Let X be a direct system of topological spaces and X its direct limit. We show that under certain conditions the direct limit of a "subsystem" of X embeds in a canonical way as a closed subspace of X.

A module M is called a simple-direct-injective module if, whenever A and B are simple submodules of M with A ≅ B and B is a direct summand of M, then A is a direct summand of M. Some new characterizations of these modules are proved. The structure of simple-direct-injective modules over a commutative Dedekind domain is fully determined. Also, some relevant counterexamples are indicated to show that a left simple-direct-injective ring need not be right simple-direct-injective.

This paper measured some condition about differential height of two points for the comparison of measure by direct method and Geodimeter and trigonometric Leveling method. The research was compared relationship between the volue to get from three measure method and five measured man. The significance of between three measure method and five measured man has been investigated by analysis of two-way ANOVA. The result indicate that between five measured man show insignficance, and between the direct method and Geodeter method show signficance and between the direct method and trigonometric Leveling method show signficance but between the Geodeter method and trigonometric Leveling method, two method show insignficant. Therefore, when using Geodemeter leveling method and trigonometric Leveling method, you must keep particular attention when former two Leveling method about instrumental error, natural error, and personal error, two Leveling method using low precision leveling.

최근 기술의 발전으로 자연스로운 미디어와 실재감을 제공하는 차세대 3D 기술이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 그 중 (초)다시점 미디어 기술은 기존의 안경식 3D 미디어 기술을 대체할 수 있는 기술로써 각광받고 있다. (초) 다시점 미디어는 기존의 미디어와 비교하여 많게는 10배가 넘는 시점 정보를 포함하고 있다. 그러므로, 대용량의 (초) 다시점 미디어를 전송하기 위해서는 IP 망에서 실시간성을 고려한 프로토콜 사용이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 차세대 미디어 전송 규격인 MPEG MMT를 이용하여 DirectShow를 기반으로 (초) 다시점 미디어를 전송, 재현할 수 있는 스트리밍 시스템을 구현 하였다.

현재 동영상 데이터를 이용한 압축영역에서의 특수효과 구현에 많은 관심이 모여지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform)압축영역에서 다양한 효과를 위해 최소한의 디코더를 개발하였으며, 이를 이용하여 Wipe, Dissolve, Zoom등의 비디오 효과등을 DCT영역에서 제안하였다. 또한 구현한 디코더와 효과들의 확장성과 이식성이 용이하도록 COM기반의 DirectShow 형식으로 각 모듈을 필터화 하였다.

This study intends to examine the influencing factors in personal intention and show-off of make-up behavior. For the study, a questionnaire survey was conducted of 436 women in between their twenties to fifties residing in the Kyeongnam region. Obtained data were analyzed pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The result is summarized as follows.; The influence on personal intention and show-off of make-up behavior can be described into 4 factors that are included in the decision making process of personal intention and show-off, in other words, the demographical characteristic, the body cathexis, the need and the clothing value. The demographic characteristics, the marriage status, the occupation status and the media contact had a direct influence on personal intention, and the educational background had a direct influence on show-off. The body cathexis did not have a direct influence on any subordinate factors of personal intention and show-off, but had indirect influence having the need as a parameter or had no influence having the clothing value as a parameter.

A module M is said to satisfy the $EC_{11}$ condition if every ec-submodule of M has a complement which is a direct summand. We show that for a multiplication module over a commutative ring the $EC_{11}$ and P-extending conditions are equivalent. It is shown that the $EC_{11}$ property is not inherited by direct summands. Moreover, we prove that if M is an $EC_{11}$-module where SocM is an ec-submodule, then it is a direct sum of a module with essential socle and a module with zero socle. An example is given to show that the reverse of the last result does not hold.

For robot navigation and visual reconstruction, structure from motion (SFM) is an active issue in computer vision community and its properties arc also becoming well understood. In this paper, when using stereo image sequence and direct method as a tool for SFM, we present a new method for overcoming bas-relief ambiguity. We first show that the direct methods, based on optical flow constraint equation, are also intrinsically exposed to such ambiguity although they introduce robust methods. Therefore, regarding the motion and depth estimation by the robust and direct method as approximated ones. we suggest a method that refines both stereo displacement and motion displacement with sub-pixel accuracy, which is the central process f3r improving its ambiguity. Experiments with real image sequences have been executed and we show that the proposed algorithm has improved the estimation accuracy.

In this article we show that direct limits do not preserve the property that the Wedderburn radical contains all nilpotents, comparing the fact that the NI property is preserved by direct limits.
