  • Recently, new financial services related to FinTech has gained attention more and more. Online P2P financial services transactions such as FinTech require careful examination of the constituents of information systems as an investment is made based on the information presented on the online platform without direct face-to-face contact. The purpose of this study is to find out the success factors of online P2P Lending service among FinTech. To serve the purpose, we build IS (information system) success model, and then use Kano model and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) to find out factors for the success of online P2P Lending service. In particular, this study uses Kano model to classify information system satisfaction factors and to calculate the satisfaction coefficient. The Kano model, however, has a drawback of evaluating single criterion. Therefore, we use multi-criteria decision-making technique such as Fuzzy-AHP to derive the relative importance of the factors. The analysis results show different results depending on the analysis technique. In the Kano model, most of the information system factors are a one-dimensional quality attribute. The satisfaction coefficient is highest for personalized service, followed by the responsiveness of service, ease of using a system, understanding of information, usefulness of information' reliability. The service reliability is the highest in dissatisfaction coefficient, followed by system security, service responsiveness, system stability, and personalized service. The results of the Fuzzy-AHP analysis shows that the usefulness of information quality, the personalization of service quality, and the security of system quality are the significant factors and the stability of system quality was a secondary factor.

  • This paper proposes a new $H_{\infty}$ T-S fuzzy controller with a novel integral control for induction motors which have nonlinear dynamics. The $H_{\infty}$ T-S fuzzy controller is used for the nonlinearity and robustness and weighted integral is used for tracking problem and control performance. A T-S Fuzzy controller is the fuzzy combination of local linear controllers considering the overall stability, and LMI(Linear Matrix Inequlity) is used for determining the gains of linear controllers. The tracking problem of an induction motor is changed into regulator problem by introducing the integral control technique with weighting factor, diminishing the conservatism of $H_{\infty}$ T-S fuzzy controller.

  • In this study, we introduce a new category of fuzzy inference systems based on information granulation to carry out the model identification of complex and nonlinear systems. Informally speaking, information granules are viewed as linked collections of objects (data, in particular) drawn together by the criteria of proximity, similarity, or functionality Granulation of information with the aid of Hard C-Means (HCM) clustering help determine the initial parameters of fuzzy model such as the initial apexes of the membership functions and the initial values of polynomial functions being used in the premise and consequence part of the fuzzy rules. And the initial parameters are tuned effectively with the aid of the genetic algorithms(GAs) and the least square method (LSM). An aggregate objective function with a weighting factor is also used in order to achieve a balance between performance of the fuzzy model. The proposed model is evaluated with using a numerical example and is contrasted with the performance of conventional fuzzy models in the literature.

  • In this study, a GIS spatial analysis method adopted fuzzy concept was introduced and land suitability analysis of waste landfill were conducted through this method. Previous studies conducted site evaluation and land suitability analysis by appling spatial overlay of conventional GIS that based on the boolean logic of crisp set. However these method can not consider the uncertainty of spatial data and the incongruity of data classification criteria, because these method handle spatial data based on the boolean logic of crisp set. As not provided trustable analysis result, conventional GIS spatial overlay method lacks opportunity for expanding use in reality. This study selected waste landfill as facility for analysis and applied fuzzy spatial analysis method as an objective approach. In the concrete contents of study, a series process with regard to the definition procedure of membership function for continuous data and the fuzzy input value generation of spatial data for fuzzy analysis is established. As a result, in this study we proposed a method that derive parameters for deciding the membership function of spatial data by considering the criterion of data classification and factor selection for land suitability analysis of waste landfill.

  • Smartphones are widely used as a mobile communication devices with more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary feature phone. As the market expands, many brand-new smartphones are released and chosen by (potential) smartphone users. In spite of smartphone's popularity, little research of the factors affecting the evaluation of smartphones and their influences on smartphone choice have been performed. Therefore, we aim to analyze evaluation factors of smartphone selection and use in this research. We use Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method, a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) model, to find the relative importance among the factors considering the fuzziness of pair-wise comparison using AHP. After reviewing related works and interviewing the focus group, we extract the five independent factors influencing the choice and use of a smartphone. Pair-wise comparison and triangle fuzzy numbers are used to calculate the relative importance of factors. We analyze not only the whole interviewees' responses, but the differences between smartphone users and non-users. Practical implications are delivered in concluding remarks.

  • Generally, real system that is the object of decision-making is very variable and sometimes it lies situations with uncertainty. To solve these problem, it has used statistical methods as significance level, certainty factor, sensitivity analysis and so on. In this paper, we propose a method for fuzzy decision-making based on MFAC(Multiple Fuzzy Alpha Cut) to improve the definiteness of classification results with similarity evaluation. In the proposed method, MFAC is used for extracting multiple a ${\alpha}$-level with proximity degree at proximity relation between relative Hamming distance and max-min method and for minimizing the number of data which are associated with the partition intervals extracted by MFAC. To determine final alternative of decision-making, we compute the weighted value between extracted data by MFAC From the experimental results, we can see the fact that the proposed method is simpler and more definite than classification performance of the conventional methods and determines an alternative efficiently for decision-maker by testing significance of sample data through statistical method.

  • This paper deals with a fault detection system design for nonlinear systems with uncertain time varying parameters modelled as a T-S fuzzy system. A coprime factorization for T-S fuzzy systems is defined and a residual generator is designed using a left coprime factor. A fault detection criteria derived from the residual generator is also suggested. In order to demonstrate the efficacy of the suggested method, the fault defection method is applied to an inverted pendulum system and computer simulations are performed.

  • Columns in multi-storey frames are presently categorised as either braced or unbraced, usually by means of the stability index criterion, for estimating their effective length ratios by design aids such as 'alignment charts'. This procedure, however, ignores the transition in buckling behaviour between the braced condition and the unbraced one. Hence, this results in either an overestimation or an underestimation of effective length estimates of columns in frames that are in fact 'partially braced'. It is shown in this paper that the transitional behaviour is gradual, and can be approximately modelled by means of a 'fuzzy logic' based technique. The proposed technique is simple and intuitively agreeable. It fills the existing gap between the braced and unbraced conditions in present codal provisions.

  • We propose a hierarchically structured navigation algorithm for multiple mobile robots under unknown dynamic environment based on fussy-neural algorithm. The proposed algorithm consists of two basic layers. The lower layer consists of two parts such as fuzzy algorithm for goal approach and fuzzy-neural algorithm for obstacle avoidance. The upper layer which is basically fuzzy algorithm adjusts the magnitude of the weighting factor depending on the environmental situation. In addition, The proposed algorithm provides an efficient method to escape local mimimum points as shown in the simulation result. The efficacy of the proposed method is demonstrated via some simulations.

  • This paper introduces the modified slip energy recovery system in order to improve its power factor and to reduce harmonics of line current waveforms. Twelve pulse line commutated converter with the chopper type IGBT is applied where the chopper is applied across the DC terminal and the chopped DC is fed to the converter operating as an inverter and then passed through the wye-wye and delta-wye transformer circuit. This scheme leads to be able to adjust the speed of the motor by the duty cycle of the chopper operating in PWM mode. The fuzzy logic controller is also introduced to the modified slip energy recovery system for keeping the motor speed to be constant when the load varies. The experimental results in testing the 0.22 kW wound rotor induction motor from no-load condition to rated condition show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
