Let X and Y be vector spaces. It is shown that a mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ satisfies the functional equation ${\ddag}$$$2df(\frac{x_1+{\sum}_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^jx_j}{2d})-2df(\frac{x_1+{\sum}_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^{j+1}x_j}{2d})=2\sum_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^jf(x_j)$$ if and only if the mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ is additive, and prove the Cauchy-Rassias stability of the functional equation (${\ddag}$) in Banach modules over a unital $C^*$-algebra, and in Poisson Banach modules over a unital Poisson $C^*$-algebra. Let $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ be unital $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $JC^*$-algebras or Lie $JC^*$-algebras. As an application, we show that every almost homomorphism $h:\mathcal{A}{\rightarrow}\mathcal{B}$ of $\mathcal{A}$ into $\mathcal{B}$ is a homomorphism when $h(d^nuy)=h(d^nu)h(y)$ or $h(d^nu{\circ}y)=h(d^nu){\circ}h(y)$ for all unitaries $u{\in}\mathcal{A}$, all $y{\in}\mathcal{A}$, and n = 0, 1, 2, ${\cdots}$. Moreover, we prove the Cauchy-Rassias stability of homomorphisms in $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $JC^*$-algebras or Lie $JC^*$-algebras, and of Lie $JC^*$-algebra derivations in Lie $JC^*$-algebras.
Korean delimits words by white-space like English, but words In Korean Is a little different in structure from those in English. Words in English generally consist of one word, but those in Korean are composed of one word and/or morpheme or more. Because of this difference, a word between white-spaces is called an Eojeol in Korean. We propose a method for segmenting and classifying Korean words and/or morphemes based on syllables using an instance-based learning. In this paper, elements of feature sets for the instance-based learning are one previous syllable, one current syllable, two next syllables, a final consonant of the current syllable, and two previous categories. Our method shows more than 97% of the F-measure of word segmentation using ETRI corpus and KAIST corpus.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of palatal height on Korean vowels and speech intelligibility in Korean adults and to produce baseline data for future prosthodontic treatment. Material and methods: Forty one healthy Korean men and women who had no problem in pronunciation, hearing, and communication and had no history of airway disease participated in this study. Subjects were classified into H, M, and L groups after clinical determination of palatal height with study casts. Seven Korean vowels were used as sample vowels and subjects'clear speech sounds were recorded using Multispeech software program on computer. The F1 and the F2 of 3 groups were produced and they were compared. In addition, the vowel working spaces of 3 groups by /a/, /i/, and /u/ corner vowels were obtained and their areas were compared. Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whiteny U test were used as statistical methods and P < .05 was considered statistically significant. Results: There were no significant differences in formant frequencies among 3 groups except for the F2 formant frequency between H and L group (P = .003). In the analysis of vowel working space areas of 3 groups, the vowel working spaces of 3 groups were similar in shape and no significant differences of their areas were found. Conclusion: The palatal height did not affect vowel frequencies in most of the vowels and speech intelligibility. The dynamics of tongue activity seems to compensate the morphological difference.
The aim of this study is to review the creative fashion installation of Henrik Vibskov, Danish designer. Its intention is to contribute useful information for more innovative fashion presentation. As a research method, document and case study were performed and his collections from 2004 F/W to 2016 S/S were analyzed. In fashion installation, the designer puts objects in meaningful spaces in order to convey a certain message, to make an integrated artwork, and to interact with spectator. It has been used in fashion exhibitions, as well as in the set design of fashion performance and fashion show. The results were as follows. Henrik Vibskov's fashion installation has three features, which are 1)conceptual theme approach that communicates a twisted and metaphoric message, with a poetic and interesting show title, 2) surrealistic scenography that plays with fragmentation of the human body, clustering of plastic and symbolic objects, innovative color transformations, and visual trickery between figures and the background, and 3) setting for multisensory performance that makes spectators interact by making artistic objects and surroundings, which stimulates the five senses. Henrik Vibskov's fashion installation can exist as an independent artwork, and not just as a supporting piece for a fashion show. It has both artistic and fashionable values, and can be an effective fashion presentation communicating his conceptual fashion themes.
New technologie of information and interaction create ambiguous, multifaceted relationships between concepts and realities that once seemed clear and simple. The acvent of cyberspace implies the existence of cyberplaces and relationships among cyberspace and places that could be as or more complex then those that exist among the spaces and places of the non-digital world. Virtual reality-the current uses of infomation technologies to create replicas of places and processes in the world-offers a point of exploring such relationships. But more penetrating insights become evident in the examination of real virtuality-the uses of information technologies to enhance the experience of places in the world. Real virtuality offers geographers a variety of innovative and powerful tools for augmenting the effectiveness and domain of their craft. Widespread use of real virtuality by geograpgers will alter their use of data, methods, and theory in research, teaching, and practice.

Aspergillus fumigatus is associated with invasive disease aspergillosis in immunocompromised individuals. The major aim of this study was to investigate the biochemical and immunological responses of male Wistar rats against A. fumigatus experimentally-induced pulmonary fungal infection. Nostril experimental exposure of male Wistar rats to a high dose of A. fumigatus freeze-dried preparation for only 24 hr resulted in a significant increase in levels of catalase, nitric oxide and lipid peroxide in lung homogenates, compared to those of the control animals. However, the oxidative status of the lungs of rats challenged with killed fungus did not change significantly, except for the stimulation in the level of lipid peroxide. IgG level was significantly elevated only in rats that received two low doses of fungus, compared to unexposed animals (p < 0.005). Examining the lung of rats exposed to A. fumigatus revealed no abnormal changes, except for pus in bronchial lumen spaces and per bronchial inflammation. Histologically, large numbers of granuloma cells were evident in the lungs of challenged rats, while no granuloma formation was evident in the lungs of rats exposed to killed fungus.
Direct membrane filtration (DMF) of wastewater has many advantages over conventional biological wastewater treatment processes. DMF is not only compact, but potentially energy efficient due to the lack of biological aeration. It also produces more biosolids that can be used to produce methane gas through anaerobic digestion. Most of ammoniacal nitrogen in wastewater is preserved in effluent and is used as fertilizer when effluent is recycled for irrigation. In this study, a technical feasibility of DMF was explored. Organic and nitrogen removal efficiencies were compared between DMF and membrane bioreactor (MBR). Despite the extremely high F/V ratio, e.g., $14.4kg\;COD/m^3/d$, DMF provided very high COD removal efficiencies at ~93%. Soluble microbial products (SMP) and extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) were less in DMF sludge, but membrane fouling rate was far greater than in MBR. The diversity of microbial community in DMF appeared very narrow based on the morphological observation using optical microscope. On the contrary, highly diverse microbial community was observed in the MBR. Microorganisms tended to form jelly globs and attach on reactor wall in DMF. FT-IR study revealed that the biological globs were structurally supported by feather-like materials made of secondary amines. Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) study showed microorganisms mainly resided on the external surface of microbial globs rather than the internal spaces.
In this paper we study the small-data scattering of the d dimensional fractional $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ equations with d = 2, 3, $L{\acute{e}}vy$ index 1 < ${\alpha}$ < 2 and Hartree type nonlinearity $F(u)={\mu}({\mid}x{\mid}^{-{\gamma}}{\ast}{\mid}u{\mid}^2)u$ with max(${\alpha}$, ${\frac{2d}{2d-1}}$) < ${\gamma}{\leq}2$, ${\gamma}$ < d. This equation is scaling-critical in ${\dot{H}}^{s_c}$, $s_c={\frac{{\gamma}-{\alpha}}{2}}$. We show that the solution scatters in $H^{s,1}$ for any s > $s_c$, where $H^{s,1}$ is a space of Sobolev type taking in angular regularity with norm defined by ${\parallel}{\varphi}{\parallel}_{H^{s,1}}={\parallel}{\varphi}{\parallel}_{H^s}+{\parallel}{\nabla}_{{\mathbb{S}}{\varphi}}{\parallel}_{H^s}$. For this purpose we use the recently developed Strichartz estimate which is $L^2$-averaged on the unit sphere ${\mathbb{S}}^{d-1}$ and utilize $U^p-V^p$ space argument.
The clinckers were obtained when a raw mixture consisted of limestone, slags and gypsum was burned at 134$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes, and 128$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes adding $CaF_2$ as a flux. The principal compounds of these clinkers were $C_3S_2$, $\beta-C_2S$, $C_1A_3{\bar{S}}$. To investigate hydration behavior, cements were made and hydrated at constant humidity cabinet (W/C=0.5 20$\pm 1^{\circ}C$). X-ray diffractometer, SEM, and conduction calorimeter were employed to examine the hydration behavior. The hydrates were mainly C-S-H, ettringite, $Ca(OH)_2$. By the hydration of $C_3S$ and $C_4A_3\bar{S}$, the needle-like ettringite filling the inner vacant spaces of the hardened body might contribute to the rapid-hardening and high-strength phenomena. Furthermore, the hardened body became stronger due to the hydration of $C_2S$ at later period. The addition of granulated blastfurnace slags have a potential to be a blended cement.

The aerial support air sculptures currently exhibited in indoor spaces are similar to simple ad balloons, using multiple rope strands. Users now want more advanced unfixed sculptures, and hope these will develop into buoyant sculptures that can maintain the attitudes that users want on their own. This study investigated an attitude control system for unfixed levitation sculptures that can levitate with no rope and continuously maintain a certain attitude at a height specified by the user. To facilitate levitation, the exterior part of the sculpture was made of lightweight fibers, and the interior part was filled with helium gas. The controller was composed of a microprocessor of the dsPIC30F line from microchip, gyro, acceleration, and earth magnetic field sensors, and a highly efficient brushless DC (BLDC) electric motor. The attitude and position control system requires scheduling considering the trajectories of the sculpture and the control system, because the roles of the overall components are more important than those of a single controller. Furthermore, the system was designed like a fusion system that is expanded and controlled as a total controller, because it is interconnected with various sensors. The attitude control system of buoyant sculptures was implemented in this study, such that it can actively cope with the position, direction, stopping, and time aspects. The system performance was then evaluated.
