This paper presents a system level architecture evaluation technique that leverages transaction level modeling but also significantly extends it to the realm of system level performance evaluation. A major issue lies with the modeling effort. To reduce the modeling effort the proposed technique develops the concept of worst case scenarios. Since the memory controller is often found to be an important component that critically affects the system performance and thus needs optimization, the paper further addresses how to evaluate and optimize the memory controllers, focusing on the test environment and the methodology. The paper also presents an industrial case study using a real state-of-the-art design. In the case study, it is reported that the proposed technique has helped successfully find the performance bottleneck and provide appropriate feedback on time.

In addition to direct sales to consumers, the direct-to-consumers (D2C) strategy, which provides specialized experiences and services, communicates closely with a consumer's perspective. This tendency is related to the recent trend wherein the luxury fashion system is being transformed into a new luxury. Therefore, this study analyzes the development of online D2C platforms and investigates the characteristics of new luxury from the functional, symbolic, and experiential dimension perspectives based on mobile apps, which is becoming increasingly important among online D2C platforms. Based on the study results, the premium of new luxury fashion displayed in Louis Vuitton's mobile D2C platform in terms of product utility and functionality is newly defined as a usable luxury experience. Moreover, from the heritage perspective, based on the cultural sympathy of the brand contents, we determine that an attachment can be formed between new luxury fashion consumers and brands. Additionally, the personalization service and experiential content on the D2C platform can directly afford emotional and bonding induced brand immersion in a playful way.

Let $d_*(1,w)^2 ={\mathbb{R}}^2$ with the octagonal norm of weight w. It is the two dimensional real predual of Lorentz sequence space. In this paper we classify the smooth points of the unit ball of the space of symmetric bilinear forms on $d_*(1,w)^2$. Hypercube and star graph are widely known as interconnection network. The embedding of an interconnection network is a mapping of a network G into other network H. The possibility of embedding interconnection network G into H with a low cost, has an advantage of efficient algorithms usage in network H, which was developed in network G. In this paper, we provide an embedding algorithm between HCN and HON. HCN(n,n) can be embedded into HON($C_{n+1},C_{n+1}$) with dilation 3 and HON($C_d,C_d$) can be embedded into HCN(2d-1,2d-1) with dilation O(d). Also, star graph can be embedded to half pancake's value of dilation 11, expansion 1, and average dilation 8. Thus, the result means that various algorithms designed for HCN and Star graph can be efficiently executed on HON and half pancake, respectively.

Authors have performed the sensory evaluation tests according to each given items after selecting various lines in order to assess the visual effects by the lines in cloth designing. The evaluations were done by means of ranking tests followed by paired comparison tests. The results obtained were as follows : 1. In the item in than "Shoulder width looks wide", the design C3 showed the best visual effect, and then B1, F8, and A5 comes in order. In "Shoulder width looks narrow", they were A2, F5, F7, and B2 in order. 2. In "Bust looks big", the effect was best in F9, and then B1, F5, C3, and A5 and order. "Bust looks small" item showed A3, C1, and F1 in order. 3. In "Waist looks thick", they were B2, D1, and F7 while in "Waist looks thin", they were B3, F8, and D6 in order. 4. In the item in that "Hip looks big", the best effect was in F9, and then E3, C2, and B4 in order. In "Hip looks small", the best one was C1, and then comes. E1, F6, and F8. 5. In "Upper body looks thick", they were D2, D4, F8, C3 and A5 in order whild in "Upper body looks thin", they were A1, F5, and D7 in order. 6. In the item "Lower body lookds thick", they were F9, C2, E3, B3, and D3 in order. In "Lower body looks thin", the best one was C1, and then D1, E2, F6, and F8 comes in order. 7. In "whole body looks thick", they were F9, F3, D3, and A5, and in "Whole body looks thin", they were F5, A1, C1, and D6 in order. 8. In "Height looks tall", the effects were in order of A4, D6, E1, and F7 while in "Height looks short", they were E3, F9, B4, D2, and D1. 8. In "Height looks tall", the effects were in order of A4, D6, E1, and F7 while in "Height looks short", they were E3, F9, B4, D2, and D1. F9, B4, D2, and D1.

In general, contrary to the CRTs with impulsive emission, liquid crystal displays have motion artifacts such as blurring. ghost image, decrease of dynamic CR(contrast ratio), and stroboscopic motion due to hold type driving method. In this paper, to improve motion picture quality of LCDs. impulsive driving method of black data insertion was applied to the OCB mode which is well known for its fast LC response time and wide viewing angle properties. Subject evaluation was carried out with CRT, TN, SIPS(Super IPS). and impulsive driving OCB. Moving picture image quality near CRT was obtained in impulsive OCB driving mode

In particular, when the a(z), the b_i(z) and the d_j(z) are polynomials, and d₄(z) ≡ 0, we shall show that if η(z) is a transcendental entire solution of finite order, and either deg a(z) ≠ deg d₀(z) + 1, or, deg a(z) = deg d₀(z) + 1 and ρ(η) ≠ ½, then ρ(η) ≥ 1.

Then the defining ideal of $C_d$ can be minimally generated by d polynomials $F_1, F_2, \ldots, F_d$ such that $degF_1 = 2, degF_2 = \cdots = degF_d = d - 1$ and $C_d$ is a set-theoretically complete intersection on $F_2 = X_1^{d-1} - X_2X_0^{d-2}$ for every field k of characteristic p > 0. For the proofs we will use the notion of Grobner basis.

This investigation was to measure heat resistance (D and Z values) of ascospores of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Py9 and Saccharomyces chevalieri Pw7 isolated from swollen commercially canned peaches. Decimal reduction times (D values) of S. cerevisiae Py9 ascospores were 6.5 min at $58^{\circ}C$, 2.5 min at $60^{\circ}C$ and 1.25 min at $62^{\circ}C$. Those of S chevalieri Pw7 ascospores were 35.0 min at $58^{\circ}C$ 3.5min at $60^{\circ}C$ and 1.5 min at $62^{\circ}C$ Zvalues of S. cerevisiae and S. chevalienri ascospores were $5.5^{\circ}C$ and $3.4^{\circ}C$, respectively.

A series of some biologically active halogenopurines were synthesized from commercially available guanine (1). The reaction of guanine with acetic anhydride yielded 2,9-diacetylguanine (2-1) by acetylation reaction. Further treatment of 2-1 with $POCl_3$ by PEG-2000 phase transfer catalysis furnished the important compound 3a, then 2-amino-6-halogenopurines (3b-d) were obtained through chlorine-exchange halogenations between KX and 3a by TPPB phase transfer catalyst. Further, 2-halogenopurines (2-2a-d, 4-2a-d, 5a-d) were efficiently prepared from 2-amino-6-substituted purines (1, 3a, 4-1) via a diazotization catalyzed by their corresponding CuX, and some new compounds 2-2a, 2-2c, 2-2d, 4-2c, 4-2d, 5b, 5c and 5d have been discovered. The structures of synthesized compounds were mainly established on the basis of their elemental analysis, $^1H$ NMR, as well as their mass spectral data. All the title compounds were screened for their antifungal activities, and some of the compounds showed promising activity.
