  • This study explored the characteristics of media contents in the past, present and future. Also, it investigated the problems in terms of production of contents and circulation in order to find an effective way of providing contents that can keep pace with ubiquitous environment as well as one source multi use in various platforms and channels. In conclusion, it is viewed easy to expect that content would be the most valuable assets in ubiquitous media environments and the importance of contents will be more growing. Rather than game and enjoyment-related contents, more informative and cultural programs will be more valuable so policy-makers as well as industry need to more cultivate this area. In addition, this study presented the method for copyright protection and suggested that governmental policy fostering independent production should also be followed.

  • An interface in smart device environment is changing to TUI(touch user interface) environment where a system is being controlled by physical touch, differently from a system controlled through conventional mouse and keyboard. What is more important than anything else in this TUI environment is to implement interface in consideration of learn ability and cognitive constructivism according to user's experience. Therefore, now is the time when it is necessary to carry out various studies on smart content design process going a step farther together with discussing the details of user's experience factor. Hence, this study was intended to look into what effect a user's experiential traits had on the production of contents for the purpose of measures for improving TUI user satisfaction in order to effectively realize contents in smart environment. Results were yielded by using a statistical empirical analysis such as cross-tabulation analysis according to important variable and user, paired t-test, multiple response analysis, and preference frequency analysis of user preference on the basis of a survey. As a result, a system was presented for implementing DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) process. TUI experience factor can be divided into direct habitual experience, direct learning experience, indirect habitual experience, and indirect learning experience. And in the results of study, it was possible to find that the important variables of this study had a positive effect on the improvement of use satisfaction with contents on the whole according to the user convenience of smart contents. This study is expected to have a positive effect on efficient smart device-based contents production by providing objective information according to empirical analysis to smart media-based developer and designer and presenting a model for improving the changed TUI usability.

  • With the rapid development of computer, information and communication technologies, the production and distribution of digital contents among various kinds of networks have become more common. In such environment, we need to store and to manage efficiently a large volume of geograpruc data because the amount of geographic data grows faster and faster. In this paper, as a key solution to manage efficiently such a huge amount of geograpruc data, we adopt the mechanism which compresses only the difference between original and updated data with high compression ratio. By transferring highly compressed updated part only instead of the entire of geographic data, we can reduce the network traffic during the download of contents and service.

This research aims to elaborate a brief framework of the literature review on the research conducted for the Coronavirus outburst regarding the food service sector. Research design, Data, and methodology - The method used in research involving interpretation of the subject content in a text data through a systematic process of classification to identify the themes and coding is referred to as the qualitative content analysis. It can also be defined as a useful research approach method of analysis instead of an empirical analysis. Result - Based on ultimate systematic literature analysis, the author figured out that the vendors should be given importance to the digital traveling interventions as the shortest factor in foodservice processing firms. Designing new sources of revenue and implementing numerous canceled regulations are other resolution that helps challenges in food service industries Conclusion - The Coronavirus pandemic has affected the foodservice business leading to the permanent closure of some businesses. • With the digitalization of production and consumption environments, consumers are no longer merely targets of marketing, but key players in creating value jointly with companies by participating in various decision-making processes. Much virtual content in particular, such as fashion shows, exhibitions, games, social activities, and shopping, which fashion brands implement in virtual worlds, cannot be completed without consumers' active engagement and interaction. Thus, this study considers consumers' participation in virtual content provided by fashion brands as value co-creation in virtual worlds. This study aims to examine how consumer (i.e., consumer smartness) and fashion firm (i.e., perceived intellectual capital) factors influence value co-creation behavior intention in virtual worlds. Data were collected from 410 consumers in their 20s nationwide through an online survey, and a higher-order structural equation modeling analysis was conducted to test the research model. The results showed that both consumer smartness and perceived intellectual capital positively influenced customer participation behavior and citizenship behavior intentions. Specifically, perceived intellectual capital had a greater impact on value co-creation behavior in the virtual world than consumer smartness. The findings provide empirical evidence that the fashion firms' intangible assets and consumers' competence in the digital shopping environment encourage their intentions to co-create value in virtual worlds.

  • This study was conducted structural model analysis focusing on the factors influencing UHDTV service usage. The perceived quality, innovativeness, price sensitivity are adopted as independent variables and perceived usefulness, perceived easy use are adopted as intervening variables. Especially symbolism used it as a control variable. As a result of the analysis by PLS, the influence coefficient of perceived quality was significantly higher than other variables. However, the combined effect of symbolism and perceived quality has a negative effect on perceived usefulness, and the more the users consider the symbolism of UHDTV usage, the more negative the evaluation of UHD quality and usefulness. With the launch of the terrestrial UHDTV service in May 2017, the most important issue is the production and distribution of high-quality content that users want.

  • In this study, 186 remote graduate students from J University were surveyed and interviewed in-depth to see if their satisfaction varies depending on their gender, semester, and major, and the results were as follows. First, the gender satisfaction of remote graduate students was shown to be statistical significance differences between men and women in professors, offline activities, and class evaluations, all of which showed that men were significantly higher than women. Second, the satisfaction level of each semester of remote graduate students was shown to be significantly different in curriculum, LMS, lecture content quality, and offline activities, and tended to increase as the school year went up. Third, the satisfaction level of remote graduate students by major was found to have significant differences in other factors except LMS and class contents, with the highest educational administration. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data to improve elements absolutely necessary for student-centered education, such as curriculum of remote graduate schools, establishment of learning platform (LMS), and development and production of lecture contents.

  • Recently K-POP's popularity and the success story of 'Psy' suggests that Korean Culture can get the possibility of entry into the global major market. Increasing the purchasing power of global contents distribution also shows that the delivery of cultural content can be a big business model to create economic benefits. However, for sustainable diffusion of Korean culture, we need efforts to expand the business scope to the global market like the establishment of global distribution platform. In this study, we investigated key factors for activating the global content distribution and then analyzed priority of importance of the factors to be utilized the strategic alternatives using AHP method. To ensure the reliability of the study, experts (30patients) who worked more than 10 years of relevant work were included as population of the questionnaire. The results of analysis, the relative importance of content aspects were higher than technical aspects and policy aspects. In the analysis of the importance of the second layer factors, the business models of policy aspects were analyzed as a factor of top priority, then high-quality content production was selected as an important factor of the next higher ranks.

  • Given the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) and the deepening of the information gap phenomenon in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers and practitioners need to understand the changing perceptions of new phenomena such as COVID-19 information gap on the existing information-vulnerable population. In this study, an empirical analysis was performed with the digital information gap survey data in 2020 to understand the potential impact of COVID-19 on the information gap according to the information-vulnerable class. This study is to verify the effect of information gap, marginalized groups, gender, and major factors of information services (contents, social relations, life services, information production, networking, social participation, non-face-to-face services) on the change in perception of digital information technology after Corona. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the higher the content, social relationship, life service, networking, and digital non-face-to-face service, the higher the change in perception of digital information technology after Corona. Therefore, in light of the evolving phenomenon of COVID-19, it is considered that the government needs to provide education and training to strengthen the capabilities of the information-vulnerable class in order to resolve the digital information gap.
