  • This study is about basic sensor experiment using PDPS by common pencil. 20 mm length, 3 mm thickness of line using 4B pencil is optimum condition. In order to be stable at point of contact between pencil line and copper wire, silver paste is needed. At using the PDPS, thermal detecting is able and thermal properties is inversely proportional to electrical resistance in the based on empirical formula. The sensor can be also used in the composites mold via the empirical formula by the relationship between thermal impact and electrical resistance. The change of electrical resistance relates the interfacial property of composites. It leads to expectation of properties.

  • Interfacial adhesion between fiber and resin are related to composites performance, so it is very important to evaluate them accurately. In this study, the interfacial properties of microdroplets under fatigue loading conditions were evaluated. The mechanical properties and interfacial adhesion of epoxy resin with dopamine were studied. Tensile specimens were prepared to evaluate mechanical properties and epoxy microdroplets specimens were used for the evaluation of interfacial adhesion. In addition, in the microdroplet fatigue test, the same diameter of the microdroplet was used and the experiment was performed under the same conditions. As a result, it was confirmed that mechanical and interfacial properties were improved when dopamine was applied to epoxy resin through tensile and microdroplet experiments. It is considered that dopamine improves the degree of curing of the epoxy resin and imparts hydroxyl groups to the epoxy resin to increase the mechanical properties and the interfacial adhesion between the glass fibers.

  • We have investigated the impact of coffee ring effect on the inkjet-printed $Al_2O_3$ thick films. In a single solvent system such as Dimethylformamide, the coffee-ring-pattern has appeared on the edge of sessile drop after evaporation. The peak-to-valley height difference in $Al_2O_3$ coffee ring is over 2um. This non-uniform deposition of $Al_2O_3$ over the surface leads to sever surface roughness of the inkjet-printed films. However, we have manipulated our printing parameters to improve the surface roughness and the packing density of the printed $Al_2O_3$ films. Our inkjet-printed $Al_2O_3$ films show 10 times smoother surface than the initially printed sample's surface. Also the packing density of the printed Ah03 film becomes 70% of high packed $Al_2O_3$. In this presentation, we would like to present the key process parameters of the inkjet printing process to overcome the genetic coffee ring problem.

  • Nickel hexacyanoferrate supported palladium nanoparticles (Pd-NiHCF NPs) were synthesized and studied for oxygen reduction reactions in direct methanol fuel cell. The NiHCF support was readily synthesized by a comixing of $Ni(OCOCH_3)_2$ and equimolar $K_3[Fe(CN)_6]$ solution into DI water under rigorous stirring. After the preparation of NiHCF support, Pd NPs were loaded on NiHCF via L-ascorbic acid reduction method at $80^{\circ}C$. Pd-NiHCF NPs were electrochemically active for oxygen reduction reaction in 0.1 M $HClO_4$ solution. X-ray absorption near edge structure analysis was conducted to measure the white line intensity of Pd-NiHCF to verify the OH adsorption. As a comparison, carbon supported Pd NPs exhibited same white line intensity. This study provides a general synthetic approach to easily load Pd NPs on porous coordination polymers such as NiHCF and can provide further light to load Pd based alloy NPs on NiHCF framework.

  • Electric power demand forecasting is one of the important research areas for future smart grid introduction. However, It is difficult to predict because it is affected by many external factors. Traditional methods of forecasting power demand have been limited in making accurate prediction because they use raw power data. In this paper, a probability-based CRBM is proposed to solve the problem of electric power demand prediction using raw power data. The stochastic model is suitable to capture the probabilistic characteristics of electric power data. In order to compare the mid-term power demand forecasting performance of the proposed model, we compared the performance with Recurrent Neural Network(RNN). Performance comparison using electric power data provided by the University of Massachusetts showed that the proposed algorithm results in better performance in mid-term energy demand forecasting.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze on the convergence for knowledge fusion in the filed of the engineering, science, aesthetics, humanities and social sciences. For the study, the related literatures were reviewed focusing on the convergence in the basis of the inter-disciplinary. In addition, interviews with 5 professors in the field of the engineering, science, aesthetics, humanities and social sciences were analyzed. The keys of analysis were perspective of academic disciplines. The findings of this study were as follows; most of professors recognized the inter-disciplinary of engineering, science, aesthetics, humanities and social sciences. But, there were some barriers engineering of professors in inter-disciplinary.

  • This paper presents a design of a transmission line negative group delay (NGD) circuit with multiple pole characteristics. By inserting an additional transmission line into a conventional NGD circuit, the proposed circuit provides further design parameters to obtain wideband group delay (GD) and to help reduce signal attenuation. As a result, the number of gain compensating amplifiers can be reduced, which can contribute to stable operation when integrated into RF systems. The multiple pole characteristics can provide wider NGD bandwidth and can be obtained by connecting resonators with slightly different center frequencies separated by quarter-wavelength transmission lines. For experimental validation, an NGD circuit with two poles GD characteristic is designed, simulated, and measured.

  • Changes in household composition and the residential environment have had a considerable impact on the features of postal delivery regions in recent years, resulting in a large increase in the overall workload of domestic postal delivery services. In this paper, we provide complex analysis results for postal delivery areas using various unsupervised learning approaches. First, we extract highly influential features using several feature-engineering methods. Then, using quantitative and qualitative cluster analyses, we find the distinctive traits and semantics of postal delivery zones. Unsupervised learning approaches are useful for successfully grouping postal service zones, according to our findings. Furthermore, by comparing a postal delivery region to other areas in the same group, workload balancing was achieved.

  • La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 precursor solution were prepared by a sol-gel method. La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films were fabricated by a spin-coating method on a Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate. Structural and electrical properties with the variation of sintering temperature were measured. All specimens exhibited a polycrystalline orthorhombic crystal structure, and the average thickness of the specimens coated 6 times decreased from about 427 nm to 383 nm as the sintering temperature increased from 740℃ to 830℃. Electrical resistance decreased as the sintering temperature increased. In the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films sintered at 830℃, electrical resistivity, TCR, B-value, and activation energy were 0.0374 mΩ·cm, 0.316%/℃, 296 K and 0.023 eV, respectively.
