저체중 또는 과체중 청소년에서 캠프 프로그램을 이용한 영양 교육효과에 관한 연구 (The Evaluation of a Nutrition Education Camp Program for Overweight and Underweight Adolescents)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education program developed for nutritionally imbalanced adolescents. A summer nutrition camp was held for 23 overweight and 16 underweight subjects. Its effectiveness with regard to was evaluated at the end of the camp and 6 months later. Nutrition knowledge, nutritional attitude, food behavior, nutrient intake, exercise habit and ideal body figures desired by the subjects. The results showed significantly higher nutrition knowledge scores at the end of the camp as compared to those obtained prior to the camp program, and these scores were maintained for at least six months. Nutrition attitude scores also improved after the education program, and these improved scores also lasted for 6 months. However, the food behavior scores measured 6 months after the education program were not significantly different from those obtained prior to the camp. Also, the exorcist habit, the ideal body figures and the body figures desired by the subjects remained unchanged. When nutrient intakes of subjects were assessed before the program and 6 months later, the mean daily vitamin C intake was significantly increased after the education program. Also, the intake of iron from plant food sources increased in the overweight subjects, while less iron from animal source were consumed by the underweight subjects. Both groups tended to consume more vegetables and fruits 6 months after the education program which may have contribute to the higher vitamin C and plant-based iron intakes. These results indicate that a 4-day nutrition education camp program sustained changes in nutrition knowledge and nutrition attitude for 6 months. The increased intake of vegetables and fruits was also achieved through this education program. However, changes in dietary behavior in adolescents may require repeated education. 온라인 영재교육 프로그램에서 학습자 배경변인과 특성에 따른 효과성 인식과 만족도 차이 분석 (Analysis of The Perception of Effectiveness and Satisfaction According to Learners' Background Variables and Characteristics in Online Gifted Education Program)

  • 본 연구에서는 온라인영재교육 수강생의 성별, 학교급, 수강과목, 인터넷 수업에 자기효능감, 자기주도학습능력에 따른 프로그램 효과성 인식과 만족도 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 K 영재교육원 온라인 영재교육 과정을 이수한 중학교 1학년~고등학교 2학년 학생 630명(남학생 402명, 여학생 228명)이 설문에 참여하였다. 온라인 영재교육 프로그램 효과성 인식과 만족도를 측정하기 위해 기존의 사이버가정학습 효과성 연구에 사용되었던 연구도구를 수정, 보완하였고, 인구배경학적 특성을 포함하여 총 48문항이 제시되었다. 온라인 영재교육 프로그램의 효과성 인식에 영향을 미치는 배경변인을 분석하기 위해 배경변인에 따라 두 독립표본 t검증 또는 일원분산분석을 사용하였다. 또한, 온라인 영재교육 프로그램의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 배경변인을 분석하기 위해 다변량 분산분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 온라인 영재교육 프로그램의 효과성 인식은 전반적으로 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 온라인 영재교육 프로그램에 대한 만족도에 대해서도 대체로 만족하는 수준이었고, 세부적으로 살펴보면 온라인 영재교육 프로그램에 대한 체제만족도가 상호작용만족도보다는 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 온라인 영재교육 프로그램의 효과성 인식과 만족도에 공통적으로 영향을 미치는 배경변인은 학교급, 인터넷수업에 대한 자기효능감, 자기주도학습능력으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 온라인 영재교육을 위해 필요한 콘텐츠 및 프로그램 요소를 제안하였다.

다문화교육 프로그램의 효과성 검증 (Testing the Effectiveness of Multicultural Education Program)

  • 본 연구는 이주문화에 대한 상호문화적응과 통합의 관점에서 대학생들의 다문화 태도변화를 위한 다문화교육프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 평가하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로 유사실험전후비교 조사설계의 방법을 사용하였으며, 실험집단(45명)과 통제집단(47명)에서 나타나는 다문화태도의 차이를 분석하였으며, 프로그램 효과성의 지속성 여부를 분석하기 위하여 추후조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 다문화교육 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 사전-사후 차이는 통제집단에 비해 유의미한 것으로 나타났으며(t=4.264, p=.000) 그리고 사전-추후 차이 역시 두 집단 간에 유의미하게 차이가 있음(t=2.466, p=.016)을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 통제집단의 경우 사전-사후-추후점수간에 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 하여, 향후 우리사회가 지향해야 할 다문화교육의 전개 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

웹기반 복막투석환자 간호 교육프로그램 개발 및 효과에 관한 연구

  • Development and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of a Web-Based Learning System Program for Nursing Education on Peritoneal Dialysis Ji-Soo Yoo(Professor, College of Nursing, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea) Seong-Mi Moon(Doctoral Candidate, College of Nursing, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea) The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing education program using a web-based learning system to teach peritoneal dialysis and to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The program was developed in two steps. The first step was to develop the content using CVI, and the second was to program it using HTML. The program which was developed was evaluated with 50 nurses of whom 48 responded to the questionnaire. The results are as follows: Of the subjects, 85.4% responded that they were satisfied with this web-based learning system and 87.5% stated that they would recommend this system to nurses who are in other nursing education programs. Of the educational material charac- teristics, the item that the subjects evaluated as most valuable was "accuracy of the content". For system related charact- eristics, the item to which the subjects gave the most positive response was "clarity of the system tool marking" (81.3%). In conclusion, it was verified that a web-based learning system is an effective and satisfactory method for nursing education.

노인 「생명충전기」을 활용한 자살예방교육의 효과성 검증 연구 (A Study to Verify the Effectiveness of Suicide Prevention Education Using "Life Charger" for the Elderly)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of suicide prevention education using the "Life Charger" program for older adults. Methods: This study conducted the "Life Charger"suicide prevention education with 95 older adults in the experimental group. Participants were recruited from a senior welfare center and a senior citizen center in D metropolitan city, and their attitudes toward suicide and sense of competence in providing help before and after the education were investigated. While no measures were taken for the control group, their attitudes toward suicide and help-giving competence were surveyed during the same period. Statistics were analyzed using SPSS 23.0, demographic variables of the experimental and control groups were calculated as percentiles, and Chi-square analysis and paired-sample t-test were performed to verify the homogeneity of the experimental and control groups. Results: To verify the effectiveness of the "Life Charger"suicide prevention education, the effectiveness of attitude toward suicide before and after the education was verified. The experimental group showed a significantly higher level (t=-6.34, p<.000). Their competence in providing help was also at a significantly higher level (t=-10.20, p<.000). Upon verifying the effectiveness of the program, the experimental group's attitude toward suicide was found to be significantly higher; however, the control group showed no change in attitude toward suicide and competence in providing help. Conclusion: This study verified that the "Life Charger"suicide prevention education for older adults was effective in increasing attitudes toward suicide and sense of competence in providing help. To increase the effectiveness of suicide prevention education for older adults, follow-up research should determine whether there are any actual changes after the training, and attitudes toward suicide and help-providing competence should be increase d through universal and repetitive education to prevent suicide among older adults.

부모교육 프로그램 (Development of Parent Education Program)

  • An education program for parents has been developed in order to meet the needs of those who have problems in rearing their children. The program has been applied two times to a middle size group of parents who live in the urban and the country. The effectiveness of the program has been evaluated by taking pre- and post-tests. The test results suggest that the program has been effective in improving the parent's knowledge on all of the following areas, such as, developmental characteristics, individual traits, learning attitudes cultivation, sex education, locus of self control, parenting behavior and communication skills.

생성형 인공지능을 활용한 사례 기반 간호 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of a case-based nursing education program using generative artificial intelligence)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop a case-based nursing education program using generative artificial intelligence and to assess its usability and applicability in nursing curriculums. Methods: The program was developed by following the five steps of the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A panel of five nursing professors served as experts to implement and evaluate the program. Results: Utilizing ChatGPT, six program modules were designed and developed based on experiential learning theory. The experts' evaluations confirmed that the program was suitable for case-based learning, highly usable, and applicable to nursing education. Conclusion: Generative artificial intelligence was identified as a valuable tool for enhancing the effectiveness of case-based learning. This study provides insights and future directions for integrating generative artificial intelligence into nursing education. Further research should be attempted to implement and evaluate this program with nursing students.

경기도 농촌형 초등학교 어린이 대상 건강교육 프로그램의 효과 평가 (Effects of a Health Education Program for Elementary School Children in Gyeonggi-do Rural Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to implement and evaluate the health education program for elementary school children. The program consisted of nutritional education and physical exercise. The subjects composed of 89 school children, first through sixth grade (n = 100), who had completed ten weeks of health education program from April through July 2010. Pre-post intervention design was used to evaluate the program effectiveness. After completing health education program, the number of overweight subjects decreased (boys 13 to 11 and girls 11 to 9) and the number of obese subjects decreased from 5 to 4 for boys and 4 to 2 for girls The number of sit-ups significantly increased in both 1-2 grade girls and 3-4 grade girls. Backward trunk extension of 1-2 grade girls also significantly increased (p < 0.05). The level of serum total cholesterol decreased from 171.8 mg/dL to 153.5 mg/dL (p < 0.001). Hypercholesterolemia (above 239 mg/dL), hyperLDLcholesterolemia (above 175 mg/dL) and low level hemoglobin subjects changed to normal levels. Total score of nutrition knowledge increased from 5.9 to 6.1 (p < 0.05), percentage of perception answers increased significantly in 5 out of 10 items and percentage of correct answers increased significantly in 6 out of 10 items (p < 0.05). Three food habits improved, including, "having breakfast", "having diverse foods" and "having vegetables per meal" (p < 0.05). Two self-efficacy items improved significantly, including, "having meals slowly", "having exercise instead of watching TV or computer" (p < 0.05). These results suggest that health education program for elementary school children including nutritional education and physical exercise may be effective to improve their anthropometric characteristics, physical fitness, hyperlipidemia, nutrition knowledge, food habits and self-efficacy.

Development and Application of Competency-based Elementary School Teacher Training Program for Maker Education

  • 본 연구에서는 DACUM 기반의 SCID(Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development) 절차 모형의 단계에 따라 메이커 교육을 위한 역량 기반의 초등교사 연수 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. DACUM 기반의 SCID(Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development) 절차 모형의 단계에 따라 메이커 교육 연수 프로그램의 교육 목표, 내용, 대상, 시간, 방법, 선수 과목 등을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 역량 기반 연수 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 프로그램을 적용하여 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하였다. 개발된 연수 프로그램을 적용하고 효과성을 평가한 결과, 전반적으로 긍정적인 결과가 나타난 것으로 확인되었다. 앞으로 본 연수 프로그램이 메이커 교육에서 초등학교 교사의 역량 강화에 큰 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

건강증진교육을 위한 K-WIFY 모형의 적용 (Assessment of the Health Promotion Education Effectiveness through K-WIFY Model)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of K-WIFY model that was a participatory health education program. Based on WIFY, this study developed K-WIFY that was only focused on health related issues rather than all broad ranges of life issues. This study evaluated changes in health related recognition, self-efficacy, self-esteem, social support, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, and situational barriers of the subjects after participating the program. Methods: During from March 16 to April 1, 2004, 216 study subjects of university students were subjected to a quantitative survey and 187 subjects of the total subjects were exposed to qualitative survey. Results: The results were as follows: 1. Health related perceptions were statistically different after taking participatory a health education program using K-WIFY. The amount of improvement was 6.36. 2. After participatory health promotion education using K-WIFY, self-efficacy(p=.029), self-esteem(p=.019) and perceived benefits(p=.031) were statistically higher than before. Conclusions: In conclusion, this study verified the effectiveness of participatory health education promotion using K-WIFY. We recommend K-WIFY to national and regional health promotion plans and health promotion education for university students.
