The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between Korean traditional culture awareness, Korean dance image, cultural heritage preservation, and the intention for Korean teens to experience Korean dance. The respondents were 459 middle and high school students within Seoul and the Gyeonggi Province. The following results were obtained: First off, it was discovered that only interest in Korean traditional culture had a significant impact on the image of Korean dance. Also that Korean traditional culture education and utilization create the overall impact on the image of Korean dance. Secondly, the image of Korean dance was found to have a significant impact on the preservation of Korean cultural heritage. Next, the image of Korean dance was found to have a significant impact on the intention of teens to experience Korean dance. Finally, cultural heritage preservation was not found to have a significant impact on the teens intention to experience Korean dance.

The study uses the image technique of the movie (analysis) since there are limited analyses and data of the dance film's (cinematic) grammar. The films are limited to the Wim Vandekeybus's Blush. From the analysis of the one film, films are directed using basic movie grammars. Although the films are of the same genre, it differs from the method of using image techniques as well as the director's personal art preference. The cinematic grammars enhance the effect of the movement and it emphasizes the objectives to deliver the audience true meaning of the films. Dance film is not a simple word combination of dance and film to record new type of art; dance is used for the movie's artistic and aesthetic enhancement. To find out dance is the language and important expressive tool of the dance film, at the same time cinematic grammar enhances effect of dance and objective of the film, the study uses image technique analysis. These are the results of dance film analysis by using image techniques. Firstly, Dance film can transcend time and space. Secondly, The creative director could emphasize some part that the audience should focus on to clearly deliver the intention of the choreographer. Lastly, To popularize the dance genre. If the dance film produces with more diversified stories than the resent, it will be a part of a cultural industry and could create profits. Dance film might lose the sense of realism, which is the main characteristic of the stage art; however it could feel the beauty of the film through the mise en scene.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Dance Sports on body composition, blood level of lipids and leptin in the middle-aged women. The 24 subjects for this study were divided into three groups by the % fat classification non-obese control group (n=8, CG), obese group with Dance Sports (n=8, OG), and normal group with Dance Sports (n=8, NG). They performed Dance Sports with 60∼80% of HRmax, for 60min a day and three times per week during 12 weeks. The body composition, blood levels of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglyceride and leptin were examined before and after Dance Sports. The percent body fat was decreased in OG and NG significantly. The blood levels of HDL-cholesterol were increased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. The blood levels of triglyceride was significantly decreased in the same groups. Other serum lipids were not changed significantly. The blood levels of leptin were decreased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. But the lowering effect of Dance Sports in the obese group (OG) was not improved compared with that in the normal group (NG), suggesting that Dance Sports on the obese group (OG) has no further improving effect in the change of blood lipid and leptin. These results suggest that Dance Sports has a beneficial effect on the change of blood levels of HDL-cholesterol and leptin.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of motion-based dance game on static and dynamic balance in elderly women. The participants were randomly divided into 2 group, Motion Based dance game group(n=10), control group(n=10). After they were divided into an Motion Based dance game group and a control group the Motion Based dance game group participated in six-week period of time, three times a week, 60 minutes each, and the control group didn't exercise outside of their daily lives. To evaluated the balance ability of exercise, it was evaluated by using Berg Balance Scale(BBS), Functional Reach Test(FRT), Timed Up and Go test(TUG). The data was analysis using a paired t-test and independent t-test to determine the statistical significance. The results of this study between BBS, FRT, TUG and Motion Based dance game group had statistically significant difference rather than control group(p<.05). In conclusion, the Motion based Dance Game showed improvement on the balance ability in the elderly. Regular maintenance of the Dance Game "Dance Central" program for the elderly will assistance improve the balance. Consequently, studies on the development of dance games suitable for the elderly are believed to be necessary.

Geyonggi-geommu have developed based on the long history of Korean sword dance. Han Sung-joon, the great master of modern music and dance of Korea during the Japanese colonial period, collected and reconstructed folk dances that had disappeared or were cut off due to the policy to obliterate Korean culture through Chosun Music Dance Research Society. Since then, it has been passed down to Kang Sun-young and Kim Geun-hee that has designated as the Intangible Cultural Property No. 53. of Geyonggi-do in 2011. This study focuses on highlighting the uniqueness of Geyonggi-geommu for proper modeling and transmission of Geyonggi-geommu with historical significance so as to understand and preserve the Intangible Cultural Heritage. This study examines the transmission system of Geyonggi-geommu, followed by Kang Sun-young and Kim Geun-hee, originated by the master Han Sung-Joon of Geyonggi-geommu. Geyonggi-geommu has its uniqueness of using the pure Korean dance terminology established by the holder Kim Geun-hee at the time of designation of intangible cultural properties in Gyeonggi-do. The unique features of Geyonggi-geommu are performed and transmitted in two forms, Daemu(Group dance) and Holchum(Solo dance) which are not currently found in other regions. This is meaningful to passed down according to the original form of Geommu(Sword dance). In particular, the Holchum(Solo dance) is a form of artistic dance, showing the beauty of the sword dance during the Chosun Dynasty. In short, Gyeonggi-geommu can be described as an artistic dance with a soft and strong temperament considering its unique features.

K-POP plays a key role in the Korean Wave and is becoming more popular over time. In K-POP, K-POP dance plays an important role in increasing public interest and support and reflects the taste of the audience according to the rapidly changing times. In addition, it has a variety of unique choreography forms, such as point choreography and dance that is perfectly in sync associated with the lyrics of the song, so it has sufficient possibility to raise its status independently. In order to examine the fact that K-POP dance is not an element included in K-POP, this researcher tried to investigate the case of interest in -K-POP dance in various ways and to clarify the meaning of the existence of K-POP dance once again. K-POP dance is gaining international interest and support through the mass media through various examples, raising the awareness of choreographers. In addition, created the integration of various races and ages. It also continues to help the country's economic growth while expanding to education. It also serves as a cultural notification in that it promotes Korean culture and manners along with -K-POP dance. However, this researcher emphasizes that for the continuous growth and independence of K-POP dance in the future, a program to cultivate systematic educators are needed, and the efforts of K-POP dance educators and choreographers are needed accordingly.

이 연구는 작품분석을 통해 작품에서 나타난 모던댄스(modern dance)와 컨템포러리댄스(contemporary dance)의 차이를 분석하고 논의하는 것을 목적으로 두었으며, 그 결과 모던댄스와 컨템포러리댄스를 움직임, 음악, 무대미술 이라는 세 가지의 키워드로 나뉠 수 있었다. 크게 모던댄스는 신체의 확장, 서정적인 분위기의 음악, 근육의 섬세한 움직임을 통한 춤의 본질을 표현하게 되었고, 컨템포러리댄스는 신체의 분절, 전자음과 강한 비트, 정형화 되지 않은 조명과 락 콘서트를 연상하는 이미지를 연출할 수 있었다.

When an aggressive war reached at the climax in 1940, a commemorative event called celebration' was held on a large scale in Japan for 'beginning former 2,600 years. I considered Urayasu-no-mai Dance played as part of a celebration event in a Shinto shrine of the all over Japan how was created and spread by this article Urayasu-no-mai Dance was created newly and was played in Shinto shrines of the whole country. The Urayasu-no-mai Dance was created based on Gagaku and Miko Mai (shrine maiden's dance) that has been read aloud not to go out of the ancient times. It was created in the situation of the war and spread and was spread. It will be said that Urayasu Dance is a typical example of 'forged traditional'. Urayasu Dance is a tradition made at modern time and remains for an unfortunate inheritance used again by the advertising tool of the national ideology. The Urayasu-no-mai Dance is expanded more now, without enough consideration about the historic procession other words, It played under a strong-arm society atmosphere is placed as new folk performing arts all too soon. In the complicated world situation at the time, Urayasu-no-mai Dance that emphasized a Japanese tradition for the inside and outside were spread. Urayasu-no-mai Dance created in modern times substitutes a traditional shaman dance, and there is even the tendency that ritual performing arts peculiar to each local Shinto shrine is unified to Urayasu-no-mai Dance. The purpose of this study was to develop regional dance contents in order to receive attention from the region and re-illuminate the peacock fan, the intangible cultural property of Seocheon, Chungnam, which has been preserved in history and has been preserved in the face of rapid urbanization and modernization. The representative four series are composed of one-person dance, two-person dance, military dance, and creative dance. The titles of each piece are basic dance , male and female love dance , military dance , and finally Korean creative dance . The commonality of the four series is the traditional dance using peacock fan, and each dance showed unique emotion and atmosphere through different themes and music, costumes, and stages. It was found that the development of regional dance contents re-created reflecting the characteristics of regional cultural heritage should create an environment that can be steadily revitalized through modernization. Through this study, it was found that the intangible cultural properties, which are our traditional cultural resources, have unlimited potential to contribute to enhancing regional and national competitiveness along with the growth potential of regional differentiation. Through such research, if existing cultural resources are preserved for globalization and produced as contents that can be easily accessed by the public, various contents besides regional dance using regional unique culture can be developed and utilized.

This study focuses on what changes are required as to a curriculum of dance department in the university in the age of the 4th industrial revolution. By comparing and analyzing the curricula of dance department in the five universities in Seoul, five academic subjects as to curricula of dance department, which covers what to learn for dance education in the age of the 4th industrial revolution, are presented. First, dance integrative education, the integration of creativity and science education, can be referred to as a subject that stimulates ideas and creativity and raises artistic sensitivity based on STEAM. Second, the curriculum characterized by prediction of the future prospect through Big Data can be utilized well in dealing with dance performance, career path of dance-majoring people, and job creation by analyzing public opinion, evaluation, and feelings. Third, video education. Seeing the images as modern major media tends to occupy most of the expressive area of art, dance by dint of video enables existing dance work to be created as new form of art, expanding dance boundaries in academic and performing art viewpoint. Fourth, VR and AR are essential techniques in the era of smart media. Whether upcoming dance studies are in the form of performance or education or industry, for VR and AR to be digitally applied into every relevant field, keeping with the time, learning about VR and AR is indispensable. Last, the 4th industrial revolution and the curriculum of dance art are needed to foresee the changes in the 4th industrial revolution and to educate changes, development and seeking in dance curriculum.
