This study tried to analyze the social perception of news coverage on inclusive education by using big data analysis techniques. News articles were collected according to the 5-year policy period for the development of special education, and news big data was analyzed. As a result, the frequency of media reports during the five-year policy period of special education development from 1998 in the first year to 2022 in the fifth year was steadily increased. During this period, the top topic words in news coverage changed from words conceptualizing simple definitions to words expressing the active will of students with disabilities for the actual right to education. In addition, as a result of emotional analysis of the overall keywords in the inclusive education news coverage, it was found that the positive word ratio was high. Through this study, it can be seen that interest in news coverage on inclusive education is increasing quantitatively in accordance with changes in special education policies, and the demand for inclusive education is being concreted in the direction of guaranteeing the actual right to education of students with disabilities.

Big data is gradually expanding in diverse fields, with changing the data-related legislation. Moreover it would be interest in big data education. However, it requires a high level of knowledge and skills in order to utilize Big Data and it takes a long time for education spends a lot of money for training. We study that in order to define Universal Big Data used to the industrial field in a wide range. As a result, we make the paradigm for Big Data education for college students. We survey to the professional the Big Data definition and the Big Data perception. According to the survey, the Big Data related-professional recognize that is a wider definition than Computer Science Big Data is. Also they recognize that the Big Data Processing dose not be required Big Data Processing Frameworks or High Performance Computers. This means that in order to educate Big Data, it is necessary to focus on the analysis methods and application methods of Universal Big Data rather than computer science (Engineering) knowledge and skills. Based on the our research, we propose the Universal Big Data education on the new paradigm.

This study is a case study of artificial intelligence education subjects in the graduate school of education. The main educational contents consisted of understanding and practice of machine learning, data analysis, actual artificial intelligence using Entries, artificial intelligence and physical computing. As a result of the survey on the educational effect after the application of the curriculum, it was found that the students preferred the use of the Entry AI block and the use of the Blacksmith board as a physical computing tool as the priority applied to the elementary education field. In addition, the data analysis area is effective in linking math data and graph education. As a physical computing tool, Husky Lens is useful for scalability by using image processing functions for self-driving car maker education. Suggestions for desirable AI education include training courses by level and reinforcement of data collection and analysis education.

The need for artificial intelligence education has emerged, and countries around the world are announcing artificial intelligence strategies. Artificial intelligence education is reflected in the main points of the 2022 revised curriculum general published in Korea. Along with this interest, programs related to artificial intelligence education are being developed, but it is difficult to find artificial intelligence programs for lower grades of elementary school. This study aims to develop a data collection education program for the lower grades of elementary school through a series of analysis-design-development-application-evaluation processes and apply it to first-grade elementary school students to verify its effectiveness. Through the developed program, it is expected that students will be able to understand and feel interested in artificial intelligence, and develop an attitude of collecting data in their daily lives through the process of searching for various types of data in their daily lives.
Data collection is crucial to the process of statistical problem solving since it influences the quality of statistical data. However, there is little instruction on data collection in the Korean mathematics curriculum. In this study, we examined how the data were collected and how the data collection method was taught in the Korean mathematics textbooks for 3rd and 4th grades. As a result, the data appeared in these textbooks were collected by using a variety of methods, including surveys, experiments, observations, and secondary data collections. There were not enough instructions on experiments and observations, compared to surveys and secondary data collection. Additionally, as each textbook works with a distinct contents while teaching data collection, it is expected that there would be variations in the levels that students learn in relation to data collection. Based on these findings, we draw some discussion points to determine how to improve the mathematics curriculum in order to effectively teach data collection in the elementary school.
Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the educational needs of interns and residents in Korean medicine as the first step in developing an education program to improve their research competencies. Methods: A mixed-method design, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, was used to investigate the educational needs for research competencies among interns and residents working in Korean medicine hospitals nationwide. Data were collected through online surveys and online focus group discussions (FGDs), and processed using descriptive statistical analysis and thematic analysis. The study results were derived by integrating survey data and FGD outcomes. Results: In total, 209 interns and residents participated in the survey, and 11 individuals participated in two rounds of FGDs. The majority of participants felt a lack of systematic education in research and academic writing in postgraduate medical education and highlighted the need for nationally accessible education due to significant disparities in the educational environment across hospitals and specialties. The primary barrier to learning research and academic writing identified by learners was the lack of knowledge, leading to time constraints. Improving learners' research competencies, relationship building, autonomy, and motivation through a support system was deemed crucial. The study also identified diverse learner types and preferred educational topics, indicating a demand for learner-centered education and coaching. Conclusion: This study provides foundational data for designing and developing a program on education on research competencies for interns and residents in Korean medicine and suggests the need for initiatives to strengthen these competencies.
Objectives : This study was done to evaluate the reliability of education and occupational class between using the health survey and the death certificate data. Methods : The 1998 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) was conducted on a cross-sectional probability sample of South Korean households, and it contained unique 13-digit personal identification numbers that were linked to the data on mortality from the Korean National Statistical Office. The data from 263 deaths were used to estimate the agreement rates and the Kappa indices of the education and occupational class between using the NHANES data and the death certificate data. Results : The simple and weighted Kappa indices for education were 0.60 (95% CI=0.53-0.68) and 0.73 (95% CI=0.67-0.79) respectively, if the educational level was grouped into five categories: no-formal-education, elementary-school, middle-school, high-school and college or over. The overall agreement rate was 71.9% for these educational groups. The magnitude of reliability, as measured by the overall agreement rates and Kappa indices, tended to increase with a decrease in the educational class. The number of non-educated people with using the death certificate data was smaller than that with using the NHANES data. For the occupational class (manual workers, non-manual workers and others), the Kappa index was 0.40 (95% CI=0.30-0.51), which was relatively lower than that for the educational class. Compared with the NHANES, the number of non-manual workers for the deceased who were aged 30-64 tended to be increased (8 to 12) when using the death certificate data, whereas the number of manual workers tended to be decreased (59 to 41). Conclusions : The socioeconomic inequalities in the mortality rates that were based on the previous unlinked studies in South Korea were not due to a numerator/denominator bias. The mortality rates for the manual workers and the no-education groups might have been underestimated.
Much of our lives are closely related to artificial intelligence, and society is changing more rapidly. Reflecting this era, the need for artificial intelligence education has emerged and various learning methods have been proposed, but guidance on artificial intelligence teaching and learning activities for lower grades elementary school students is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, the data collection education program for the lower grades of elementary school was developed based on the contents standards of the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity. Focusing on the principles of artificial intelligence and the detailed data area of the utilization area, the focus was on expressing numbers and letters in various ways, such as colors and pictures, and finding various types of data in life to learn the principles of artificial intelligence. Through this program, it is expected that lower-grade elementary school students will be able to understand the importance of data collection in artificial intelligence through the process of knowing about data and collecting sound, picture, and text data.
This study is a case study of artificial intelligence education subjects in the graduate school of education. The main educational contents consisted of understanding and practice of machine learning, data analysis, actual artificial intelligence using Entries, artificial intelligence and physical computing.
