Analysis of Community Residents' Recognition on Autonomous Integration of Process : The case of Goesan-gun and Jeungpyeong-gun (행정구역 자율통합의 추진 과정에서 나타난 주민인식도 분석 : 괴산군과 증평군 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes the awareness of citizens towards the autonomous integration process between Goesan-gun and Jeungpyoung-gun. According to the survey, the citizens of Goesan-gun agreed on the integration, but the citizens of Jeungpyoung-gun disagreed on the plan. This result is different from the findings of the opinion surveys which were conducted in 2009 and 2012. The reason why some citizens agreed on the integration is that the integration will help more with the systematic administration service and the convenience of administrative process. Also the citizens are expecting the expansion of the convenient facilities and the economic growth through the local festivals. In the political view, it will cut the operating cost of the two provinces. However, there are some reasons for the disagreement of the integration. The first reason is that the independent development will be more beneficial for each province. And it will be more effective if each province separately promotes the local festivals to be more productive. Nevertheless, the citizens in both areas admit the necessity of the population influx and elevating the local economy for both provinces. These two areas are expecting to have the autonomous local economy and the complementary and competitive relationship with the nearby metropolitan councils while building the Jungwon cultural zone which is supported by the regional association.

A Study on Selection Attributes and Information Sources of Optical Shop (안경원 선택속성과 정보원천에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study is to help assist in the management of optical shops by using the importance sequence of optical shop selection attributes, which is related to the consumer's selection method of consumer, and by using the importance sequence of optical shop information sources which is related to a route for optical shop selection. Methods: Customer surveys were conducted from March 10 to March 31, 2015 targeting customers who have visited an optical shop in Seoul and Northern Gyeonggi-do regions. The analys method was descriptive statistics and data were analyzed by utilizing SPSS v.10.0 statistical package program. Results: The highest ranking five attributes among the importance of optical shop selection are "friendliness and politeness of staff", "cleanliness of an optical shop", "quick resolution of customer's complaints by staff", "eyes examination and glasses dispensing skill of staff", "customer's complaints and claims handling". The lowest ranking five attributes among the importance of optical shop selection are "provide free gifts", "scale or size of an optical shop", "opening time and closing time", "convenient parking facilities", "favorable countenance of staff". The two highestr ranking criteria among the importance of optical shop information sources are "previous utilization experience", "recommendation by a relative, a friend and a family etc". The two lowest ranking criteria among the importance of optical shop information sources are "advertisement" and "spatial exterior view of optical shop". Conclusions: It is shown that the important thing in management of an optical shop is an inner caliber like ability of ophthalmic optician, interaction with customers, and previous utilization experience rather than external factors like advertisement, exterior view, and bonus gift.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual condition of tourism complex and to apply IoT-based integrated management system to tourism complex to improve the utilization and management of tourism complex. Tourists need various information to take the lead in tourism activities, and all of these necessary information is collected through various routes such as information of the Internet, travel agencies, newspapers, and surrounding experiences. Recently, information provision through the Internet has taken a large part due to the development of information technology, and systems that combine IoT technology are being constructed. This is because the popularization of IoT technology improves the diversity, accessibility and convenience of information and makes it convenient to use. The purpose of this study is to suggest the importance of tourism information service using IoT-based system and future research directions. The previous studies on IoT-based system construction were also reviewed considering the efficiency of IoT technology. In order to solve the problems of tourism complex, this study improved the IoT-based tourism complex operation system and conducted operation management. IoT-based management system is expected to be improved as a tourism complex platform and is expected to be improved by overall management cases and experiences.

The Effects on Satisfaction and Recommendation according to Orthodontic Patients' Perception of Treatment (치열교정환자의 진료인식에 따른 만족과 추천에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to offer information to medical institution of specializing in orthodontic patients by surveying the influence of orthodontic patients' perception of treatment according to orthodontic treatment upon satisfaction and recommendation with orthodontic treatment, targeting patients with completion of orthodontics who have experience of having received orthodontic treatment. As a result of SAS ver. 9.1 analysis on what was surveyed from February 2010 to August, the following conclusions were obtained. In comparing perception of treatment on orthodontic treatment according to general characteristics, women compared to men were indicated to be higher (p<0.05) in inconvenience recognition (p<0.05) on orthodontic device and in inconvenience during orthodontic treatment (p<0.05). In perception of treatment on orthodontic treatment, the inconvenience of orthodontic device accounted for 79.3%, thereby having been recognized by the majority of subjects. Even the inconvenience during orthodontic treatment was being recognized by 69.8%. The orthodontic treatment expenses appeared enough to be expected by 61.6%. The frequency of visiting hospital during orthodontic treatment was indicated as saying of having been proper by 72.8%. The period of orthodontic treatment was indicated to be proper as well by 61.2%. Even understanding about treatment contents during orthodontic treatment was indicated to be understood by 62.6%. In the results of correlation among subjects' cooperation with dental treatment, satisfaction with treatment service, recommendation of this clinic, and satisfaction with the convenient facilities, the significantly positive correlation was shown (p<0.05) in all among items in each.

Analysis of Design Status by Type at Display Store of Regional Agricultural Products: Focusing on the Survey of Farming Suppliers' Attitude and Site Examination of Rural Tourism Village (농특산품 전시판매장 디자인 현황 분석 및 유형별 분석 - 농촌관광마을 현장조사 및 농업인 공급자 의식조사를 중심으로 -)

  • With the increase of visitors to rural tourism villages, the direct selling at sites is getting vitalized. Accordingly, their display stores is getting more important. Therefore, this study has selected 30 domestic rural tourism villages as study objects for the attitude survey of 200 farming suppliers and the site examination for the designs of those display stores in order to analyze their status and classify the types of necessity. Such operation status as sale item, sale method, method of supply and demand, major customer, sales scale, manager, opening hour, and operation cost were examined, to identity and for design factors the pattern, material quality and color were investigated. For the attitude of farming suppliers, the tactics of sales, the reason for being positive or negative, the functionality and the features of display stores were examined through brainstorming. IBM SPSS Statistics 20 Program was employed for Frequency, which indicated that village chiefs and store managers with the sales scale of 1 to 20 million won are dealing with female customers in their 40's and 50's and that those stores are open at the time of experience or year round without any operation expense. Permanent type and Fixed type were found to be the design factors of the display-case type with the material and the color of wood and orange respectively. The result of investigation analysis of farming suppliers' attitude showed the followings: the need of display stores is quite high, structure type and permanent type have high fitness and from the viewpoint of display-on-table type as a standard moving type was very convenient. The analysis of significant items at the characteristics of those display stores revealed that their locations, quality conservation, sanitation, users' convenience, designs and promotion are very important. The result of status analysis revealed that though there is a correlation among the types of display stores depending on the visiting season of tourists their installing is not desirable. Three types have been analyzed: Type 1 is a structure type only in the villages with continuous visitors, Type 2 a moving-table type only in the villages with temporary visitors and Type 3 is a fixed display-case type.

A Study on the Home Health Care Needs of Postpartum Women (산욕부의 가정간호 요구도에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to understand the home health care needs of postpartum women during the postpartum period. The goal of this study was to obtain data needed to develope postpartum home health care programs and to improve the nursing quality for postpartum women. A convenient sample of 105 healthy women who were discharged after delivery at a maternity hospital in Ulsan, Korea were studied from January 25 to April 15, 2001. Data collection was done with a structured questionnaire (maternal concerns questionnaire) by mailing. Data was collected from 1 to 4 weeks after delivery. The Results of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score of home health care need of postpartum women was 2.51. The degree of nursing need according to the category of home health care needs was 'concerns about the infant ($2.91{\pm}.68$)', 'maternal physical and emotional concerns ($2.62{\pm}.52$)', 'concerns related to the husband ($2.45{\pm}.73$)', 'concerns related to the family ($2.16{\pm}.64$)', 'concerns related to the community ($2.03{\pm}.60$)' in rank. Among the items, 'recognizing illness in the newborn ($3.36{\pm}.83$)', 'normal growth and development ($3.33{\pm}.92$)' were high. 2. Among items of concerns about infant ($2.91{\pm}.68$), 'recognizing illness in the newborn ($3.36{\pm}.83$)', 'normal growth and development ($3.33{\pm}.52$)' showed high nursing needs. 3. Among items of maternal physical and emotional concerns ($2.62{\pm}.52$), 'being a good mother ($3.31{\pm}.86$)', 'return of their figures to normal ($3.04{\pm}1.05$) showed high nursing needs. 4. Among items of concerns about husband ($2.45{\pm}.73$), 'husband being a good father ($2.84{\pm}1.00$) shows high nursing needs. 5. Among items of concerns related to the community ($2.03{\pm}.60$), 'getting to health care facilities ($2.69{\pm}.90$) shows high nursing needs. 6. On considering the relationship between the postpartum women s home health care needs and their general characteristics, parity (t=2.436, p=.017) and delivery type (t=2.074, p=.041) were statistically significant.

  • Background : This research, as a part of improving management process of college hospital in this rapidly changing circumstances, is searching for the actual state of private clinics referring patients to referral center including college hospitals. Methods : This research examined the sense of satisfaction and requesting degree in using referral center and by analyzing the correlation and differences among factors such as primary factors regarded as selecting ones in referring patients to a referral center in college hospital and expecting factors expected to be supported to patients and cooperative hospitals. Results : The main researched results are as follows. First, as for the primary factors, the differences between cooperative and uncooperative hospitals revealed the fact that choosing target hospital in accordance with cooperative relation and convenient process in referring patients are important. Second, satisfaction rates, analyzed from the paired t-test revealed kindness and convenience as the top priorities, while sending patients back again and benefit of supporting such as the use of facilities were revealed as the least satisfactory aspects, despite the fact that they should be fulfilled through actual service. Conclusion : The recognition of the practitioner is examined and analyzed in this research by examining primary factors in selecting college hospitals, expecting factors expected to be supported to patients and satisfaction degree, which are expected to be used as basic materials for the development of referral center of college hospitals.

  • A theme park is a complex space, in which held is a performance & exhibition event created to make visitors feel fun and a deep impression through a certain theme. Recently, local governments are increasingly planning for theme parks with the aim of local economy revitalization. Accordingly, this paper set up a development model for a Korean culture theme park after deducting success factors for creating a successful theme park through the case of Korean culture theme park. To be concrete, this paper deducted the success factors through literature research and case research as follows: Setting of themes having identity and consistency; programs that can give fun and a deep impression; convenient support facilities reflecting customers' needs; differentiated marketing for progress in customer attraction power; location linked with cultural resources around a theme park and a space for communicating a message; privately-initiated project promotion and the main body of operation; target setting consequent on market segmentation, and demand forecast, etc. A theme park cannot be successfully operated to contribute to local economy revitalization until such success factors should be closely linked and harmonized with each other. In addition, in order for a theme park to make a continued growth, it's required that problems occurring at the operational stage should be endlessly improved, and contents strengthening should be continuously done in line with circumstances of the times and viewers' eye level.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the factor of determination on satisfaction level of the Goksung Simchung Festival. Goksung Simchung Festival has been held since 2000, and Goksung Simchung Festival 2004, which is the fifth, is holding soon. Simchung Festival has unique aspect that it is organised various experience programs and items which stress the importance of "environment" in Seomjin river and Simchung's "Hyo (filial piety)". A study is analysed through research that is consisted of satisfaction factors' items of 17 local festival visitor to study factors of determination of local festival visitor's satisfaction level. This research data is analysed statistical techniques, which are multivariate regression analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis, and extracted 4 factors, which are souvenir and food, content of the festival, convenient facilities, and publicity work. In conclusion, the festival is likely to attract more tourists and make them satisfied if better content of the festival is provided. Therefore, most of the tourists need to becoming cleared lo be satisfied due to its values of culture recognition through various contents of the festival. fun factors, and experience programs, So the manager and the director should have continual attention to satisfaction factors of local festival.

Evaluation of the Impact of Fuel Economy by Each of Driving Modes for Medium-Size Low-Floor Bus (중형저상버스의 개별주행모드에 따른 연료소비율 평가)

  • The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has introduced low-floor buses, which are convenient for passengers getting on and off the bus and for the handicapped. The standard bus model is 11 m long and uses compressed natural gas (CNG). However, this model has drawbacks in narrow rural road conditions such as those in farming and fishing villages and mountainous areas, as well as difficulty in refueling since CNG facilities are not readily available. In this study, running resistance values were obtained by coasting performance tests on actual roads using a Tata Daewoo LF-40 model with three different weight conditions: curb vehicle weight (CVW), half vehicle weight (HVW), and gross vehicle weight (GVW).The test methods include WHVC, NIER-06, and constant-speed driving at 60 km/h. These tests were used to measure the fuel economy of vehicles other than the target vehicles to obtain the combined fuel economy. The energy efficiency was highest in the case of CVW. In the WHVC mode, the fuel consumption rates of HVW and GVW were typically 3.5% and 12% higher than that of CVW, respectively. In constant-speed driving, the fuel efficiency of HVW was higher than that of CVW. Further research is required to analyze the exhaust gas data.
