A Development of Infant Education Content for Animal Study (동물모형 학습을 위한 유아교육 콘텐츠 개발)

  • In this paper to make young children to learn habits of the animals, crying, features, and English and Korean language, The system was developed to target the zoo various animals exist. If young child places a doll on the front of interesting animal, then young child can learn to look through the display connected to the model. The zoo is reducing the current appearance of the zoo, sensors that can recognize animals are attached to each cage. Attached to each sensor has a unique ID, If this approach recognizes a doll baby and will transmit a unique ID to the handler. Transmitted ID search the matched value sent from the database to retrieve the content and then the content is to be output through the output device. Also if the doll near the animal's room, young children find out animal sound and basic learning by multimedia effects. At the same time Korean, English, Mathematics are learned.

  • With the growing number of people that use web services, the perception of the importance of securing web applications is also increasing. There are many different types of attacks that target web applications. In the rapidly-changing knowledge and information society, which came into being with the advancements made in information and communication technology, there is currently an urgent need for building web sites for the purposes of developing one's creativity and character. In this paper, attack schemes that use SQL injections and XSS and target educational digital curation systems which provide educational contents with the aim of developing of one's creativity and character are analyze, in terms of how the attacks are carried out and their vulnerabilities. Furthermore, it suggests ways of dealing appropriately with these web-based attacks that use SQL injections and XSS.

A Study on Course-Embedded Assessment for Program Outcomes of Information Security Program for Engineering Education Accreditation (공학교육인증을 위한 정보보호학 프로그램의 교과 기반 학습성과 평가에 관한 연구)

  • This paper evaluates the achievement of program outcomes using course-embedded assessment for information security programs. In the case study concerning the development of course-embedded assessment used in this paper, we evaluate program outcomes using various evaluation tools including the course evaluation data. In addition, we consider the evaluation rubric and evaluation procedure for course-embedded program outcomes, set performance criteria, select the probe course with high contribution to the program outcomes according to curriculum flowchart, set course objectives for the probe course, and explain the rubric for each assessment tool to measure achievement level. Subsequently, we perform course-embedded program outcomes assessment, based on tests and projectevaluation tool for each program objectives, and present the achievement levels based analysis results. These results prove the effectiveness of the proposed course-embedded assessment for program outcomes.

  • The one of the biggest challenges in using e-mail is that it is difficult to filter out unconfirmed senders. Therefore, in this study, an email group authentication API was designed using blockchain technology, which has been widely used as an authentication method. As the proposed model, the node-node weighting index was obtained through the relationship association network, and after designing the email reliability model, the reliability calculation model of the Rotten Tomato method was obtained. Based on this, the system structure was designed, chain code methods were defined, and API was developed. Through this study, it is expected that it will be used in various fields requiring authentication as well as email user authentication, and it is expected that the relationship of group authentication can be proved by allowing a large number of users to use the API in the future.

Learning Effects of Flipped Learning based on Learning Analytics in SW Coding Education (SW 코딩교육에서의 학습분석기반 플립러닝의 학습효과)

  • The study aims to examine the effectiveness of flipped learning teaching methods by using learning analytics to enable effective programming learning for non-major students. After designing a flipped learning programming class model applied with the ADDIE model, learning-related data of the lecture support system operated by the school was processed with crawling. By providing data processed with crawling through a dashboard so that the instructor can understand it easily, the instructor can design classes more efficiently and provide individually tailored learning based on this. As a result of analysis based on the learning-related data collected through one semester class, it was found that the department, academic year, attendance, assignment submission, and preliminary/review attendance had an effect on academic achievement. As a result of survey analysis, they responded that the individualized feedback of instructors through learning analysis was very helpful in self-directed learning. It is expected that it will serve as an opportunity for instructors to provide a foundation for enhancing teaching activities. In the future, the contents of social network services related to learners' learning will be processed with crawling to analyze learners' learning situations.

A Study on Terminal Interface Adaptation for u-LMS (u-LMS를 위한 단말기 인터페이스 적응화 연구)

  • Recently, interest in u-learning to pursue effective learning by using ubiquitous environment in teaching and learning activities. In u-learning environment, learners should be able to push necessary information at the right time and the right place. Also calm technology oriented to, and this means that it can recognize learners' terminal information and to provide adaptive interface. In u-learning environment, main learning terminals would be mobile terminals which support mobility. However, learning in the existing PC environment should not be excluded. Thus, by providing adaptive interface according to various learners' terminal in LMS for u-learning, learners are able to learn through consistent and natural learning interface with any computer or any network at any place and at any time. The purpose of this study is to propose the interface adaptation based on terminal information focusing on the layout transformation process in the development environment.

Context Aware Feature Selection Model for Salient Feature Detection from Mobile Video Devices (모바일 비디오기기 위에서의 중요한 객체탐색을 위한 문맥인식 특성벡터 선택 모델)

  • Cluttered background is a major obstacle in developing salient object detection and tracking system for mobile device captured natural scene video frames. In this paper we propose a context aware feature vector selection model to provide an efficient noise filtering by machine learning based classifiers. Since the context awareness for feature selection is achieved by searching nearest neighborhoods, known as NP hard problem, we apply a fast approximation method with complexity analysis in details. Separability enhancement in feature vector space by adding the context aware feature subsets is studied rigorously using principal component analysis (PCA). Overall performance enhancement is quantified by the statistical measures in terms of the various machine learning models including MLP, SVM, Naïve Bayesian, CART. Summary of computational costs and performance enhancement is also presented.

Comparative study of RN-BSN Programs in Korea (간호학사 특별학위과정의 교육과정 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this survey study is to guide the direction of the RN-BSN program in Korea by analyzing (1) the philosophy and objectives (2) curriculum (3) and appraisal method, achievement test and self-directed learning. In this study, subjects consisted of 20 department of nursing in University and 20 RN-BSN programs in Korea. The Survey was conducted from September 1999 through May 2000 by mail and FAX. 1) Educational philosophy and objectives of 5 RN-BSN programs have curricular based philosophy. Most popular philosophies were revealed that nursing is oriented role function, human relation, and integrated application. 9 RN-BSN programs have curricular based objectives. There are including of knowledge, applying the new technology, under-standing of human being family community, application of nursing process, leadership, nursing ethics, and participation in research. 2) In RN-BSN programs, total mean credits through general college courses for earning the degree of BSN is 21.5 and total mean credits through the nursing area for earning the degree of BSN is 71.4. In RN-BSN programs, total mean credits through clinical practice for earning the degree of BSN is 5.94. 25.00 of mean credits was earned through achievement test(6.00~37.00). Therefore, this research suggests some recommendation for the development of curriculum of RN-BSN program that was required to do some alterations. And the various and other methods of earning credit should be developed. That is, the students will earn credits, accredited examination of University, advanced placement examination, case study, self-report, self-directed learning and achievement tests, portfolio review session and so on. And the RN-BSN courses are delivered to many areas by teleconferencing system, computer network(EdNet or Internet etc), CD-ROM Title, VOD (video on demand) and other methods.

A Comparison on Self-rated Health, Health Status, and Health Promotion Behaviors between Low income and Non-low income Elderly Women (저소득 여성노인과 일반 여성노인의 주관적 건강평가, 건강상태 및 건강증진행위 비교)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to compare self-rated health, health status, and health promotion behaviors between non-low income and low income elderly women in the urban setting. Method: The subjects of this study consisted of 668 Korean elderly women over 65years. The data was analyzed by the SAS(ver.8.02) computer program, and it included descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, analysis of covariance, pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate logistic regression. Results: 1) The non-low income elderly women had significantly higher scores(self-rated health, health status, and health promotion behavior) than the low income elderly women. 2) In low income elderly women, age, number of children were the main effect factors of health status, and level of education, burden of medical expense were the main effect factors of health promotion behaviors. In non-low income elderly women, number of children was the main effect factors of health status, and level of education, level of pocket money were the main effect factors of health promotion behaviors. Conclusion: This study showed that the establishment of a health care system for elderly according to their social-economic level is very important for providing productive care apposite to the situation of elderly.

Modern Reformation of So-ganui Invented during King Sejong Period and It's Altitude and Azimuth of the Sun Observations (세종시대 창제된 소간의(小簡儀)의 현대적 개조와 태양의 고도 및 방위각 관측)

  • The purpose of this study was to explain how extraordinary the scientific technology or our ancestor was from the modern perspective by remodeling the most unique astronomical instrument, So-ganui (小簡儀), developed in the Sejong Period (世宗時代) after being examined with contemporary and the principles of the science and observational technology would be properly understood and measured directly. When measuring the altitude of the sun and azimuth using So-ganui, it was adjusted with the horizontal coordinate system and measured using Jipyeonghwan (地平環), Ipeunhwan (立運環) and Guyhyeong (窺衡). Based such measuring principles, the measurement accuracy proposed using So-ganui are as follows. The remodeled So-ganui produced approximately ${\pm}0.29$ degrees error on average at high altitude while in measuring the azimuth degrees, there was difference of ${\pm}0.35$ degrees. Since the theoretically, the measurement error for So-ganui was ${\pm}0.5$ degrees, the remodeled So-ganui could accurately measure at the high altitude compared to So-ganui from the Sejong period. In the study, So-ganui, which has disappeared, has been remodeled in modern perspective to be used as the educational material to accurately understand the principles of science and measurement technology from the Sejong period. The findings could contribute to raising the reputation in the astronomical observations from the documents from the Sejong period. Furthermore, this study has materialized the celestial and sky our ancestors have viewed with the observational principles of their times, on the computer screen via a webcam, bringing out interest in the traditional science for the students.
