Many of the currently used PN code acquisition algorithms detect the phase of the incoming PN signal on the basis of ML estimation principle and utilize statistics grounded in taking inner products. As an extension of PN code acquisition algorithm using one auxiliary code introduced by Salih in 1996, we propose a more and optimal (hardware / time / space complexity wise) algorithm by using a vector space approach. We outline some important differences between our algorithm and that introduced by Salih and in the process point out some advantages of our algorithm.

In a series of papers [3, 4, 5], the author developed the generalized vector variational inequality with operator solutions (in short, GOVVI) by exploiting variational inequalities with operator solutions (in short, OVVI) due to Domokos and $Kolumb\acute{a}n$ [2]. In this note, we give an extension of the previous work [4] in the setting of Hausdorff locally convex spaces. To be more specific, we present an existence of solutions of (GVVI) under the weak pseudomonotonicity introduced in Yu and Yao [7] within the framework of (GOVVI).

The growth of semiconductor industry attracted to researchers like design, facility technique and making small size chip areas. But nowadays, cause of technology extension and oversupply and price down, yield improvement is the most important point on growth. This paper describes the computer mode]ing technique as the solutions to analyze the problem, to formalize the semiconductor manufacturing process and to build advanced manufacturing environments. The computer models are built referring an existing 8' wafer production line in Korea.

This research aims here to develop a certain extended double sampling plan, EDS, which is an extension of ordinary double sampling plan in the sense that the second-stage sampling effort and second-stage critical value are allowed to depend on the point at which the first-stage continuation region is traversed. For purpose of comparison, single sampling plan, optimal ordinary double sampling plan(ODS) and sequential probability ratio test are considered with the same overall error rates, respectively. It is observed that the EDS idea allows less sampling effort than the optimal ODS.

In this paper we show that the spectrum is continuous on the class of ${\star}$-paranormal operators but the approximate point spectrum generally is not continuous at ${\star}$-paranormal operators.

Via extension of the classical double-Newton method, we propose high-order family of two-point methods in this paper. Theoretical and computational properties of the proposed methods are fully investigated along with a main theorem describing methodology and convergence analysis. Typical numerical examples are thoroughly treated to verify the underlying theory.

In this paper, we introduce rough statistical convergence of difference double sequences in normed linear spaces as an extension of rough convergence. We define the set of rough statistical limit points of a difference double sequence and analyze the results with proofs.

Ginseng was stored at a temperature lower than the freezing point after a treatment of freezing point depressing agents to extend its freshness. Respiration rate at freezing point of ginseng, -1.7${\pm}$0.1$^{\circ}C$, was inhibited 92% and 97% compared with those stored at 5$^{\circ}C$or 20$^{\circ}C$ , respectively. Sorbitol solution chosen as a freezing point depressing agent lowered the freezing point of ginseng to about -3.0$^{\circ}C$. Ginsengs treated with the sorbitol solution and packaged with 0.06mm LDPE was stored at -2$^{\circ}C$ , and the quality change was then compared with ginsengs stored at 0$^{\circ}C$ and 5$^{\circ}C$. Weight loss of ginsengs stored at -2$^{\circ}C$ for 100days was 1.5%, which is about 2.6times less than those stored at 5$^{\circ}C$. However, there were no significant difference between the ginsengs stored at -2$^{\circ}C$ and at 0$^{\circ}C$(1.9%). Spoilage rate of the ginsengs was 100% after 50 days of storage at 5$^{\circ}C$ and 25% after 100days at 0$^{\circ}C$respectively. but that of ginsengs stored at -2$^{\circ}C$ was 13%, which was half than that of ginsengs stored at 0$^{\circ}C$. Firmness and amount of monoscaccharides in ginsengs were decreased during storage at 5 or 0$^{\circ}C$ but ginsengs stored at -2$^{\circ}C$ showed better firmness and an increase in monosaccharides such as fructose and glucose. From above, when ginseng treated with freezing pont depressing agents were stored at -2$^{\circ}C$, the shelf life was extended to 2 or 3 times longer than those that were stored at 5 or 0$^{\circ}C$, respectively.
