  • At the railway feeding system, a role of dead section is very important. Because, dead section is essential installation that AC feeding system meets DC feeding system or phase is changed between AC feeding systems. But, in dead section it is possible that an electric train meets interruption. In Korea, a study on the dead section isn't yet accomplished in depth. Accordingly. In this paper, when electric train is in dead-section power quality problem on electric train was dealt. Modeling and simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC was accomplished to analyze.

  • In this paper, when electric train is in dead-section the effect on electric train system was dealt. The feeding system of electrical railway is AC or DC. When the electric train is passed AC feeding system to DC, vice versa or phase is changed in between AC feeding systems, there is a dead section. A dead section usually makes the electrical system complex md may have an adverse effect on the electrical system inside the train. Accordingly, it is important to analyze the effect on trains in dead-section. Modeling an electric train and simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC was accomplished to analyze how power quality problem such as inverter switching surge is propagated to electric train through the feeding line, railway, pantograph.

  • In the feeding system of electric railways it is necessary to divide the power lines for either ac or dc system. At this dead section, the system is damaged by the abrupt change of the coming-in power. This paper present the relationships. Between the feeding system and the trail-cars, and the counter plans to reduce the electrical arc and the breakdown at the dead section.

  • The accidnet of breaking insulator rod leads to inturruption of moving the subway. We investigate the analysis of analysis of breaking accident of FRP insulator rod installed in dead section for catenary feeding system. To analysis of accident reason, SEM is used to analysis microscopic struture on surface of cross section of broken FRP insulator rod. At the same time, we examine the chage of atomic amount on solace of accident insulator through EDX analysis. Also, the test for tensional breaking load is condoled to check the mechanical strength.

  • The kinematically admissible veolcity field is developed for the shapes of dead metal zone and the curving velocity distribution in the eccentric plane dies extrusion. The shape of dead metal zone is defined as the boundary surface with the maximum friction constant between the deformable zone and the rigid zone. The curving phenomenon in the eccentric lane dies is caused by the eccentricity of plane dies. The axial velocity distribution in the plane dies is divided in to the uniform velocity and the deviated velocity. The deviated velocity is linearly changed with the distance from the center of cross-section of the workpiece. The results show that the curvature of products and the shapes of the dead metal one are determined by the minimization of the plastic work and that the curvature of the extruded products increase with the eccentricity.

  • 도로 및 철도 건설에서 적용되는 터널의 단면크기는 $50m^2$에서부터 $200m^2$의 중 대단면 터널이 주를 이루고 있으나, 전력구, 통신구, 광산용 터널, 용수를 위한 도수로터널 등 특수한 용도로 설계, 시공되고 있는 터널에서는 $20m^2$이하의 단면크기를 갖는 경우가 많다. 소단면 터널의 경우에는 협소한 작업공간으로 인하여 적용공법 뿐만 아니라 장비의 사용 또한 제약을 받게 되어 작업효율이 저하되고 공사기간이 늘어나게 되는 등 여러 가지 문제점을 안고 있다. 특히, 에멀젼 폭약을 사용하는 발파에서 먼저 기폭된 발파공의 충격압력에 의해 인접공의 폭약이 예비압축되어 사압현상을 일으키고 잔류약을 발생시키는 사례가 종종 발생하고 있다. 사압현상은 발파의 실패와 함께 2차적인 사고의 위험요인이 될 수 있으므로 이를 방지하기 위한 대책을 수립하여야 한다. 기존 문헌을 통하여 사압현상의 원인과 발생 가능성을 검토하였고, 사압현상이 발생한 소단면 터널현장을 대상으로 그 대책을 수립하여 적용하였다. 심발방법을 변경하여 전단의 충격압력을 견딜 수 있는 공간격을 확보하고 뇌관의 초시간격을 적절하게 배치한 발파패턴을 적용한 결과, 사암현상을 억제하고 잔류약의 발생을 감소시켜 계획 굴진장을 확보하였으며 파쇄석의 크기를 감소시키는 등 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

The curving phenomenon in the eccentric square dies is caused by the eccentricity of square dies. The deviated velocity is changed with the distance form the center of cross-section of the workpiece. The results show that the curving of products and the shapes of the dead metal zone are determined by Rigid Plasticity Finite Element Analysis and that the curvature of the extruded products increases with the eccentricity.
