  • In this work we develop an equivalent circuit model of TCP(transformer coupled plasma) source and investigate matching characteristic. The developed circuit model includes transmission line, standard-type impedance matching network and displacement current in the plasma source. The impedance of TCP is calculated by previously developed program for various source parameters and dependance of components of matching impedance on the value of source impedance is investigated.

  • The equivalent source method is used to calculate the internal pressure field for an enclosure which can have arbitrary boundary conditions and may include internal objects which scatter the sound. Some of the equivalent positions are chosen to be the same as the first order images of the source inside the enclosure, some are positioned on a spherical surface some distance outside the enclosure. The normal velocity on the surfaces of the enclosure walls is evaluated at a larger number of positions than there are equivalent sources. The sum of the squared difference between this velocity and the expected is minimized by adjusting the strength of the equivalent sources. The convergence of this method is checked by evaluating the velocity error at a larger number of monitoring positions. Example results are presented for various numbers of sources and evaluation points. The results showed that in general the more equivalent sources increased the accuracy of the sound field predictions but the accuracy is not too much sensitive to the numbers of evaluation points.

  • The equivalent circuit of a three-leg, four-wire voltage source converter (VSC) is derived using switching functions. Simulations and experiments are conducted (i) to investigate the effects of the zero sequence on VSCs when a three-phase imbalance exists and (ii) to use the consistency of simulations and laboratory experiments to validate the equivalent circuit. The impact of a three-phase imbalance on the VSC has yet to be fully investigated because of the lack of an equivalent circuit to show rigorously how the zero sequence currents flow through the VSC.

  • A determining method of the $\Gamma$ type eqivalent circuit parameters of induction motor driven by inverter source is proposed in this paper. The no-load test by rated frequency (60 Hz) and a blocked rotor test by 25% of rated frequency (l5Hz) are performed with inverter source, and the DC resistance of the stator winding is measured. To determine the more accurate parameters, four simultaneous equations obtained from equivalent circuit of the no-load test and blocked rotor test are solved by using initial values which are evaluated from simplified equivalent circuits. The induction motor performances are computed by using these parameters and compared with measured values of the tested motor. Then it is found that the compared results show good agreement between them.

  • We propose a new channel reservation protocol which can reduce message delay by using a counter for detection of d source conflict in a WDM single-hop network with non-equivalent propagation delay. A source convict occurs when a source node has the right to transmit more than or equal to two messages simultaneously, which are transmitted using different wavelengths. In such a case, the source node has to newly obtain the right to transmit the message. In the proposed protocol, by using a source conflict counter a source node can detect a source conflict before a wave-length assignment is performed. Therefore, the source node can start a procedure to newly obtain the right to transmit the message which cannot be transmitted due to a source conflict. We analyse the throughput performance by taking the effect of a source conflict into account, and show that the approximate analysis and the computer simulated results are close. Also, from computer simulated results, we show that our proposed protocol can reduce mean message delay dramatically without degrading throughput performance as the offered load becomes large.

  • The simplified equivalent by using the short circuit impedance has been used for analyzing the prospective transient recovery voltage of the large power system. But it sometimes generates untorelable error in the rate-of-rise of TRV when using the Thevenin equivalent source. This paper provides the new equivalent by using the multi-port theory. The application of the new method to the sample system gives satisfactory accuracy compared with the short-circuit equivalent.

무기억 균일 신호원에 대한 수리 형태론적인 불림과 등가 시스템의 통계적 비교 (Statistical comparison of morphological dilation with its equivalent linear shift-invariant system:case of memoryless uniform soruces)

  • This paper presents a linear shift-invariant system euqivalent to morphological dilation for a memoryless uniform source in the sense of the power spectral density function, and comares it with dialtion. This equivalent LSI system is found through spectral decomposition and, for dilation and with windwo size L, it is shown to be a finite impulse response filter composed of L-1 delays, L multipliers and three adders. Th ecoefficients of the equivalent systems are tabulated. The comparisons of dilation and its equivalent LSI system show that probability density functions of the output sequences of the two systems are quite different. In particular, the probability density functon from dilation of an independent and identically distributed uniform source over the unit interval (0, 1) shows heavy probability in around 1, while that from the equivalent LSI system shows probability concentration around themean vlaue and symmetricity about it. This difference is due to the fact that dilation is a non-linear process while the equivalent system is linear and shift-ivariant. In the case that dikation is fabored over LSI filters in subjective perforance tests, one of the factors can be traced to this difference in the probability distribution.

  • 포텐셜 자료의 해석을 위해서는 상하향 연속을 이용하는 경우가 많다. 빠른 계산과 다양한 적용성 때문에 FFT(Fast Fourier Transform)을 이용한 상하향 연속을 주로 사용하는데, FFT를 적용하기 위해서는 격자망 형태로 얻어진 자료가 필요하다. 현장 중자력 자료는 보통 산발적(scattered)으로 얻어지기 때문에 FFT를 수행하기 위하여 격자망 자료로 변환하는 격자화(gridding) 과정에서 계산적인 오차가 발생한다. 반면 등가샘(equivalent source) 방법은 주어진 자료에 맞는 가상의 샘(source)들의 조합을 생성하고, 구해진 샘들의 조합으로부터 임의의 영역에서 필드값을 구하므로 격자화 과정이 필요없다. 이 연구의 목적은 등가샘 방법의 필요성을 보이고 여러 가지 등가샘 알고리즘을 비교분석하고 현장 자료에 사용하기 적합한 등가샘 방법들을 보여주는데 있다. 그림 1에서 보듯이 FFT를 사용한 상향 연속은 FFT 이론상 전 영역에 대한 적분이 필요하나 현장에서는 일부분의 자료만을 획득할 수 있으므로 상향 연속에서 정확한 자력값으로 연속을 수행하는 것은 불가능하다. 그러나 주어진 값들로 등가샘을 구성하여 상향 연속을수행한 결과는 상대적으로 보다 정확한 해에 도달한다. 또한 등가샘 방법을 이용한 연속의 장점은 그림 2와 같이 얻어진 자료의 높이가 서로 다른 자료를 주어진 높이로 연속을수행할 수 있다는 점이다. 또한 한번 등가샘들을 구성하면 이를 이용하여 격자화, 필터링 등을 해석을 위한 기초 자료처리에 적용할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, a source current controlled-scope of the Voltage source PWM converter is considered from one-phase equivalent circuit. And for the improvement of transient characteristics the state quantity of bridge current that is returned from it's error is controlled. With the result of that the bridge current is controlled, this state quantity is known that it is a equivalent braking resistor.

  • 본논문(本論文)에서는 정전유도(靜電誘導) 트랜지스터의 잡음원인분석(雜音原因分析)을 위하여 직류(直流) 및 잡음특성(雜音特性), 잔존성분(殘存成分), 입력용량등(入力容量等)의 정무화(定武化)에 필요(必要)한 잡음(雜音) 등가회로(等價回路)를 제안(提案)하였다. 가장 단순(單純)한 잡음(雜音) 등가회로(等價回路)는 정전유도(靜電誘導) 트랜지스터의 동작원리(動作原理)에 의한 모델이며, 이 모델에 의한 실측치(實測値)가 산탄(shot) 잡음(雜音)보다 작게 나타났다. 소스 저항(抵抗)이 삽입(揷入)된 등가회로(等價回路)에서는 소스 저항(抵抗)의 부귀환효과(負歸還效果)에 의하여 산탄 잡음(雜音)이 저감(低減)됨을 확인(確認)하였다. 정확(正確)한 잡음저감원인(雜音低減原因)을 분석(分析)하기 위하여 소스 저항(抵抗)과 드레인 저항(低抗)의 계산식(計算式)을 유도(誘導)하기 위한 등가회로(等價回路)를 제안(提案)하였다. 등가회로(等價回路) 확인(確認) 실험(實驗)에서는 잔존성분(殘存成分)에 대한 신호원저항(信號源抵抗)과 출력부하저항(出力負荷抵抗)의 영향(影響)은 작으며, 잔존성분(殘存成分)은 입력환산등가잡음저항(入力換算等價雜音抵抗)으로 나타낼 수 있다. 또한, 입력용량(入力容量)은 부하저항(負荷抵抗)이 $0{\Omega}$일 때 13.6pF이며, 게이트 배선등(配線等) 정전유도(靜電誘導) 트랜지스터 동작(動作)에 직접(直接) 관여(關與)하지 않는 용량(容量)은 10pF정도(程度)이다.
