Beta glucan was purified from Phellinus baumii and tested for its effect on the group performance of ants, a principal model of eusociality and of superorganisms. Japanese carpenter ants (Camponotus japonicus) were reared on diets containing beta glucans to characterize their effects on eusociality. Culturing structures for ants were assembled by implanting autoclaved soil into polyethylene terephthalate bottles. Three different eusocial strength indices were used to study the effect of beta glucan extract (BGE) on eusocial activities - the number of residence chambers, cooperative defense index (CDI), and group size and composition. Control, low- BGE, and high-BGE diets were prepared with the following three levels of BGE supplements in sucrose powder: 0, 20, and 50% (g/g). More residence chambers were observed in the BGE-fed groups than in the control. The CDI against a foreign queen ant was calculated according to the time taken to subdue the foreign queen. The high-BGE group took less time to complete their defense formation than the other groups. Differences were evident between control and BGE-fed groups in the total numbers of ants and eggs. The BGE-fed groups showed a significant increase in both the number of workers and the number of eggs. When fed with BGE, ants responded positively for all three eusocial strength indices. These results show that BGE exerts beneficial effects on the eusociality of ants as a superorganism.
This study was performed to explore the difference in communication anxiety and class satisfaction after taking the traditional lecture and flipped learning lecture. Fifty four nursing students participated in this study. The study design was one group pretest-posttest design. 4 weeks traditional lecture and 4 weeks flipped learning lecture was applied. Flipped learning was ineffective in improving communication anxiety (t=1.85, p=.069) of nursing students. But emotional state variables and activity variables in the emotional domain were significantly higher after taking the flipped learning lecture(t=-3.80, p=.000; t=-3.35, p=.001). In addition, all of the variables were higher in the flipped learning based team, in the control of the class activities (t=-3.07, p=.003), personal ability (t=-2.48, p=.016), and class participation(t=-3.25, p=.002). Flipped learning is therefore considered to be effective in training nursing students. This study suggested to investigate the effectiveness of flipped learning and learners' satisfaction.
In this paper, the discussion on Yin and Yang and the Five Elements in Mohism is examined through the comparison with Hundred Schools of Thought. The ideas of School of Naturalists including Zou Yan or those of the Five Elements were fundamentally for the purpose of observing the regularity of changing dynasty. However, this perspective had not been emphasized as a subject of Contention of a Hundred Schools of Thought until the end of the Era of Warring States. Even though it is true that Hundred Schools of Thought applied the theory of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements in common based on the understanding of the idea, but it failed to be connected to each ideological system. The fundamental reason for this can be found in the difference between the awareness of a reality and the concept of history in Hundred Schools of Thought. Where were the characteristics and reasonable opinions of the theory of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements in Mohism from? The most important feature of Mohism is to form independent, collective, cooperative groups based on the people of lower classes at that time and to consider God an ideological presumption. Therefore, in reality, it concentrated only on sociopolitical stability and maintenance of their own labor activities, and it was difficult for them to focus on an objective regularity of a national system or change of dynasty. In addition, due to the characteristics of individual groups, it was hard to have a macroscopic viewpoint not only on a national system, but also on others as in Zou Yan's Dae-gu-ju-seol(大九州說). With respect to this, at least, Xunzi, before the unification, gives a valid criticism. In the end, the effort to design a new political system and to secure ideological legitimacy on the assumption of the unification of the nations of the Warring States period became more specific through the edition of $L{\ddot{u}}shi$ Chunqiu (呂氏春秋), so-called Mixed School(雜家) or Synthesized School(綜合家).
As the online education market expands, educational contents with various presentation methods are being developed and released. In addition, it is imperative to develop content that reflects the usability and user environment of users who use this educational content. However, for qualitative growth of contents that will support quantitative expansion of markets, existing model analysis methods are urgently needed at a time when development direction of newly developed contents is secured. In this process of content development, a typical model for setting development goals is needed, as the rules of the prototype affect the entire development process and the final development outcome. It can also provide a positive benefit that screens the issue of performance dualization between processes due to the absence of communication between a single entity or between a number of entities. In the case of AR-based educational content which is effective to secure data necessary for development by securing samples of similar categories because there are not enough ready-made samples released. Therefore, a big data statistical analysis service is needed that can easily collect data and make decisions using big data. In this paper, we would like to design analysis services that enable the selection and detection of intuitive multidimensional factors and attributes, and propose big data-based statistical analysis services that can assist cooperative activities within an organization or among many companies.
Purpose - This paper investigates the implications for facilitating trade in the products of Industry 4.0. To identify the issues caused by the conflicts of policy objectives such as applying the tariff concession under the ITA and imposing the export control, by exploring the case of classification of drones. Design/methodology - We adopted a single case study method to gain a deeper understanding of the complex and multifaceted issues of Customs classification in the context of facilitating trade in the products of Industry 4.0. This study employs the case of drones to explore how these issues of Customs classification affect trade facilitation. We ensured the internal validity of the study by confirming the pattern of the results with the existing theories. Findings - Our main findings can be summarised as follows: the intrinsic nature of the products that converge several technologies causes issues in the classification. The inconsistency in product classification delays customs clearance by hindering the Customs risk-management system that pinpoints products subject to controls. To address the issues, therefore, we proposed fundamental reforms of Customs to empower themselves with management roles. Facilitating trade in the products of Industry 4.0 requires more enhanced Customs capability. Therefore, the reforms should include comprehensive capacity-building activities, such as changes in staff-trainings, promotion system, organisation and culture. Customs also need roles in robust designing of cooperative systems to compensate for the lacks of controls and to ensure concrete risk management for expedited Customs procedures. As well, by equipping the Single Window of Customs with crucial control functions of other ministries, Customs need to support the cooperation. The role of harmonising various preaudits of other ministries with its own is another essential role that ensures predictability of clearance procedure. Originality/value - There are scanty studies in the field of knowledge about what obstacles exist and what solution is available in the course of transforming to 'Industry 4.0'. In filling out the gap of knowledge, this paper is of academic significance in that it applies the research theory on trade facilitation for the specific cases of classification of the product of Industry 4.0 to verify its effectiveness and to extend the subject of the studies to the scope of Industry 4.0. It also has practical significance in that the results have provided implications for reforms of Customs procedures to facilitate trade in the products of Industry 4.0.

In this study, the direction and contents of public education to develop competencies that are in line with the 2022 revised curriculum and the paradigm of future education were sought, and a plan for reading education was prepared. A creative and cooperative problem-solving method and process as not only information literacy ability to read, select, and reconstruct information but also transformative competency to respond to uncertain future and diversified situations are important amid the complex, pluralistic and rapid development of information and communication technology It was intended to give an experience of exploring and communicating through reading in order to explore and derive it. Analyze the general outline and syllabus of the curriculum, international education project definitions and indicators, and organize academic theories and research to set the direction and goal of high school reading education, and organize creative and convergence class strategies and reading activities A library reading class model was developed. Accordingly, the class model was revised by applying the development research method, and the final model was developed by supplementing it through field application evaluation. In order to achieve the research purpose end, a two-round Delphi survey was conducted on 10 reading education and curriculum experts. The model modified through the Delphi survey was developed in the final school library convergence reading class model by demonstrating the class in the educational field and supplementing it through application evaluation.

The purpose of this study is to find out the policy alternatives for the activation of the local culture industry in Korea. The research methodology is content analysis into law articles of local culture promotion act and framework act on the promotion of culture industries and some related acts, to review the relations between local culture promotion and the promotion of culture industries. The results of this study are the followings: Firstly, the policies for the promotion of culture industries should connect to the policies of local culture promotion. 1) Local culture industries are related with the facilities like living cultural centers and the activities of the arts organizations or clubs of residents. 2) The industrial condiitions should be considered in the process of designation of cutural city and cultural area. 3) The local cuture industry policies should be connected to raise the funds for local culture promotion. 4) The local culture industries should be connected to the cultivation of professional personnel for local cultural promotion. Secondly, for the activation of the local culture industries, the obstructive factors should be eliminated and the facilitating factors should be utilized. 1) The purpose of the culture industries should be defined as concrete and clear through the clearly prescribing the range of culrure industries. 2) The roles which have been dispersed to various agents should assigned as designated clealy and the cooperative system should be construced. 3) In designating cultural cities and cultural area, conceptual elements should be considered and the brand of the local culrure industries should be presented. 4) The background industries such as tourism industries should be utilized. 5) Governance systems should be constructed and utilized.
In this study, a TPACK-based STEAM program was developed and applied under the theme of excretory organs in the 'Structure and Function of Our Body' of the elementary science curriculum. The program was produced and conducted through curriculum analysis and learning goal detailing, learning environment analysis, teaching·learning method and technology selection, TPACK elements arrangement and teaching·learning material development, application and effectiveness verification. Teacher's TPACK considered in STEAM program design process is content knowledge (appearance and work of excretory organs), pedagogical knowledge (STEAM, problem-based learning, research learning, discussion learning, cooperative learning, scientific writing) and technology knowledge (3D printer and smart device application technology). The program consisted of a total of 8 hours of project learning activities and was applied to 29 students in the fifth grade as an experimental group. A program of the same theme developed mainly from textbooks was applied to 27 students in the fifth grade of a comparison group. As a result of the application of the program, the experimental group showed significant improvement in creative problem-solving ability and scientific attitude compared to the comparison group, and the class satisfaction with the STEAM program was also high. However, there was no significant difference in academic achievement ability.
This study examined inservice elementary teachers' thoughts on the development of educational apps by preservice elementary teachers and implications for TPACK education for preservice elementary teachers. A case study was conducted in which preservice elementary teachers developed a science education app, and the three teachers were surveyed for their thoughts regarding this. The results regarding the characteristics of the developed app by preservice teachers were as follows. First, "inquiry" had the highest value among educational goals intended by the preservice teachers. In addition, the scores for tool-type apps and apps in which interaction between learners and instructors occurs were relatively high. Second, most of the preservice teachers developed apps to meet curriculum goals, but their apps showed low-level characteristics in terms of the constructive and cooperative dimensions. The results of the analysis of the thinking of elementary school teachers regarding the education development apps are as follows. First, elementary school teachers assigned the lowest scores to the effectiveness of the apps, and to this problem, the achievement standard with respect to the curriculum and the evaluation and modification activities fir the apps were proposed. Second, the teachers indicated that it would be appropriate to provide the experience of making apps to directly improve the TPACK of preservice teachers. Third, the respondents thought that preservice teachers should develop block coding literacy to create apps using App Inventor. Fourth, the teachers considered it necessary to emphasize simulated instructions, as well as the experience of collecting and handling data through apps to improve preservice teachers' TPACK app development for educational use.

This study is a study on the requirements, resources, and role of policy broker in the policy process. Particular attention was paid to two requirements of legitimacy (official authority, political support) and professionalism (information and expertise, skilled leadership) as the requirements of policy broker. This study analyzed the process of transforming the actor conflicts surrounding the media rep legislative process into a cooperative relationship by being mediated by a strong influential policy broker. Policy brokers can mediate opinions among participating actors and play a role in coordinating conflicting interests. In the mediarep policy process, the policy brokers were unable to resolve conflicts due to lack of legitimacy and expertise in the first phase (legislative grace period) and the second phase (legislative loophole). However, the legitimacy of the six subcommittees of the National Assembly (the legislative period) and the expertise of the Korea Communications Commission were able to succeed in policy-making by acting as a successful policy brokers through complementary activities.
