베인 이간 현상에 관한 연구 (Detachment of Vane Tip in a Positive Displacement Vane Pump)

  • This paper reports on the theoretical study of the vane motions in a positive displacement vane pump. Vane detachment cause the pressure fluctuation, noise, wear in cam ring, and decrease the volumetric efficiency. Dynamic equation of vane motion and flow continuity equation have been modeled and solved simultaneously using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. As results of analysis, vane detachment occurs due to pressure overshoot by excess compression in the pumping chamber. Amount of vane detachment has been reduced by decreasing the pressure overshoot.

  • A Numerical simulation on the flow around a Rudder with blowing is performed by Finite Volume Method. The governing equations are three dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equation and Continuity equation, Flow field around a finite Rudder including tip vortex is simulated and the change of the lift force by blowing is analyzed.

  • In this paper we study the voltage-current characteristics inside the wire-plate precipitators by numerically solving the Poisson's equation and current continuity equation. The effects of a wire size, wire-wire spacing, wire-plate spacing and effective mobility have been considered.

Thick laminated circular plates on elastic foundation subjected to a concentrated load

  • In this study, the state equation for axisymmetric bending of laminated transversely isotropic circular plates on elastic foundation is established on the basis of three-dimensional elasticity. By using the expansions of Bessel functions, an analytical solution of the problem is presented. As a result, all the fundamental equations of three-dimensional elasticity can be satisfied exactly and all the independent elastic constants can be fully taken into account. Furthermore, the continuity conditions at the interfaces of plies can also be satisfied.

  • In this paper, we illustrate a counter example for the converse of a certain conjecture proposed by De Giorgi. De Giorgi suggested a series of conjectures, in which a certain integral condition for singularity or degeneracy of an elliptic operator is satisfied, the solutions are continuous. We construct some singular elliptic operators and solutions such that the integral condition does not hold, but the solutions are continuous.

  • In this paper. an accurate numerical method is used to analyze the circular waveguide filled axially with N dielectrics. From the field representations in each region, applying continuity equations and boundary conditions, a eigenvalue equation is derived. The propagation constant which satisfies the eigenvalue equation is evaluated by using numerical method and compared with some references. The results can be used to analyze the dielectric resonaters and dielectric waveguies as well as optical fibers.

  • In this paper, we determine some stability results concerning the 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic functional equation f(x+y, z+w) + f(x-y, z-w) = 2f(x, z) + 2f(y, w) in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces (IFNS). We dene the intuitionistic fuzzy continuity of the 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic mappings and prove that the existence of a solution for any approximately 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic mapping implies the completeness of IFNS.

  • In this paper, the relativistic Vlasov-Klein-Gordon system in one dimension is investigated. This non-linear dynamics system consists of a transport equation for the distribution function combined with Klein-Gordon equation. Without any assumption of continuity or compact support of any initial particle density $f_0$, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution via the iteration method.

  • Cavitating flow simulation is of practical importance for many engineering systems, such as marine propellers, pump impellers, nozzles, injectors, torpedoes, etc. The present work has focused on the simulation of cavitating flow past cylinders with strong side flows. The governing equation is the Navier-Stokes equation based on the homogeneous mixture model. The momentum and energy equation is in the mixture phase while the continuity equation is solved liquid and vapor phase, separately. An implicit dual time and preconditioning method are employed for computational analysis. For the code validation, the results from the present solver have been compared with experiments and other numerical results. A fairly good agreement with the experimental data and other numerical results have been obtained. After the code validation, the strong side flow was applied to include the wake flow effects of the submarine or ocean tide.
