  • Although many studies have suggested that introducing the distance learning method, including Web-based learning, to a practice class is effective, studies applying the distance learning method to subjects who are practicing cooking are rare. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the distance learning method, the degree of computer use, and the use of distance learning by college students with cuisine-related majors to practice cooking. The results showed that most students used the distance learning method, and that the method was positively perceived, as it was a great aid in learning. Most of the cooking information was obtained through the internet, and the most effective learning media for practicing cooking was "e-learning" using a computer. The most effective learning method for those who were practicing cooking was a "face-to-face learning method", because face-to-face type of teaching and learning was most universally recognized. Most of the students surveyed responded that using the distance learning method was a positive experience, indicating that cyber lectures could be applied at more universities for subjects practicing cooking.

  • Machine learning-based intrusion detection methodologies require a large amount of uniform learning data for each class to be classified, and have the problem of having to retrain the entire system when adding an attack type to be detected or classified. In this paper, we use feature learning and hierarchical classification methods to solve classification problems and data imbalance problems using relatively little training data, and propose an intrusion detection methodology that makes it easy to add new attack types. The feasibility of the proposed system was verified through experiments using KDD IDS data..

  • This study surveyed the recognition on the Korean education for specific purposes targeting student-teachers majoring Korean language education in a Cyber University located in Seoul. 50 among 57 students taking the class participated in this survey. The participants were the students-teachers interested in Korean education for the mission purposes and took the class during the second term in 2020. At the end of the term they participated in this survey. 6 items were objective and 4 items were narrative. Among the narrative ones, one was excluded from analysis. The objective items were investigated by descriptive statics and the narrative items were analyzed with qualitative approach. As a result, most of the participants preferred the combined textbooks with others such as the ones for general and mission purposes rather than the bibles only. They had positive opinions on using the bibles, but proposed that the bibles themselves are not the best choice for improving communicative competence and the text combination is the better choice because of the difficulty of the bibles, the lack of teachers' competence, and the learners' needs. However, while taking this class, they became to be aware of the possibilities of the bibles as textbooks, to possess the concern about the mission areas, to consider the possibilities of application and the educational methods in it, and to reflect the ways for self development. This study suggested several points as follows: the development of diverse textbooks according to situations and learners, two directions of teacher education and the cooperative works, and the necessities of the related departments and classes with mission purposes.

  • This study proposed a classification of malicious network traffic using the cyber threat framework(Mitre ATT&CK) and machine learning to solve the real-time traffic detection problems faced by current security monitoring systems. We applied a network traffic dataset called UNSW-NB15 to the Mitre ATT&CK framework to transform the label and generate the final dataset through rare class processing. After learning several boosting-based ensemble models using the generated final dataset, we demonstrated how these ensemble models classify network traffic using various performance metrics. Based on the F-1 score, we showed that XGBoost with no rare class processing is the best in the multi-class traffic environment. We recognized that machine learning ensemble models through Mitre ATT&CK label conversion and oversampling processing have differences over existing studies, but have limitations due to (1) the inability to match perfectly when converting between existing datasets and Mitre ATT&CK labels and (2) the presence of excessive sparse classes. Nevertheless, Catboost with B-SMOTE achieved the classification accuracy of 0.9526, which is expected to be able to automatically detect normal/abnormal network traffic.

  • Most of the cyber attacks are caused by malicious codes. The damage caused by cyber attacks are gradually expanded to IoT and CPS, which is not limited to cyberspace but a serious threat to real life. Accordingly, various malicious code analysis techniques have been appeared. Dynamic analysis have been widely used to easily identify the resulting malicious behavior, but are struggling with an increase in Anti-VM malware that is not working in VM environment detection. On the other hand, static analysis has difficulties in analysis due to various packing techniques. In this paper, we proposed malware classification techniques regardless of known packers or unknown packers through the proposed model. To do this, we designed a model of supervised learning and unsupervised learning for the features that can be used in the PE structure, and conducted the results verification through 98,000 samples. It is expected that accurate analysis will be possible through customized analysis technology for each class.

  • The Detection Model is the model to find the result of a certain purpose using artificial intelligent, data mining, intelligent algorithms In Cyber Security, it usually uses to detect intrusion, malwares, cyber incident, and attacks etc. There are an amount of unlabeled data that are collected in a real environment such as security data. Since the most of data are not defined the class labels, it is difficult to know type of data. Therefore, the label determination process is required to detect and analysis with accuracy. In this paper, we proposed a KDFL(K-means and D-S Fusion based Labeling) method using D-S inference and k-means(unsupervised) algorithms to decide label of data records by fusion, and a detection model architecture using a proposed labeling method. A proposed method has shown better performance on detection rate, accuracy, F1-measure index than other methods. In addition, since it has shown the improved results in error rate, we have verified good performance of our proposed method.

  • This study provides basic guidelines to enrich lecture content and teaching methods for university lecturers about basic clothing construction (flat pattern making). The survey was conducted from October $13^{th}$ to December $20^{th}$ 2010 by mail and e-mail on 96 selected clothing departments in Korean universities to investigate the content, method and condition of the course of basic pattern making. A total of 63.3% of survey respondents were PhD graduates, 80 percent majored 'Apparel Science and Technology', average of total teaching experience was 12.84 years and 40 percent had studied abroad. The surveyed universities were 4 year universities (70%), 2-3 year tenure colleges (27%), and Cyber Universities (3%). The average number of students in a class was 28.08 and the lab space and equipment was evaluated positively only when the number of students was 20 or less. The type of measurements for basic pattern drafting were 'individual student's sizes' (62%), 'ready-made clothes sizing system' (25%), 'professor's experiential sizes' (5%), 'dress form sizes' (3%). In addition, the percentage of using 'ready-made clothes sizing system' increased 13% over the previous study (Lee, 2000). At a basic pattern drafting stage, 'the error of body measurements' in the case of using individual student's sizes, 'the poor results of fitting for students who deviate from standard body size' in the case of using ready-made clothes sizing system, 'the lack of education about fitting' in the case of using dress form sizes had been pointed out as shortcomings. A total of 66% of survey respondents carried out muslin fitting; however, a lack of students and teacher feedback about fitting & alteration of paper patterns remained a problem.
