Korean Government conducted "a research for establishing the integrated construction information classification system" and suggested the classification system for the first and second level in terms of the complexity in May, 2001. The Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced a standard of the integrated construction information classification system using previous research in August, 2001. Since 2005, many BTL projects have been constructed for the educational facility. However, there is mixed official standard of the system for the educational facility. Moreover, it is difficult for the SPC to use the current "integrated construction information classification system", since the item in the educational facility cannot be easily located in the current system. Thus, this research suggests an efficient maintenance system for the educational facility. Two classification systems, space-oriented and element-oriented systems, are suggested to increase efficiency of the classification system.

This study examined the relationship between the demographic profiles of 260 staff nurses in the SPC Health Care Ministry Hospitals and their Transcultural Self-Efficacy (TSE) level on the Cognitive, Practical and Affective dimensions. To obtain the result, among the nine (9) demographic profile items, three (3) common positive predictors were considered, namely, 1) Educational attainment level; 2) Age; and 3) Willingness to work abroad in all three dimensions. While in the Practical and Affective dimensions, the number of years employed were a common negative predictor and in the Affective dimension, Gender of participants was added as the positive predictor. Therefore, there are some significant demographic characteristics of respondents influence to the transcultural self-efficacy. Further, based on the results of this diagnostic study, the researcher designed the One (1) year Cultural Competence Training Program for staff nurses. For future research, the researcher recommended to conduct a further study that will evaluate the effectiveness of the educational intervention by approaching a longitudinal study form administering the test and retest of TSET.

This study researched the domestic School Library Standards(SLS), and analyzed specificities and differences by criteria. The Ministry of Education, Science & Technology have enacted the School Library Promotion Law(SLPL) supporting school library. SLPL and SLS could not reflect a change of school library environments in recent years. In particular, these standards have the problems with budget assignment, educational services, information resources, and human resources. Therefore, this study suggested a new model of SLS and set up some definite criteria for school library management.

Recently, the Ministry of Education is striving to move education and school libraries toward the information age and to create an atmosphere open education. School libraries need to be furnished with lots of useful materials for the curriculum of open education. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Nonprofit organizations such as school libraries should adopt the concepts and techniques of marketing to solve the problems for the rational management of the system. 2. Marketing techniques can be adopted in the areas such as collection development, service fee, selection of the place of library, advertising, better library user organization etc. 3. School libraries should be total educational information centers to realize educational goal and the curricular. 4. Procedures for marketing strategies for school libraries are embodied in mission statement, environmental analysis, marketing audit, marketing mix, marketing segmentation, evaluation methods etc. 5. The 4 "Ps", product, price, place, promotion make up the marketing mix for school libraries.libraries.

Kindergarten children are engaged in the age of physical immaturity as well as the rapid growth. The indoor air contaminants that are proved to affect even the full grown adults are obvious to have no little influence to immature small children in a growth period. In May 2004, for the multi purpose facilities and newly constructed apartments, the Ministry of Environment announced "Indoor Air Quality Control Law for the Multi Purpose Facility," which made the interests to be focused in the urgent understanding of current condition and preparation of measures about the indoor air pollution. In Dec 2005, the law was revised to obligatorily notify the amount of Formaldehyde and Volatile Organic Compounds in the case of newly constructed apartments with more than 100 houses. However, since the kindergarten takes none of the classifications, even the current condition is not grasped although it is directly connected to the health of growing children. Therefore, the study aims to analyze indoor air pollution of one selected kindergarten in Incheon city.

The axiomatic geometry unit of the space figure in Mathematics II in the expository book of high school math curriculum (published by Ministry of Education, June 20, 1995) suggests some teaching points to bear in mind, so as not to make use of the system of axiom. However, it doesn't take the axiom about the space geometry as a starting point of argument, and so many textbooks can be found, in which intuitively true propositions are proved acceptable by the logical ambiguous statements. Thus, this study analyzes the contents of axiomatic geometry in high school math II textbooks and draws their problems. As an alternative improvement, 3 kinds of axiom on the space geometry and some important propositions, which are basic to proofs of proposition, will be presented here in this paper.

In mid 1980s, open education arrived in Korea. It was influenced by the educational reforms implemented in American primary schools. Currently, the Ministry of Education is appealing to teachers for their active involvement in educational reform by using open education methodology. Often teachers in Korea complain that they do not know what to do or how to change in order to practice the open education. It is time to review the state of open education in Korea and the United States. This paper contains the following segments: 0) Introduction, 1) Beginning of open education, 2) A brief history of open education in Korea, 3) The current status of open education in the United States, 4) A glance at open mathematics classroom in Korea, 5) Lessons from the review, and 6) Conclusion.

Purpose: This study aims to explore whether health promoting schools (HPS) affect school climate. The study is the first research that investigates the effects of Korean HPS on school climate. Methods: The study examined 2,791 students who participated in a study on HPS effectiveness conducted by MOE (The Ministry of Education) in 2014. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and ttest using SPSS/WINdow 22.0. Results: There was a significant difference between the HPS and the comparison schools in terms of three school climate criteria ' School atmosphere', 'Teacherstudent relationship', and 'Peer relationship'. Conclusion: The study's result that Korean HPS has positive effects on school climate indicates a need to expand HPS in Korea's education sector.

This analysis of the children's books used in kindergarten classroom activities focused on educational meanings of the books. The analysis included books used in 8 kindergartens in 1999. Finding were that 76.6% of books were published in the 1990s; 60.7% of the lines per page were over 5 lines; only 55 of 542 books were recommended as good books by public institutions; half of the books provided factual knowledges or informations; Korean books included more realistic than fantastic fiction while the opposite was true of foreign books; in Korean books, male characters appeared far more often than females; 70.1% of the themes of the books were related to the ten themes of life suggested by the Ministry of Education; and 44.8% of the contents included moral values while only 17.5% of those included adventure, hobbies or pastimes.
