  • Sharp radius constants for certain classes of normalized analytic functions with fixed second coefficient, to be in the classes of starlike functions of positive order, parabolic starlike functions, and Sokół-Stankiewicz starlike functions are obtained. Our results extend several earlier works.

  • In this paper we make use of the parity check matrices of the codes based on inverting construction $Y_1$ to construct a number of new asymmetric orthogonal arrays with higher strength and higher number of levels using the method of construction of asymmetric orthogonal arrays given by Suen et al. (2001).

  • In this paper, some general results for obtaining recurrence relations between product moments of order statistics for doubly truncated distributions are established. These results are then applied to some specific doubly truncated distributions, viz. doubly truncated Weibull, Exponential, Pareto, power function, Cauchy, Lomax and Rayleigh.

  • A uniform study towards normality is provided for topological spaces. Following Császár, 𝛄-normality and 𝛄(𝜃)-normality are introduced and investigated. For 𝛄 ∈ 𝚪13, 𝛄-normality is found to satisfy Urysohn's lemma and provide partition of unity. Several existing variants of normality such as 𝜃-normality, 𝚫-normality etc. are shown to be particular cases of 𝛄(𝜃)-normality. In this process, 𝛄-regularity and 𝛄(𝜃)-regularity are introduced and studied. Several important characterizations of all these notions are provided.

  • Two new concepts, namely, ��∗-connectedness and ��∗-component are introduced by using ideal in proximity spaces. A relation of ��∗-connectedness with different types of connectedness that are considered in literature before is studied. It is shown that ��∗-connectedness is a contractive property.

  • In this paper, we provide various characterizations for the composition operator on Lorentz spaces L(p, q), 1 < p ≤ ∞, 1 ≤ q ≤ ∞ to have finite ascent (descent) in terms of its inducing measurable transformation. At the end, in order to demonstrate our outcomes, some examples are given.

  • In this article, we establish Hilbert-type integral inequalities with the help of a non-homogeneous kernel of hyperbolic function with best constant factor. We also study the obtained inequalities's equivalent form. Additionaly, several specific Hilbert's type inequalities with constant factors in the term of the rational fraction expansion of higher order derivatives of cotangent and cosine functions are presented.

  • A class of normalized univalent functions f defined in an open unit disk of the complex plane is introduced and studied such that the values of the quantity zf'(z)/f(z) lies inside the evolute of a nephroid curve. The inclusion relations of the newly defined class with other subclasses of starlike functions and radius problems concerning the second partial sums are investigated. All the obtained results are sharp.
