3) 가 1000CFU/g 사료 수준으로 들어 있을 때에 $4^{\circ}C$에서의 인산완충용액과 $4^{\circ}C$ 혹은 $21^{\circ}C$에서의 솔비톨과 담즙산염을 함유한 인산완충용액은 효과적이지 못했다. 하지만, irgasan-ticarcillin-potassium chlorate (ITC) 방법과 polymyxin과 novobiocin을 함유한 tryptic soy broth(TSBPN) 방법은 100-1000 CFU/g 사료 수준에서 탁월한 증식효과틀 보였다. ITC와 TSBPN 방법은 10 CFU/g 사료 수준에서도 종식 및 검출 효과가 있었다. Y. enterocolitica ATCC 9610 (혈청형 O:8)을 연구한 결과, 1000 CFU/g 사료 수준에서 TSBPN 증식방볍이 가장 효과적이었으며, 100 CFU/g 사료 수준에서도 증식 및 검출 되었지만, 10 CFU/g 사료 수준에서는 검출되지 않았다. 검출의 민감도와 상대적으로 간단한 조성방법 면에서 볼 때, TSBPN이 돼지사료에서 Y. enterocolitica를 증식, 검출하는데 있어서 가장 효과적인 방법이었다.

탄성일인자방법을 적용한 단일방향 탄소섬유/에폭시 DCB 시편의 파괴인성 결정 ($G_IC$ determination of unidirectional graphite /epoxy DCB composites from the elastic work factor approach)

  • Compliance calibration method is frequently used to determine $G_IC$ from the DCB composite specimen. However, the method requires at least 4 to 5 fracture test (loading-unloading) records. In this study, $G_IC$ of unidirectional graphite/epoxy DCB composites was determined from the elastic work factor approach which uses a single fracture test record. In order to inspect the validity of the elastic work factor approach, $G_IC$ determined from the elastic work factor approach was compared to that of determined from the compliance calibration method. It was shown that $G_IC$ determined from the elastic work factor approach was comparable to that determined from the compliance calibration method. That is, the elastic work factor approach can be used to determine $G_IC$ of unidirectional graphite/epoxy DCB specimen from a single fracture record.

보존된 파라핀 블록에서 핵산 추출기법에 관한 연구 (he Study of Nucleic Acid Extraction Method from Archival Paraffin Blocks)

  • It designed a study to examine the efficiency of DNA and RNA extraction from archival formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues using an non-heating and heating method. Archival paraffin blocks of liver, kidney, colon were randomly selected. Each paraffin block was prepared in 20 microtubes. For each paraffin blocks were tested non-heating DNA extraction to 10 microtubes and heating protocol under pH 7.0 and $100^{\circ}C$ to 10 microtubes. Evaluation of the results of DNA extraction was carried out by measuring concentration by UV spectrophotometry and then PCR amplification. DNA extraction content that non-heating method was liver $5{\pm}0.7{\mu}g/mL$, kidney $2{\pm}0.3{\mu}g/mL$, colon $6{\pm}0.4{\mu}g/mL$ and heating method was liver $12{\pm}0.6{\mu}g/mL$, kidney $7{\pm}0.5{\mu}g/mL$, colon $10.{\pm}0.3{\mu}g/mL$. Successful RNA extraction was observed, by ${\beta}$-actin amplification, in 46.7% sections for samples treated by the heating method versus 30.0% using non-heating DNA extraction. The extracted nucleic acid showed better values for samples heated at $100^{\circ}C$. Therefore heating extraction of nucleic acid is reliable, quick and efficiency.

C.S.G 공법의 실내 배합설계 (Laboratory Mix Design of C.S.G Method)

  • 최근 일본 및 선진외국에서는 C.S.G(Cemented Sand and Gravel) 재료를 활용한 시공공법이 점차 증가하고 있다. 특히 본 댐과 가물막이 댐의 축조공법으로 그 적용성을 인정받고 있는 C.S.G 공법은 댐 축조에 필요한 채석장 개발과 플랜트 건설에 투입되는 제반경비를 줄일 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 석산개발에 따른 환경훼손을 방지할 수 있게 됨으로써 경제성과 환경적 측면에서 기존의 댐 축조공법에 비하여 유리한 측면이 있다. 본 연구에서는 토질 역학적 개념에 기초한 C.S.G 공법의 배합설계 절차를 시료 선별과정, 다짐시험 방법, 표준 공시체의 제작방법 그리고 배합비의 결정순으로 살펴보고 일축압축시험 및 대형 삼축압축시험을 통해 얻어진 응력-변형특성 및 단위시멘트량에 따른 강도 및 탄성계수의 변화를 고찰하고 그 상관식을 제안하였다.

A Numerical Method for the Minimum Norm Solution to the First Kind Integral Equations

  • This paper introduces a numerical method approximating the minimum norm solution to the first kind integral equation Kf = g with its kernel satisfying a certain property, where g belongs to the range space of K. Most of the existing expansion methods suffer from choosing a set of basis functions, whereas this method automatically provides an optimal set of basis functions approximating the minimum norm solution of Kf = g. Perturbation results and numerical experiments are also provided to analyze this method.
