  • In the postal delivery service, both the standardization of business process and the workload measurement is very important part of saving the cost and improving the efficiency. However, these are not easy to apply to real situation because of the labor-intensive and diversification of delivery environment. In this study, we develop the methodology for the standardization of business process and workload measurement model of the postal delivery service. Firstly, we introduce the work factor analysis on the postal delivery process. Then, we propose the methodology workload measurement model based on diversification of delivery environment.

  • In this study, how international diversification of domestic companies increases corporate profits and increases the dividend income of paid-in capital investors, who provided the basis for corporate business activities in the process of distributing profits. I tried to find out if it had an effect. An empirical analysis was conducted using a fixed-effect model for companies with settlements at the end of December listed on the domestic securities market from 2011 to 2018. It was confirmed that the higher the level of international diversification of individual companies, the higher the company's dividend payout ratio and dividend yield. This means that companies can steadily expand corporate profits and dividend yield of shareholders by securing new overseas markets through international diversification, it can be seen that a company's international diversification strategy can contribute to the increase of corporate value by increasing the company's dividend payout ratio by increasing dividendable profit.

  • This study analyzed factors that should be considered in the process of export diversification strategy formulation and priorities of strategies. We reviewed the extant literature and interviewed six experts. Cross-sectional analysis of a literature review and interview results were used to determine the influencing factors of export. The data for this study were collected from a survey of 68 export experts in Automotive Parts enterprises. Data were analyzed using AHP. As a result of the analysis, the order of importance appeared in the order of internal capacity, correlation buyer effect, entry barriers, technology response, and competition environment. The regions with a high overseas level were product differentiation, centralization, and low cost, whereas those with a low level were in the order of low cost, product differentiation, and concentration. It is meaningful to review the alternatives for adoption of the export diversification strategy and establish a strategy appropriate to the situation. It is necessary to establish a customized strategy considering the characteristics of the global region, and not only internal competence but also mutual relationship with local buyers are important.

  • Arts organizations commonly face a range of operational challenges, from a lack of skilled workers to limited financial resources and thus are dependent on subsidies from the government. Yet, to fully realize their mission arts organizations must both develop strategies to effectively utilize government support and seek a way forward that does not depend on public subsidies. Business diversification, a strategy from corporate management, entails the expansion of products and services, and entry into new industries, enabling companies to disperse risks and increase profits. We propose that business diversification can be effectively applied to arts organization to address the myriad operational difficulties they face. To understand how an arts organization might deploy business diversification we conducted a case study of an organization that is actively pursuing the strategy: Sanwoollim Theater. We interviewed staff members of Sanwoollim including the executive director, as well as selected audiences, to understand how the business diversification model was being applied at Sanwoollim. Our findings indicate that, in a complex arts and cultural space, business diversification is a fresh and flexible new strategy that can enable private cultural arts organizations to thrive sustainably. It is also evident that government support in the initial stages of the process encourages diversification and that successful private arts organizations will leverage government subsidies into a sustainable business plan.

As the technical background placed the emphasis on realistic representation. Fourth, the costume of historical dramas in 2000's reflected the intention of the production in consideration with the emotional aspects of popular culture.

  • This paper proposes a method of solving a unit commitment problem using parallel tabu search(PTS) approach. Tabu search is a heuristic optimization method that has the tabu list to control the search process. To improve the searching ability of a global solution, we used a method of exchanging solutions among connected processors as a diversification strategy, and to reduce the computation time, a new evaluating method was proposed which evaluates only a changed par. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, we simulated for 10 units system and 110 units system. Numerical results show improvements in the generation costs and the computation time compared with other conventional methods.

  • This study approaches how newly emerged game companies has implemented strategies for product diversification according to market growth cycle(beginninggrowing-mature) by empirical case study through evolutionary theory and resource based theory approach. At the beginning, online game companies had grown with different strategies(technology based, service based) by initial condition(genre, technological level, user attribute). After market growth, for product diversification, these companies carried out path-dependent alliance strategy(complementary, competitive) depending on resource base(technology capacity, service capacity based). As online game market getting mature, these companies has adapted flexibly in responding to market growth cycle by integrated strategy(naturally selected to mobilize every possible resource capability). By analyzing the alliance strategies pattern of online game companies in newly emerged game industry according to market growth cycle through combination of resource based theory and evolutionary theory, these results suggest that new industrial, theoretical, policy model is required.

  • This presentation is to enhance the pharmacist's role in Over-The-Counter(OTC) drug selection and patient counseling for diversification of pharmacy management after the separation of prescribing and dispensing practice in Korea. Self-medication by OTC drugs may be viewed as one element of the broader self-care treatment. The patient may use a OTC drug to manage a minor ailment, a process that may be supported by counseling from a pharmacist. Pharmacists involved in self-medication decisions have a greater involvement with patients and an enhanced professional role. (omitted)

  • The advancement of information and communication technology have brought the increase and the diversification of the digitalized information, which can be shared at any time from any place. Especially, with the recent spread of smartphone usage, the amount and the diversity of information have increased to amounts that are difficult to quantify. Within such an era of accelerated accumulation and diversification of digitalized information, the informatization of universities is becoming a critical factor for institutional advancement. Thus, universities are developing smartphone applications to provide easily accessible administration services, and support the information needs of each administration process by keeping a relationship with students from admission to post-graduation. This research systematically defines a university smartphone application, distinguishes its system quality factors, and studies the effects they have on satisfaction, intention of reuse, and intention of electronic word-of-mouth. The results showed that the security factor of system quality did not have a significant effect on satisfaction. The responsiveness and the empathy factors of service quality did not show a significant effect on satisfaction. Moreover, it was found that a higher user satisfaction for smartphone applications has a significant influence on intention of reuse and on the intention of electronic word-of-mouth.

  • The joinery technique, as one of manufacturing techniques for the wooden furniture, influences the production process, the economic efficiency, and the diversification of design. Especially, the usage of machine tools can determine how much the students can enhance their design expression capabilities during the practice class in furniture design courses of domestic universities, in accordance with whether to utilize the machine tools or not, and how much and frequent to use the machine tools. The study proved that the joinery techniques, based on the high-tech machine, has more efficiencies in the various aspects, including the easiness to manufacture the products, and the diversity of design than the joinery technique, based on the handcraft-only. As the ground of this, this study estimated the time to produce the wooden furniture by machine tools and by handcraft-only, each. Also, this study show the comparison of the features of three different joinery techniques. On the basis of this comparison, this study made the conclusion that the machine-based joinery technique, which is used in the practice class, is the best method to bring the best results in manufacturing the wooden furniture.
