  • The fabrication of devices using plans technology could lend to n serious degradation in the breakdown voltage as a result of high electric field at the edges. An elegant approach to reducing the electric field at the edge is by using field limiting ring. The presence of surface charge has n strong influrence on the depletion layer spreading at the surface region because this charge complements the charge due to the ionized acceptors inside the depletion layer. Surface charge of either polarity can lower the breakdown voltage because it affects the distribution of electric field st the edges. In this paper we discuss the influrences of fixed oxide charge on the breakdown voltage of the p+/n junction with field limiting ring(or without field limiting ring).

자기장을 통한 침자극이 압통 역치에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Acupuncture with Magnetic Ring on Pain Threshold Using Algometer)

  • Like acupuncture, magnetic therapy has been known to yield effectiveness when it is applied to relieve from fatigue, musculoskelectal diseases, sore sites, rheumatic arthritis and chronic pain syndromes. However, combined application of acupuncture and magnet has not yet been studied. This study is designed to investigate effectiveness of acupuncture therapy when in the magnetic field for the pain relief. Magnetic field was made by magnetic ring ($7{\psi}{\times}2.3{\psi}{\times}1.5mm$). Twenty-one male swimmers with latent muscular pain at the GB21 area in the university course of physical education in Daegu were chosen and divided into three groups; 1) acupuncture treatment group (n=7), 2) acupuncture treatment with iron ring group (n=7), 3) acupuncture treatment with magnetic ring group (n=7). Manual Acupuncture was given to the GB21 point for 20 minutes. The degree of pressure pain threshold (PPT, $kg/cm^2$) in GB21 was measured with algometer. Before acupuncture treatment, the PPT values were $6.08{\pm}1.69$, $6.39{\pm}1.72$ and $5.59{\pm}1.11$ in acupuncture treatment group, acupuncture treatment with iron ring group, acupuncture treatment with magnetic ring group, respectively. After acupuncture treatment, the PPT values were $6.48{\pm}2.33$, $6.31{\pm}1.31$ and $6.59{\pm}1.80$, respectively. Pressure threshold was significantly increased in the acupuncture treatment with magnetic ring group compared to the other groups. Based on these results, acupuncture treatment with magnetic ring produced better effects on pain threshold, and these effects can be considered to be associated with the currents or voltages induced by the acupuncture needle and magnetic ring at present.

  • 지구자기구의 자기유체파에 대한 혼합의 성질을 연구하기 위해 3차원 box model을 개발하였다. 이 모델에서 축대칭 ring current의 효과를 자기유체파동방정식에 압력의 변화로 가정함으로써 조사하였다. 압축성 파는 축대칭 ring current에 의하여 noise가 발생되지만 자기력선 공명현상에는 어떠한 영향도 미치지 않는다느 사실을 발견하였다. 그러므로 압력 변화에 의한 ring current가 존재하는 지역에서 global 공동(cavity) mode 와 같이 불연속적인 주파수가 나타나지 않는 위성실험결과를 설명할 수 있었다. 또한 횡파의 연속적인 주파수 띠는 ring current가 지구의 이중극자축에 비대칭이 되어질 때 까지 영향을 받지 않음을 밝혔으며 따라서 실험결과에서 횡파에 의한 스펙트럼이 압축성파에 비해 매우 자주 관측됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 추가로 본 연구에서 압력의 변화를 가정하지 않은 이전의 box model이나 dipole model 에서 얻은 파 혼합현상의 결과가 유효함을 보였다.

ON SOME TWISTED COHOMOLOGY OF THE RING OF INTEGERS

  • As an analogy of $Poincar{\acute{e}}$ series in the space of modular forms, T. Ono associated a module $M_c/P_c$ for ${\gamma}=[c]{\in}H^1(G,R^{\times})$ where finite group G is acting on a ring R. $M_c/P_c$ is regarded as the 0-dimensional twisted Tate cohomology ${\hat{H}}^0(G,R^+)_{\gamma}$. In the case that G is the Galois group of a Galois extension K of a number field k and R is the ring of integers of K, the vanishing properties of $M_c/P_c$ are related to the ramification of K/k. We generalize this to arbitrary n-dimensional twisted cohomology of the ring of integers and obtain the extended version of theorems. Moreover, some explicit examples on quadratic and biquadratic number fields are given.

  • 내부 전계 링을 갖는 LDMOS 항복전압의 해석적 모델이 제시되었다. 제시된 모델은 드리프트 영역의 크기와 불순물 농도, 내부 전계 링의 불순물 농도, 절연막의 두께와 유전상수 등을 변수로 하여 개발된 해석적 모델이다 2차원 TCAD 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 검증한 결과, 제시된 모델이 내부 전계 링을 갖는 LDMOS 항복 현상을 잘 설명한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Zinc-Borosilicate is used as a side insulator wall to make high breakdown voltage with one Field Limiting Ring in a power p-n junction device in simulation. It is known that surface charge density can be yield at the interface of Zinc-Borosilicate glass / silicon system. When the glass is used as a side insulator wall, surface charge varied potential distribution and breakdown voltage is improved 1090 V under the same structure.The breakdown voltage under varying the surface charge density has a limit value. When the epitaxial thickness is varied, the position of FLR doesn't influence to the breakdown characteristic not only under non punch-through structure but also under punch-through structure.   • This paper establishes a formula changing the ring from a Noetherian local ring A of dimension d > 0 containing the residue field k to the polynomial ring in d variables k[X1, X2, …, Xd] for mixed multiplicities. And as consequences, we get a formula for the multiplicity of Rees rings and formulas for mixed multiplicities and the multiplicity of Rees rings of quotient rings of A by highest dimensional associated prime ideals of A.

8인치 Si Power MOSFET Field Ring 영역의 도핑농도 변화에 따른 전기적 특성 비교에 관한 연구 (Characterization and Comparison of Doping Concentration in Field Ring Area for Commercial Vertical MOSFET on 8" Si Wafer)

  • Power Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor's (MOSFETs) are well known for superior switching speed, and they require very little gate drive power because of the insulated gate. In these respects, power MOSFETs approach the characteristics of an "ideal switch". The main drawback is on-resistance RDS(on) and its strong positive temperature coefficient. While this process has been driven by market place competition with operating parameters determined by products, manufacturing technology innovations that have not necessarily followed such a consistent path have enabled it. This treatise briefly examines metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) device characteristics and elucidates important future issues which semiconductor technologists face as they attempt to continue the rate of progress to the identified terminus of the technology shrink path in about 2020. We could find at the electrical property as variation p base dose. Ultimately, its ON state voltage drop was enhanced also shrink chip size. To obtain an optimized parameter and design, we have simulated over 500 V Field ring using 8 Field rings. Field ring width was $3{\mu}m$ and P base dose was $1e15cm^2$. Also the numerical multiple $2.52cm^2$ was obtained which indicates the doping limit of the original device. We have simulated diffusion condition was split from $1,150^{\circ}C$ to $1,200^{\circ}C$. And then $1,150^{\circ}C$ diffusion time was best condition for break down voltage.

철탑의 반사 효과에 따른 FM CP-Ring 안테나의 방사 패턴 고찰 및 현장 적용 방안 (Study and Adaptation of FM CP-Ring Antenna Radiation Pattern Transmission Facility)

  • 본 논문에서는 우리나라 FM(Frequency Modulation) 방송국에서 송신용 안테나로 사용하고 있는 CP(circularly polarized)-dipole 안테나와 CP(circularly polarized)-ring 안테나에 대해 실제 전계 강도 측정을 통한 안테나의 전파 방사 패턴을 조사하고, 현장 적용에 대해 비교 고찰하였다. 비교 결과, 송·중계소가 방송국의 방송 서비스 지역의 한 가운데에 위치하는 경우에는 CP-dipole 안테나(4방향)가 유용하며, 후방에 있는 철탑의 반사 효과로 인해 지향 특성을 갖는 CP-ring 안테나는 지향 방향의 조정을 통하여 타 지역으로의 전파 월경 방지는 물론 주요 서비스 방향으로 5∼9dB 높은 전파를 방사할 수 있었다. 특히, 송·중계소가 서비스 구역의 한 쪽 방향에 위치하여 3방향으로 전파를 방사하는 경우가 많은 우리나라에서는 CP-ring 안테나를 사용하여 안테나의 지향 방향을 인구 및 도로 밀집 지역으로 집중하여 방송 수신 환경을 개선시킬 수 있다.

Electromagnetic Electron-Cyclotron Wave for Ring Distribution with Alternating Current (AC) Electric Field in Saturn Magnetosphere

  • During their respective missions, the spacecraft Voyager and Cassini measured several Saturn magnetosphere parameters at different radial distances. As a result of information gathered throughout the journey, Voyager 1 discovered hot and cold electron distribution components, number density, and energy in the 6-18 Rs range. Observations made by Voyager of intensity fluctuations in the 20-30 keV range show electrons are situated in the resonance spectrum's high energy tail. Plasma waves in the magnetosphere can be used to locate Saturn's inner magnetosphere's plasma clusters, which are controlled by Saturn's spin. Electromagnetic electron cyclotron (EMEC) wave ring distribution function has been investigated. Kinetic and linear approaches have been used to study electromagnetic cyclotron (EMEC) wave propagation. EMEC waves' stability can be assessed by analyzing the dispersion relation's effect on the ring distribution function. The primary goal of this study is to determine the impact of the magnetosphere parameters which is observed by Cassini. The magnetosphere of Saturn has also been observed. When the plasma parameters are increased as the distribution index, the growth/damping rate increases until the magnetic field model affects the magnetic field at equator, as can be seen in the graphs. We discuss the outputs of our model in the context of measurements made in situ by the Cassini spacecraft.
