진동분석을 통한 회전익 드론의 블레이드 착빙 예지 (Prognosis of Blade Icing of Rotorcraft Drones through Vibration Analysis)

  • Weather is one of the main causes of aircraft accidents, and among the phenomena caused by weather, icing is a phenomenon in which an ice layer is formed when an object exposed to an atmosphere below a freezing temperature collides with supercooled water droplets. If this phenomenon occurs in the rotor blades, it causes defects such as severe vibration in the airframe and eventually leads to loss of control and an accident. Therefore, it is necessary to foresee the icing situation so that it can ascend and descend at an altitude without a freezing point. In this study, vibration data in normal and faulty conditions was acquired, data features were extracted, and vibration was predicted through deep learning-based algorithms such as CNN, LSTM, CNN-LSTM, Transformer, and TCN, and performance was compared to evaluate blade icing. A method for minimizing operating loss is suggested.

포장방법이 동결계육의 저장성 및 미생물의 증식에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Packing Method on Shelf-life and Microbiology of Frozen Chicken)

  • This experiment was carried out to find out the effects of packing methods on shelf-life and hy-giene of breast and thigh meats in chicken. The carcass weights were about 1.6 kg per bird, and chilled by air spray method. The breast and thigh meats were packed by either vacuum or atmosphere packing methods. Samples were analyzed at 1, 4, 8, 12 and 16 wk after quick freezing at -45˚C for 35 min. Regardless of packing method. The thiobarbituric acid(TBA) values of thigh meats after 1 wk of storage were higher than those of breast meats. The TBA values of both treatments were increased as storage period extended. In addition, the TBA values of vacuum packed meats were lower than those of atmosphere packed meats. The VBN(volatile basic nitrogen) values, regardless of packing method, at 1 wk of storage were higher than those of breast meats. The VBN contents of breast and thigh meats after 16 wk of storage increased markedly, but failed to show significant difference between the two packaging methods. Total plate counts of breast and thigh meats were increased gradually as storage period extended, and the total plate count of breast meat was higher than that of thigh meat. The coliform bacteria were not detected until 16 wk after storage.

  • This study evaluated the efficiency and compared with different materials of loading vessels for vitrification-plastic/glass, copper grid and nylon. The loading method, vitrification, cryop-reservation and warming method of the oocytes were examined. The loading samples prepared in manual or company-made and sterilized, loaded the COCs selected on each samples and cultured for maturation during 40 hours, and then exposed sequentially to ethylene glycol solution. Thawing method was reversely treated and exposed for warmed oocytes. After oocytes were thawed, fertilized and cultured in vitro for 3-4 hours, rates of development and morphological appearance were examined. The results were as summarized: ㆍOPS from company-made or hand-made of the hematocrit micropipettes, NLS from fishing line and EMG from company-made for EM were used for loading oocytes, respectively. ㆍThe efficiency of freezing method and loading convenience were orderly higher in OPS, NLS and EMG. The optimal capacity per vessel was orderly lowered in NLS, EMG and OPS, respectively. ㆍAfter oocytes were warmed, the recovery rate, morphology and rate of development were orderly higher in OPS, NLS and EMG, respectively. ㆍIn conclusion, OPS has the advantages of achieving a little more survival and preserving results than other two loading methods.

장어 시판제품에 대한 동북아시아의 가공현황 및 일본인 소비자의 구매실태 조사 (A Study on Utilization of Japanese Consumers and the Present Condition of Northeast Asia Processed Eels)

  • This study investigated the current processing degree and ingredients of sauce on the packaging of the commercial eel products made in Northeast Asia (Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan) and surveyedthe perception of nutritional functionality and purchasing pattern of Japanese consumers for the processed eels. The results are considered as a useful aid for preparation of processed eel products. The commercial eel products, purchased at a department store, supermarket and discount market, were divided by processing method, package quantity, storage method and sauce ingredients. The processing method was indicated in many different ways in each country, such as sauce ingredients and intake method. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 105 Japanese consumers (male 43, female 62) visiting Korea. Of the respondents, 44% answered and the major reasons for purchasing processed eel products were as a side dish for meals. The results for this factor were significantly different in relation to age (p <0.05). The degree of perceptions of functional excellence about processed eel products was well known (37%), some (49%), and seldom (14%). The results for this factor were significantly different in relation to age (p <0.001). Seventy-five percent of the respondents had experienced processed eel products. The type of purchase of the respondents was highest for vinegared rice and fish (47%), followed by freezing (33%), canning (5%), and dried food (4%), in that order.

레미콘 단위수량 산포가 콘크리트 강도 및 내구성에 미치는 영향 (An Influence of Unit-Water Content Distribution in Ready-Mixed Concrete on Strength and Durability of Concrete)

  • 레미콘 제조오차에 의한 콘크리트내의 물의 수량이 증가하면 내구성저하 등의 다양한 문제점을 야기하게 된다. 이러한 이유로 여러 방법들 중에 단위수량의 신속측정법인 정전용량법, 고주파가열법, 단위용적질량법을 이용하여 단위수량의 변동을 관리하고 있으며, 특히 일본의 경우에는 단위수량 변동 ($\pm$ 10, 15, 20 kg/$m^3$ 등)에 대한 관리지침을 규정하여 관리하고 있다. 그러나 일본에서 규정하고 있는 각종 지침들이 내구성 저하도를 고려하지 않은 상태에서 제조오차와 측정오차를 확률적으로 고려한 불확도 개념에서 합부판정 기준을 정하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 불확도 개념뿐만 아니라 실제 수량 산포에 따라 내구성 저하에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 수량을 추가로 첨가하여 동결융해, 중성화, 염해를 중심으로 내구성 저하도를 측정하였다. 이상의 실험 결과 일반강도 범위 내에서 15 kg/$m^3$ 이상의 수량이 추가로 첨가 되었을 경우 콘크리트의 성능 저하 효과가 크기 때문에 설계된 내구 성능의 적정 수준 이상을 유지하기 위해서는 배합 설계된 단위수량에 대한 품질관리에 유의할 필요가 있다.

생쥐 배아 동결시 액체질소의 분사속도가 해빙후 배아의 발달, 미세섬유, 미토콘드리아 및 세포자연사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Different Infusion Frequency of Liquid Nitrogen on Actin Filament, Mitochondria, Apoptosis and Development in Mouse 2-Cell Embryo after Freezing and Thawing)

  • 컴퓨터 세포동결기를 이용하여 생쥐 배아를 동결할 때 액체질소 (L$N_2$)의 분사속도가 해빙 후 배아의 미세구조, 기능 및 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 배아는 동결을 하지 않은 대조군 (control) 및 동결군에서 L$N_2$의 분사속도에 따라 고속분사군 (120 infusion/min group 1), 저속분사군 (50 infusion/min; group 2)으로 나누었다. ICR 계열의 생쥐의 2 세포기 배아를 사용하였으며, 동결 및 해빙은 저속동결-급속해빙 방법을 사용하였다. 각 군에 따라 해빙 후 배아의 생존율과 세포질이 양호하고 분절화가 없는 2세포기 배아를 대상으로 포배 발달율 및 할구수를 측정하였다. 공초점 현미경을 이용하여 배아 내에서의 $H_2O$$_2$, 활성 미토콘드리아의 분포, 막전위차 및 actin filament를 측정하였으며, TUNEL 방법을 이용하여 DNA 분절화를 확인하였다. 동결-해빙 후 건강한 2 세포기 배아의 회수율은 group 1 (50.7%)에 비해 group 2 (34.6%)에서 현저히 감소했다 (p<0.05). 포배기 배아의 발생율 (86.7%, 76.7% vs. 44.0%)과 할구수 (79.5$\pm$12.9, 71.6$\pm$8.0 vs. 62.5$\pm$4.7)는 대조군 혹은 group 1에 비해 group 2에서 유의한 차이를 보였다 (p<0.05). H$_2$0$_2$의 상대적 강도는 group 2에서 유의하게 증가하였다 (15.3$\pm$3.0, 16.6$\pm$1.6 vs. 23.4$\pm$1.8, p<0.05). 활성 미토콘드리아의 분포는 정상적인 배아에서는 균등하게 분포하는 반면 배발달이 정지된 배아에서는 원형질막 주위에 몰리고 응집된 양상을 보였다. 그러나 대조군, group 1, group 2에서는 모두 균등하게 분포하여 각 군간에 차이가 없었다. 미토콘드리아의 JC-1 염색 결과는 대조군과 group 1의 경우 590 nm의 파장으로 발산되는 미토콘드리아가 group 2에 비하여 유의하게 증가하였다 (17.2$\pm$3.8, 17.4$\pm$1.3 vs. 13.2$\pm$2.0, p<0.05). 2세포기 배아내 미세섬유 (actin filament)는 대조군 및 group 1의 경우 균일하게 분포하는 반면, group 2에서는 부분적인 결손과 응집현상이 관찰되었다. DNA 분절율 (30.8%, 36.0% vs. 65.6%; p<0.05)은 group 2에서 유의하게 증가하였다. 동결시 액체질소의 분사속도는 해빙 후 배아 발달에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용하며, L$N_2$의 분사속도의 증가는 동결과 정에서 하강 온도의 미세한 변화를 감소시켜 세포내 골격구조와 미토콘드리아의 상해를 감소시켜 $H_2O$$_2$의 발생과 DNA 분절화를 감소시켜 배아 발생을 호전시키는 것으로 사료된다.

융해-동결작용을 고려한 말뚝 기초에 관한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Pile Foundation Considering the Thawing and Freezing Effects)

  • 계절성 동토의 온도 변화에 따른 융해 및 동결작용에 의한 지반의 거동이 말뚝 기초의 변위 및 지지력에 끼치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석은 온도 변화에 따른 지반-말뚝 상호작용을 모사하기 위해 유한요소법 기반의 TM 모델링(Thermo-Mechanical coupled Modeling)을 적용하였으며, 동결 지반은 온도 의존적 비선형 물성을 적용하였다. 지반의 구성 모델은 소성 거동을 모사하기 위한 MCR 모델(Mohr Coulomb with Rankine Tensile cut-off Model)과 HDP 모델(Nonlinear Hyperbolic Drucker-Prager Model)을 각각 적용하였으며, 말뚝의 길이 및 너비 조건을 선정해 수치해석 결과를 비교 및 분석하였다. 수치해석 결과는 HDP 구성 모델이 비교적 작은 지반 거동과 지지력을 보였으나, 전체적으로는 말뚝의 길이 및 너비 조건에 따라 지지력 및 말뚝 머리의 변위 결과의 양상과 그 크기는 유사하게 나타났다. 지반의 융해-동결작용으로 인한 말뚝 머리(pile head)의 수직 변위는 길이 조건이 짧을수록 변위의 변화 폭이 크게 나타났다. 수직 변위는 길이 조건에 따라 MCR 구성 모델에서는 최대 0.0387m의 융해 침하와 0.0277m의 동결 융기가 발생했으며, HDP 구성 모델에서는 최대 0.0367m의 융해 침하와 0.0264m의 동결 융기가 발생했다. 또한 두 탄소성 모델에 대한 말뚝의 지지력 결과는 말뚝의 길이 조건보다 너비 조건에서 더 큰 차이를 보였으며, 너비 조건 L에서 최대 약 14.7%, M에서 최대 약 5.4%, S에서 최대 약 5.3%가 발생하였다. 이에 말뚝 머리의 수직 변위와 말뚝의 지지력은 말뚝-지반의 접촉 면적에 영향을 크게 받으며, 지반 내 활성층의 활성도에 따라 차이를 보였다.

  • Selection of oocyte cryopreservation method is a prerequisite factor for developing an effective bank system. Compared with slow freezing method, the vitrification has various advantages such as avoiding intracellular ice crustal formation. In our previous, we attempted to employ a vitrification method using ethylene glycol and an electron microscope grid for cryopreservation of mouse oocytes. However, A high incidence of spindle and chromosome abnormalities was detected in thawed oocytes after vitrification. We examined whether the addition of a cystoskeleton stabilizer Taxol $^{TM}$, to the vitrification solution could promote the post-thawed survival and subsequent development of stored oocytes. More oocytes developed to the 4-cell (44.7% vs. 69.7%), 8-cell (31.8% vs. 64.2%), morula (24.7% vs. 54.3%), and blastocyst (20.3% vs. 49.2%) stages after the addition of Taxol$^{TM}$ to the cryoprotectant than after no addition. 21 and 26 mouse pups were born after transfer of blastocyst derived from oocytes vitrified without and with Taxol. The addition of Taxol to vitrification solution greatly promoted post-thaw preimplantation development of ICR morose oocytes.tes.

뇌졸중후 뇌위축에 대한 조경론적 접근 (Role of $17{\beta}$- Estradiol on Brain Atrophy Following Cerebral Infarction)

  • Objective : The aim of this study was to investigate the neuroprotection effect of estrogen on brain atrophy following cerebral infarction. Method : All animals in this study were classified into 4 groups; ovariectomy group (OVXgroup), cerebral infarction group (INF group), combination ovariectomy and cerebral infarction group (OVX + INF group), and naturally intact group for control data (NOR group). Cerebral infarction was made by Chen's method with some modification. Ovariectomy was performed by Wayforth's method. Experimental data for each group was collected at 15 days, month, 3 months, and 6 months after starting observation. Serum $17{\beta}-estradiol(E2)$ was determined by radioimmunoassay. Brain volume was measured and calculated with image analysis. Each brain was sliced at intervals of 2mm in chamber after 30 min of freezing in refregerater. Cerebral volume was obtained by sum of volume of each slice level, which was mean $area{\;}{\times}{\;}2mm$. Results : Cerebral ischemia was found to decrease the serum concentration of $17{\beta}-{\;}estradiol(E2)$ and to inhibit the physiologically conpensatary function of the ovariectomized rats. Also we found that deprivation of estrogen have resulted in more severe cerebral atrophy followed by cerebral infarction. Conclusion : It is suggested that estrogen has a neuroprotection effect on cerebral atrophy following cerebral infarction.

EG/AD 모형빙 정도 향상을 위한 콜드룸에서의 생성기법 및 계측기법 연구 (An Experimental Study on Generation and Measurement Method of EG/AD Model Ice at Cold Room for Improvement of Its Properties)

  • Generation and measurement methods of EG/AD model ice, which is used in KIOST ice model basin are investigated for improvement of its properties. Temperature of seed water, air temperature in the freezing phase and the target air temperature in the tempering phase were changed in the cold room, and the properties of model ice was measured in this conditions. We also verified a conventional measuring method of flexural strength of model ice caused a little measuring error in cold room, so that we suggested a new measuring method that must be used higher supports than double the thickness of the model ice. In this study, we improved the generation and measurement technique of EG/AD model ice, and the developed procedure at cold room can be applied to the KIOST ice model basin.
