The objectives of this study were to examine subject matter topics researched in agricultural extension over a ten year period, to analyze the research methods in detail, and to get some implications for the academic progress of agricultural extension. The data were collected from 197 journal articles published in the Korean Journal of Agricultural Extension from 1994 through 2003. Among them, research topics and methods were analyzed specifically on 123 articles categorized as agricultural extension. Data were summarized using frequencies and percentages. The conclusions acquired from this study were as follows. First of all, the research on agricultural extension had been increased since the 1970s, and it still has not decreased till now. Secondly, the research also has indicated the direction of development from a broad point of view by analyzing the reality at a general level. Therefore, much remains to be done for investigating the reality more scientifically and establishing the theories on the agricultural extension by explaining the reality with many theories from other studies. Thirdly, the study on the agricultural extension mostly has been led by the professors and the agricultural extension workers. Fourth, the study has been focused on macro sides such as extension philosophy, extension systems, extension structure, extension organization and so on. Fifth, the research also has been carried out on the agricultural extension workers and farmers. Finally, most of the research methods were library survey and survey research.

In this paper, we propose an efficient VP extension algorithm for ABR multipoint-to-point connection in ATM networks. The VC merging or VP merging is used to implement ABR multipoint-to-point connection. We use the VP merging technique. To solve the scarcity problem of VP resources, we propose an efficient VP extension algorithm. Since the proposed scheme follows the standard VPI/VCI format, it doesn’t require another table according to the VP extension. We compare the proposed scheme with VC merging algorithm. The result shows that the proposed method can provide fair bandwidth allocation among the sources in multipoint-to-point connection.

타일링을 통해 손실 압축된 데이터에 대해 점대칭 확장(point symmetric extension)을 사용하면 경계에서의 인공물(artifact)들을 줄일 수 있다 실제 확장 샘플 없이 경계 필터(boundary filter)를 사용하는 것과 같은 효과를 내는 방법을 리프팅(lifting)을 사용하여 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 사용된 필터는 PR 특성을 준수하고, 경계근처에서 어떠한 후처리 기술이나 이웃하는 타일들로부터의 추가정보 없이 경계 인공물들을 현저히 감소시켰다.

We point out a flaw in a result proved by Singh and Shah [Kyungpook Math. J., 57(2017), 537-543] which was recently published in Kyungpook Mathematical Journal. Further, we point out an error in another result of the same paper which we correct and obtain integral extension of the corrected form.

This study explores the possibility of innovative government's administrative services to the public by reflecting the social implications of 'Big Data'. In particular, the idea of OPP (Order Penetration Point) and SOP (Service Offering Point) as a management scheme for the extension of administrative processes into the resident's living space is proposed to overcome the inherent limits of e-government service quality, the root cause of which is believed in the segregation of two spaces - the resident's living space and the government's offices. Furthermore, a discussion is made on how to integrate sensor data from the resident's living space with traditional administrative database, which is a new challenge in the course of synchronizing the two spaces. The implications on the process extension are also provided centering around the shift from reactive to proactive services.

In [3], an extension of B. Brosowski s T-invariant Point Theorem is given where the linearity of the function and the convexity of the set are relaxed. In this paper, our main purpose is to generalize S. P. Singh's T-invariant Point Theorem to Approximation Theory.

In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for four mappings on fuzzy 2-metric spaces. Our result is an extension of results of S. H. Cho [2] to fuzzy 2-metric spaces. Also, it is a generalization of a result of S. Sharma [11].

An extension of the contraction mapping theorem is provided in a Banach space setting to approximate fixed points of operator equations. Our approach is justified by numerical examples where our results apply whereas the classical contraction mapping principle cannot.

A slight extension of the classical saddle point and the global optimality condition has been discussed relative to some algorithmic implications. It also involves an economic interpretation which shows satisfying, rather than optimizing, decision making behavior under bounded rationality.

In this paper we introduce the property (C), which is a cone metric extension of the usual metric property (E,A) and consider fixed point theorems for generalized contractive mappings under suitable conditions in cone metric spaces without normal cones.
