A Study on Collavorative SCM for O2O Startups

  • Purpose : With the proliferation of O2O platform services that combine offline and online services, many startups are fiercely competing to lead services in the O2O service market. While the prospects for growth in the O2O service market are optimistic because of the close convenience to life, startups can achieve corporate performance only through close cooperation and partnership with suppliers. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of O2O-based startups' and suppliers' cooperation in supply chain management on SCM performance through supply chain partnerships and startup satisfaction with suppliers. Research design, data, methodology : Data were collected from O2O service-based startups and hypotheses were verified through frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, feasibility analysis, and structural equation path analysis. In addition, the mediating effects of supply chain partnerships and startup satisfaction on suppliers were verified. Results : As a result of this study, IT utilization of the O2O startup cooperation method affects the financial perspective of supply chain partnership and SCM performance. The contract implementation of the cooperation method had an impact on the financial and innovation growth perspectives of the SCM performance, and the communication of the cooperation method had an effect on the supply chain partnership, startup satisfaction in the supply chain, and the innovation growth perspective of the SCM performance. Supply chain partnerships had an impact on the financial, innovation growth, and customer perspectives of SCM performance and startup satisfaction within the supply chain had a significant effect on innovation growth and customer perspectives. Conclusions : The implications of this study identified the factors that can improve SCM performance through the cooperation method of O2O startup, supply chain partnership and startup satisfaction with suppliers, and it is significant that the causal relationship was identified by the structural model through the supply chain cooperation factors derived by characteristics. Based on the empirical results, as the services of O2O startups grow, it is expected that empirical research and practical activation of academia should be considered as important in the cooperation of the supply chain.

공급망 성과 개선을 위한 조직간 원가관리의 활용 (The Application of IOCM for the Improvement of Supply-Chain Performance)

  • This study empirically investigated the relationships among inter-organizational cost management (IOCM), cooperation with suppliers, information exchange between partners, inter-organizational learning, control integration, and the supply-chain performance of a firm. The results showed that the adoption of IOCM positively affects the collaboration between buyers and suppliers, which also leads to the increased information flow between them. According to the results of this study, it was found that inter-organizational information flow causes inter-organizational learning, and this learning contributes to the improved supply-chain performance. In this study, the positive effects of the cooperation with suppliers through IOCM on the control integration in supply-chains were not empirically confirmed. However, the impact of IOCM on control integration was significant and positive. Finally, the fact that the enhanced control integration can improve the supply-chain performance of a firm was empirically demonstrated.

전략적 적합성 및 협력관계가 협력기업의 성과에 미치는 영향: 삼성전자 협력사를 대상으로 (The Effect of Strategic Fit and Cooperative Relationships on the Small Suppliers' Performance)

  • 본 연구는 부품공급 중소기업의 전략적 적합성과 대기업과의 협력관계가 부품공급 중소기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 조사하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 삼성전자의 1차 협력사 90개 기업을 대상으로 대기업과 전략적 적합성 및 대기업과의 협력관계가 중소기업의 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 전략적 적합성은 중소기업의 경영성과와 혁신성과 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중소기업이 경쟁력을 제고시키기 위해서는 환경에 적합한 전략을 추구해야 한다는 기존 이론적 주장을 뒷받침한다. 둘째, 대기업과의 협력에 있어 기술 및 인력 협력과 협력의 질이 부품공급 중소기업의 경영성과와 혁신 성과 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 대기업과의 기술 및 인력 협력을 통해 부품공급 중소기업의 생산성 및 효율성을 제고시켜 경영성과를 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 혁신성과 역시 달성할 수 있음을 보여준다. 셋째, 대기업과의 기술 및 인력 협력과 협력의 질이 전략적 적합성과 혁신성과 간의 관계에서 상호작용 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부품공급 중소기업이 환경의 불확실성이 높은 경우 차별화 전략을 추구하고 원청 대기업과 장기 지향적이고 상생적인 형태 협력을 수행함으로써, 더 많은 특허출원과 같은 혁신성과를 달성할 수 있음을 보여준다. 반면, 환경의 불확실성이 낮은 경우에는 원가우위 전략을 추구하고 원청 대기업과 기술 및 인력 협력을 수행함으로써, 더욱 큰 혁신성과를 달성할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 부품공급 중소기업이 경쟁력을 창출하기 위해서는 환경에 적합한 경쟁전략의 선택과 실천뿐만 아니라, 원청 대기업과의 기술 및 인력 협력 강도와 협력의 질이 중요한 영향을 미침을 주장한다. 이러한 주장은 중소기업의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 경쟁과 협력이 모두 중요함을 시사한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 ASP 도입에 미치는 영향 요인을 조직 요인, 시스템 요인, 환경 요인 등을 독립 변수로 설정하고, 공급사와 고객사 간의 적합성을 조절 변수로 설정하였으며 종속 변수는 ASP 도입 성과로 설정하였다. 검증 결과 독립 변수들 가운데 유일하게 비용 절감의 기대 요인만이 ASP 도입 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 조절변수로 설정된 공급사와 고객사 간의 적합성 요인은 독립 변수 중 유일하게 비용 절감의 기대요인과 ASP 도입 성과 간에 조절적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The current participative government has started to carry out Residents Service Reform that transforms the transmission system of suppliers' oriented convenience to one-stop tai for made civil and governmental integral ion service for the purpose of realizing universal Social Benefits in responding to increasing desires of people according to the changes of social and economic conditions by overcoming the existing limit of transmission system. This study has analyzed the status and problems of local autonomous organizations according to the innovation of support for the life of residents and in order to solve these problems, I present the implementation strategy of transmission system of civil and government cooperation tailor-made integral ion service through the project of "30 experiencing hall for Social Benefits, " which is a joint project of civil and government dove loped by Jungrang-gu. In addition, it aims for the completed accomplishments of this project to settle as eight largest services market ing brand in 30 method and also as the best strategic brand for the "establishment of network of civil and governmental cooperation" with suppliers of public services, suppliers of civil service, and residents, who are suppliers as well as potential customers, for solving problems of local communities.

신제품개발과정에서 공급기업과 제조기업 관계의 영향 요인에 관한 연구 :최고경영자 특성과 성과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Relationship between Suppliers and Manufacturers in the Process of New Product Development: with a Focus on CEO's Characteristics and Performance)

  • It seems most important for a manufacturing company to be well aware of its relationship with suppliers. This is why it is essential to analyze and control the structural relationship among CEO's characteristics, relations between suppliers and manufacturers and new product development performances affected by such relations. The present study may be summed up as follows: First, from the analysis of characteristics of manufacturing company's CEO and relations between suppliers and manufacturers, it could be verified that CEO's characteristics exercised influence upon sharing of product development process and upon cooperation for technical manpower, but not upon sharing of core technologies, signifying the fact that nothing could be more important than the role of CEO who has strong will to improve his or her relations with suppliers; and Second, from the analysis of relations between suppliers and manufacturers as well as relations between management and new product development performances, it became evident that both management performance and product development performance were affected by sharing of product development process. It was also known that cooperation for technical development process had influence upon the product development performance but not upon the management performance. Furthermore, the analysis showed that both management performance as well as product development performance were affected by sharing of core technologies.

A Case Study on the Influence Factors of Financial Performance of Korean Automotive Parts Cooperation Companies through Research Hypothesis

  • The aim of this research is to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of automotive parts suppliers while departing from the dependent relationship structure, by developing and interpreting factors that affect sale, which are financial achievements, in a practical way. The research data covered 200 companies from 2013-2017. The study hypothesis was verified by dividing the hypothesis into Model1 with control variables only and Model2 with control variables in independent variables. As a result of hypothesis testing, regarding sales, only capital size showed to have an effect in Model1, while in Model2, asset size, number of employees and joint ventures with foreign companies did but the other remaining factors did not. In particular, the results showed that an increase in financial performance required 'Economies of scale', and that companies that concentrated on a small number of items, diversified products into four or more items, or owned two to four suppliers, reaped positive results in financial performance. Therefore, in addition to the selection and concentration of corporate management for production items and account management, applying strategies, like the inter-company M&A, consortiums and co-branded strategies to achieve 'Economy of scale', would highly enhance the financial performance of automotive parts suppliers.

  • Supplier selection is one of the most important activities of a company. This importance is increased even more by new strategies in a supply chain, because of the key role suppliers perform in terms of quality, costs and services which affect the outcome in the buyer's company. In addition, green production has become an important issue for almost every manufacturer and will determine the sustainability of a manufacturer. Therefore a performance evaluation system for supplier and green suppliers is necessary to determine the suitability of suppliers to cooperate with the company. Supplier and green supplier selection is a multiple criteria decision making problem in which the objectives are not equally important. In practice, vagueness and imprecision of the goals, constraints and parameters in these problems make the decision making complicated. The objective of this study is to construct a decision-making process using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and balanced scorecard (BSC) for evaluating supplier and green suppliers in the manufacturing industry. The BSC concept is applied to define the hierarchy with four major perspectives and performance indicators are selected for each perspective. FAHP is then proposed in order to tolerate vagueness and ambiguity of information. Finally, FAHP is applied to facilitate the solving process. With the proposed approach, manufacturers can have a better understanding of the capabilities that supplier and green supplier must possess and can evaluate and select the most suitable supplier for cooperation.

  • As environmental protection is becoming more and more important, green production has become a key issue for almost every manufacturer and will determine a manufacturer can be sustainable in the long term. Therefore a performance evaluation system for green suppliers is necessary to determine the suitability of suppliers to cooperate with the company. While the works on the evaluation and/or selection of suppliers are abundant, those that concern environmental issues are rather limited. The objective of this study is to construct a combined model based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and balanced scorecard (ESC) for evaluating green suppliers in the manufacturing industry. The ESC concept is applied to define the hierarchy with four major perspectives (i.e. financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth), and performance indicators are selected for each perspective. FAHP is then proposed in order to tolerate vagueness and ambiguity of information. Finally, FAHP is finally constructed to facilitate the solving process.   • 복잡다단한 프로젝트 기반의 공급망관리는 여러 협력업체와의 지속적인 통합노력이 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 프로젝트 공급망에 참여한 바 있는 협력업체들의 성과를 최종적인 종속요인으로 설정하고, 기업 간 협력과 갈등, 신뢰와 관계적 규범 등과 같은 주요 선행요인 간의 상호연관관계를 분석하는데 있다. 프로젝트 공급망 참여기업으로부터 조사한 설문데이타를 토대로 분석한 결과, 기업간 협력과 갈등은 성과에 영향을 미치며, 기업 간에 인지되는 신뢰는 협력과 갈등관계에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 다만 관계적 규범은 협력관계에는 영향을 미치지만 갈등해소에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한다는 통계적 결과가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과가 프로젝트 기반의 공급망 운영에 관한 의미있는 시사점을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
