COMPARISON AMONG SEVERAL ADJACENCY PROPERTIES FOR A DIGITAL PRODUCT

  • Owing to the notion of a normal adjacency for a digital product in [8], the study of product properties of digital topological properties has been substantially done. To explain a normal adjacency of a digital product more efficiently, the recent paper [22] proposed an S-compatible adjacency of a digital product. Using an S-compatible adjacency of a digital product, we also study product properties of digital topological properties, which improves the presentations of a normal adjacency of a digital product in [8]. Besides, the paper [16] studied the product property of two digital covering maps in terms of the $L_S$- and the $L_C$-property of a digital product which plays an important role in studying digital covering and digital homotopy theory. Further, by using HS- and HC-properties of digital products, the paper [18] studied multiplicative properties of a digital fundamental group. The present paper compares among several kinds of adjacency relations for digital products and proposes their own merits and further, deals with the problem: consider a Cartesian product of two simple closed $k_i$-curves with $l_i$ elements in $Z^{n_i}$, $i{\in}\{1,2\}$ denoted by $SC^{n_1,l_1}_{k_1}{\times}SC^{n_2,l_2}_{k_2}$. Since a normal adjacency for this product and the $L_C$-property are different from each other, the present paper address the problem: for the digital product does it have both a normal k-adjacency of $Z^{n_1+n_2}$ and another adjacency satisfying the $L_C$-property? This research plays an important role in studying product properties of digital topological properties.

  • Owing to the development of the notion of normal adjacency of a digital product [9], product properties of digital topological properties were studied efficiently. To equivalently represent a normal adjacency of a digital product, the present paper proposes an S-compatible adjacency of a digital product. This approach can be helpful to understand a normal adjacency of a digital product. Finally, using an S-compatible adjacency of a digital product, we can study product properties of digital topological properties, which improves the presentations of the normal adjacency of a digital product in [9] and [5, 6].

디지털 마케팅 성과에 영향을 미치는 제품의 유형과 디지털 채널 선정에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Product Type and Channel Prioritization on Effective Digital Marketing Performance)

  • Purpose - This study aims to build a systematic frame for effective marketing performances by prioritizing product type and pertinent channel that are appropriate for digital channel characteristics. FCB grid model was used to define a product type, and Internet communication satisfaction index was considered as a marketing performance measuring tool for digital channel. Research design, data, and methodology - As systematic understanding for Digital marketing is still unfamiliar to even professional marketer, the hypothesis was established based on preliminary research by conducting a qualitative survey of marketing experts who already experienced digital marketing in the fields as well as existing related study literature. Through a preliminary research, the degree for understanding for digital marketing, current digital marketing (including product/channel mix) execution status, and difficulties for marketers who had experienced digital marketing were figured out. Based on preliminary research, the main part of survey was designed to examine which type of product would be effective for digital marketing and which digital channel would be effective to achieve marketing performance in line with marketing objectives. To collect data, the questionnaire survey was conducted for professional marketers who had experienced digital marketing in 10 different fields including FMCG, cosmetics, distribution industry for one month (July, 10, 2014~Aug, 10, 2014). A total of 90 questionnaire were distributed and 66 questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analysed using SPSS ver.18.0. Results - The analysis for product type which is pertinent to digital marketing and prioritization for digital channel per digital marketing performance type could be summarized as followings. First, high involvement buying decision type of product and rational purchasing decision type of product in FCB grid are more effective for digital marketing in terms of marketing performance. Therefore, marketers in field would prioritize considering product type before executing digital marketing. Second, factor for sales increase, potential consumer creation and brand awareness was represented respectively 31.25%, 21.9%, and 20.8% as a result of factor analysis in terms of digital marketing channel performance. Third, effective major digital channel per digital marketing performance factor was differently identified as each digital channel has its own peculiarity. For instance, search engine is more effective for increasing sales while social media such as facebook and Kakaotalk is more effective for encouraging consumer participation. Conclusions - As a result of this study, product type and peculiarity which were pertinently fit to digital marketing were identified by using FCB grid model, and also suggested framework for decision making of digital channel selection in line with marketing objectives for effective marketing performance. It also provided insight to professional marketer which type of product could be effective for digital marketing execution as well as which factors should be measured for digital marketing performance.

디지털 제품의 브랜드 확장에 관한 연구 : 소비자의 제품 애착을 중심으로 (A Study on the Brand Extension of Digital Product : Focused on Consumer's Attachment to Product)

  • With science and technology getting more and more advanced, the scope of digital product is expanding and the new products continuously are introduced on the market. On the basis of consumers' attachment to products, we investigated the consumers' behaviors towards the product when a digital product is extended. As a result of an empirical analysis, it turned out that a consumer tended to have higher trust and a positive emotion about relevant goods if he or she had a strong attachment to digital products. However, even though one had a strong attachment to digital products, the emotion about the corresponding brands did not necessarily appeared to be positive. In the event that a brand of digital products was extended to other new products, only the trust in the brand exerted significant influence on the consumers' behaviors towards the extended products. Finally, this study suggests some theoretical and managerial implications for effective strategies in response to customers' attachment to digital product.

REMARKS ON DIGITAL PRODUCTS WITH NORMAL ADJACENCY RELATIONS

  • To study product properties of digital spaces, we strongly need to formulate meaningful adjacency relations on digital products. Thus the paper [7] firstly developed a normal adjacency relation on a digital product which can play an important role in studying the multiplicative property of a digital fundamental group, and product properties of digital coverings and digitally continuous maps. The present paper mainly surveys the normal adjacency relation on a digital product, improves the assertion of Boxer and Karaca in the paper [4] and restates Theorem 6.4 of the paper [19].

  • In this study, the relationships of factors influencing the ways alternative types of new digital products are accepted into the market will be structuralized. On the basis of previous research, it is assumed that customers intend to use alternative types of new digital products when they have a higher value than existing products. The consumer's feeling of attraction toward the product is another factor included in the evaluation of its quality. And the attraction of the products that the consumers feel is also included in the evaluation of the qualities of the product. The results of the study indicate first that a product's value affects its attraction, but not the usage intention of the customer. Second, the benefits of the product affect the customer's recognition of its value, while cost does not. Third, environment affects recognition by the customer of the product's attraction, while knowledge of the product does not. By structuralizing the factors that influence the customer's usage intention about alternative types of new digital devices, the causal relationships of the factors involved in the acceptance of new products into the market and their success can be comprehended.

  • Korean digital product users' tends to be participationoriented. They hope that their expectations are reflected in the outcome. Furthermore, they look toward customizationoriented. They want product differentiation for only their own goods. They come to take a prudent and particular attitude. Korean display industry is under extending the share of the international market these days.   • Digital twin technology is one of the key technologies to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturing industry from the viewpoint of digital transformation in the era of $4^{th}$ industrial revolution. In this research, the important role in using digital twin technology in product design, This paper summarizes and empirically verifies the technical characteristics of digital twins, a key concept in the digital transition of the manufacturing industry. In this study, the technology characteristics of digital twin which is key concept in the digital transformation of manufacturing industry are summarized and empirically validated which factors militate a critical role in the use of digital twin technology in product design which is key area of product development. As a result of analysis, datafication, intellectualization which are characteristics of digital twin technology and task characteristics of product design influence Task Technology Fit (TTF) and Task Technology Fit (TTF) influences Technology (UTAUT) And finally, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions affect usage intention.

Implications of IT Awareness and Digital Marketing to Product Distribution on the Performance of Makassar SMEs

  • Purpose: SMEs are one of the largest contributors to GDP for Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the effect of IT awareness and digital marketing on the performance of SMEs in the city of Makassar through product distribution. Research design, data, and methodology: IT Awareness and Digital Marketing are independent variables in this study, while Product Distribution is an intervening variable in viewing the performance of SMEs in Makassar City. The data is processed using Smart-PLS. The samples used were 381 business units operating in the city of Makassar. Results: From this study it was found that IT Awareness and Digital Marketing had a significant and positive effect on the distribution of products from SMEs in the city of Makassar. However, IT Awareness and Digital Marketing do not directly affect the performance of SMEs in the city of Makassar. So it can be concluded that both IT Awareness and Digital Marketing only affect the performance of SMEs in Makassar City through Product Distribution, not directly. Conclusions: From this study it can be concluded that SMEs in the city of Makassar should start increasing their IT awareness and use digital marketing to increase their product distribution to improve the performance of their SMEs.

  • From designers' viewpoint, today, the major environmental change can be found in the digital environment. Especially, more than the development of physical product which can be characterized as the backup of old function and realization of new function in the field of product design, as the digital product development of program style that exists without substance is deepened, the development of the digital design media has been accelerating. However, it is the recent matter that the link with educational system about the added value which could be embodied by digitech, and the interdisciplinary research about producing goods become regular. The construction of the industrial design development process based on the digital environment must be the major research object. Therefore, the goal of my research is to present the concept of the product design process model required in the digital environment.
