DEA와 BSC 기법을 이용한 조직 효율성 비교에 대한 연구 (A Combined DEA-BSC methodology for evaluating organizational efficiency)

  • The balanced scorecard(BSC) overcomes the limit of traditional financial statement that focuses on only financial performance. BSC is widely used in government and industry because of the clear representation of the relationship and logic between the key performance indicators(KPI) of 4 perspectives - financial, customer, internal process, and loaming and growth. However, traditional BSC does not consider evaluating the difference between the results measured by BSC. By using relatively small number of inputs and outputs In comparing decision-making units, data envelopment analysis(DEA) can aggregate multiple performance measures. In this research, we propose a methodology named CDB(Combined DEA and BSC) to evaluate the performance of organization considering financial and non-financial perspectives. CDB uses KPI of cause-and-effect relationship on BSC as inputs and outputs of DEA method. In addition, this research proposes a method of converting the KPI of BSC to the input and output variables of DEA, and enhancing discrimination power using the limit number of variables. We illustrate the methodology by giving an example of evaluating aquisition-unit efficiency in a supply chain.

  • Owing to the current economic downturn, one of the most important goals of the organizations who are actively involved in Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) is the cost efficiency. We focus on supplier firm's domain understanding to make the cost efficiency; therefore, we examine how the disadvantages from lower domain knowledges affect outsourcing performance moderated by outsourcing ratio and knowledge change environments. That is, if clients can endure disadvantage from service providers' lower domain knowledge, they can achieve cost efficiency by choosing lower domain knowledge suppliers with less expensive cost. To examine performance gap depending on the environments, we applied 'A Learning Model of IT Outsourcing' which is suggested by previous literature. As a result, we suggest five strategies for clients to contract with suppliers which have lower domain knowledge: (1) Prepare the strategy to endure disadvantages from the early stage. (2) Make the strategy depending on outsourcing ratio. (3) Knowledge transfer between organizations is important. (4) Make a short-term contract if they do not have good environments for organizational learning. (5) Client's knowledge change environments are more important than those of supplier's. Finally, we offer various implications for clients and suppliers in IT outsourcing.

항공교통관제사의 감정통제가 직무몰입과 조직충성도에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Air Traffic Controllers' Emotional Regulation to Their Job Involvement and Organizational Loyalty)

  • Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) are also essential to the efficiency of airports and the airline industry. With the increasing volume of traffic, managing flights is a complex and sometimes very stressful job. ATC is using radar and other technology to track planes 'en route' between airports and keep in touch with pilots. Alternatively, ATCs are liaising with the planes on approach. However, ATC's working condition is getting more stressful, as the volume of air traffic increases. Thus this paper tried to research cognitive emotional regulation, job satisfaction, and job involvement and organizational committment of ATCs under the stressful work condition, taking care of safety of a couple of hundreds passengers per plane. Using CERQ survey sheet (Cognitive Emotional Regulation Questionnaire), it was found out that positive thinking and acceptance of self-blame have a significant impact on job satisfaction, work absorption and organizational Loyalty.

  • Member's perception toward organizational climate is an concept but generally it has been used in the meaning of Organizational climate by members, in an attempt to give an idea of what kind of meaning an organization can have from a psychological point of view to its members. This thesis insists Individual attitudes in the organization be changed characteristics of organization and individual who percepts the organization, one the basis of Organization climate effects individual attitudes directly and indirectly, and objective of the study is to verify the dependence of cause and effect between organization climate and job satisfaction and performance with manufacturing firms within Gumi National Industrial Complex. As a result, to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of the enterprise, firstly, we have to set an appropriate objectives within the organization, Secondly, the manager should recognize the controversial issue be solved in public. Lastly, the members should be inspired loyalty into their organization.

세무공무원이 지각하는 조직공정성이 임파워먼트와 종업원노력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Organizational Fairness Perceived by Revenue Officers on Empowerment and Employee Efforts)

  • 본 연구는 세무공무원들의 조직공정성에 대한 인식이 임파워먼트와 종업원노력에 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 직무공정성 중 절차공정성을 제외한 분배공정성과 상호작용공정성은 임파워먼트에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 임파워먼트는 종업원노력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 세무공무원들이 업무수행과정에서 인식하는 조직공정성이 높을수록 임파워먼트가 높으며, 임파워먼트가 높을수록 종업원노력수준이 높아져 과세업무수행의 효율성을 높일 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 임파워먼트를 실시하여 종업원이 노력할 수 있는 권한이 하부로 이양되는 것은 세무조직관리자가 부하직원의 잠재력을 개발하도록 인식하고 실행하는 것이므로 세무조직에서 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

Effective Internal Marketing Based on Cooperation Perception and Relational Diversity

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine under what conditions suggestion programs conducted by organizations actually increase individual perception of their work effectiveness. Specifically, this study looks into the effects of cooperation perception and relational demography of employee on work effectiveness of suggestion programs. It does this by focusing on the interaction effect of organizational commitment. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected from 1,872 participants who took part in the suggestion program of HCCP 6th DATA. This data was subjected to multiple regression analysis. Results: a) higher employee cooperation perception enhances work effectiveness of suggestion program, but relational difference of knowledge diversity between team members has no effect on work efficiency; b) Positive effect of cooperation perception, and difference in education level on work effectiveness become greater as commitment increases. However, organizational commitment decreases the positive effect of difference in organizational tenure on work effectiveness by suggestion program. Conclusion: The results point to the importance of broadening the current conceptual models of employee work effectiveness of suggestion program to include relational demography, as well as the utility of conducting additional cross-level research on suggestion programs.

가족사업기관의 조직특성 및 종사자특성이 사업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Organizational Characteristics and Workers Characteristics of Family Business Organizations on Business Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the organizational characteristic and workers characteristics of Family Business Organization on its Business Performance. The subjects of this study were workers of healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. A survey was conducted from July 30th to September 30th. A total 372 materials were used for analysis of final data and SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) WIN 18.0 program was employed in analyzing the collected data. As the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristics and culture and characteristics of workers on business performance through hierarchical regression analysis, higher performance was achieved when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, and when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, having enough information and external resources at the center, and when the job satisfaction of workers are high, and when organizational culture is more hierarchical. There were difference in the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristic and culture and characteristic of workers on business performance. The level of service and business value of Family Service Organization was higher when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, hierarchical culture and agreement culture, and when operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, having enough information and external resources at the center, and the administrative skills of workers are higher. Business volume is increased when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, and when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of hierarchical culture and agreement culture, having enough external resources at the center, and the practicing ability of workers are higher. When it comes to business efficiency, it is increased when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of developed culture and the job satisfaction of workers are high, having enough external and financial resources at the center. Therefore we will need to enhance business performance through improved management and job satisfaction of employees in organizational culture.

리더십, 조직문화와 조직몰입과의 관계 (Interrelationship between leadership, Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지조직의 리더십에 대한 인식정도, 사회복지조직의 조직문화가 종사자의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 사회복지시설에 종사하고 있는 사회복지사로서 총 456부가 분석에 사용되었다. 변혁적 리더십, 교환적 리더십 등 리더십 유형, 조직문화를 독립변인으로 종사자의 조직몰입과의 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 리더십 유형, 조직문화가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석과 조직몰입에 미치는 직 간접 효과를 파악하기 위하여 경로분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 조직몰입에 대한 영향을 미치는 총 효과를 살펴보면, 변혁적 리더십이 가장 많은 영향을 미치며, 조직의 문화가 집단문화, 교환적 리더십, 발전문화 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 종사자의 조직몰입을 향상시키기 위해서는 사회복지조직의 리더가 변혁적 리더십을 통한 종사자의 자발적 참여와 업무능률을 향상시켜야 하며, 이러한 리더십 유형은 조직의 문화가 집단문화를 형성할 수 있도록 하여 종사자의 조직몰입을 향상시켜야 한다는 결과를 보이고 있다.

공공도서관의 조직 진단 및 운영 개선을 위한 조직모델 설계 연구 - 김해시 공공도서관을 중심으로 - (A Study on Organizational Model Design for Organization Diagnosis and Operation Improvement of Public Libraries: The Case of Gimhae Public Library)

  • 본 연구는 김해시 공공도서관 조직의 진단 및 분석을 통해 김해시 공공도서관의 운영 개선을 도모하기 위한 조직 모델을 설계할 목적으로 추진되었다. 이를 위해 문헌연구, 사례조사, FGI 조사 등의 연구방법을 통해 김해시 공공도서관의 조직 모델을 설계하고 조직 재편에 따른 단위도서관별 인력을 재구성하여 제안하였다. 조직 모델은 최종적으로 관련업무 통합 측면 조직, 정책기능 강화 측면 조직, 행정 효율성 강화 측면 조직의 3가지 대안을 설계하였다. 그리고 거시적 및 미시적 접근을 바탕으로 김해시 공공도서관의 필요 인력을 산출한 결과, '벤치마킹 대상 지자체 비교' 방법으로 산출된 필요인원을 가장 실증적인 방안이라고 판단하고 단위도서관별 적정인원으로 구성하였다.

중소 ICT건설기업 조직원의 셀프리더십이 심리적 임파워먼트 통하여 조직시민행동과 조직신뢰에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Employee's Self Leadership of Construction Company on Organization Citizenship Behaviour and Organizational Trust through Psychology Empowerment)

  • This study aims to explore the casual relation between construction company employees' Self-Leadership and two variables: Organization Citizenship Behaviour and Organizational Trust through Psychology Empowerment. To explain in details, this study examines how the independent variable, Self Leadership, with its behavior-focused, natural reward and constructive thought pattern strategies, affects the dependent variable, Organization Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Trust through the intervening variable, Psychology Empowerment. A survey was conducted on current employees of construction companies in metropolitan areas to empirically examine the research model. The result of study hypothesis on Self-Leadership is as follows; first, Self-Leadership showed a positive effect on Psychology Empowerment, Organization Citizenship Behaviour and Organizational Trust. Second, Psychology Empowerment showed a positive effect on Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Third, Psychology Empowerment showed a positive effect on Organizational Trust. The capacity of individuals is critical when it comes to competitiveness of construction companies. When employees willingly participate in building trust within the company, the work place will become more and more constructive; based on trust, efficiency will increase because people from different processes can work together and performance will also improve even when project managers are absent because others could help their role instead, thus driving more efficient human resource management to the company. To conclude, a company's vision can be spread wide and far when their employees engage themselves in Learning Organization with Self Leadership. They will also be satisfied with their work through improving interpersonal relationship at work.
