There is growing recognition that individuals with mental retardation are particularly vulnerable to sexual abuse due to multiple factors including life-long dependence on adults for care, trained compliance, social isolation, lack of education about sexuality and sexual abuse, and a societal view that devalues people with disabilities. Teaching about sexual abuse only may raise an individual's anxiety without promoting a healthy sexual identity. For many individuals with mental retardation, the provision of formal sexual health education and sexual abuse prevention training has been shown to be protective against exploitation as well as increase appropriate sexual behavior. To maximize the reach of formal sexual health education and abuse prevention promotion effort, this article suggest exploiting the internet and digital contents as delivery vehicles that have uniquely suitable communication characteristics and outstanding ability to reach large numbers of persons with mental retardation. We review the sexual health education programs, utilizing the internet and digital contents, for individuals with mental retardation. We also suggest the revised version of the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) model of health behaviour change (Fisher & Fisher, 1992), and give a brief discussion of how useful this model is for constructing a life-long sex education program for persons with mental retardation.

This study is a similar experimental study before and after the inequality control group to investigate the effect of PETTLEP model-based image training on fundamental nursing practice education on the confidence and competence ability of core basic nursing skills, and participation in autonomous practice. Data were collected by randomly assigning 74 students who understood the purpose of the study and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study among second-year students of the Department of Nursing at U University located in K Province, randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group. For the collected data, frequency and percentage were used for general characteristics of subjects using SPSS Statistics 23.0 program, skewness and kurtosis were used for normality test, and the dependent variable test for measuring the effect of experimental treatment was analyzed by paired t-test. As a result of the study, PETTLEP model-based image training showed confidence in core basic nursing skills(t=4.18, p<.001) and competence (knowledge(t=2.241, p=.032), nursing skills(t=8.402, p<.001)), there were statistically significant differences in self-practice participation(t=6.822, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, the PETTLEP model-based image training provided Based on the results of this study, it was confirmed that PETTLEP model-based image training can be a teaching and learning method applicable to basic nursing education. In addition, PETTLEP model-based image training is expected to be utilized as a learning method to improve the competence of core basic nursing skills, which are recognized as difficult due to their high level of difficulty.
The 2015 revised curriculum is structured around the core competencies of the 21st century, this is in line with the world's flow of education, such as OECD Education 2030. A future practical leading model was studied to provide a variety of creative teaching and learning experiences to elementary and Secondary students using intelligent information technology to cultivate core competencies such as ICT and computing thinking. In order for this practical model to stably settle the school field, the training was planned and operated to strengthen the creative convergence education capacity required by the teachers at the unit school through various types of the training. In particular, a nationwide administrators training program was operated for three years, reflecting the new curriculum, teaching and learning methods, and evaluation that can lead to future convergence talent training. In this paper, the perception of creative convergence education was investigated and analyzed considering the influence that administrators may have on the school field. Based on this, through the three-year operation results of the training, it was intended to establish a new training method for stable access to future creative convergence education under the post-corona era's social issues.
Writing is a subjective and performative activity. Writing ability has multi-facets and compoundness. To understand the examinees's writing ability accurately and provide effective writing scores, raters first ought to have the competency regarding assessment. Therefore, this study is significant as a fundamental research about rater's characteristics on the TOPIK writing assessment. 150 scripts of the 47th TOPIK examinees were selected randomly, and were further rated independently by 20 raters. The many-facet Rasch model was used to generate individualized feedback reports on each rater's relative severity and consistency with respect to particular categories of the rating scale. This study was analyzed using the FACETS ver 3.71.4 program. Overfit and misfit raters showed many difficulties for noticing the difference between assessment factors and interpreting the criteria. Writing raters appear to have much confusion when interpreting the assessment criteria, and especially, overfit and misfit teachers interpret the criteria arbitrarily. The main reason of overfit and misfit is the confusion about assessment factors and criteria in finding basis for scoring. Therefore, there needs to be more training and research is needed for raters based on this type of writing assessment characteristics. This study is recognized significantly in that it collectively examined writing assessment characteristics of writing raters, and visually confirmed the assessment error aspects of writing assessment.

The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum for international social workers. Due to the changed circumstances of social welfare agencies, the demand for international social welfare and the need for suitable training for social welfare education agencies has increased. This study explored the job competency of international social welfare and suggested a competency-based curriculum for international social welfare. Researchers analyzed the social welfare NCS, social welfare curriculum and job of international development cooperation agencies and presented a combined curriculum for international development cooperation and social welfare. The purpose of this study is to analyze priorities of competencies and to find the direction of development of teacher librarian training and retraining program. A total of 238 subjects were used for the final analysis. They were analayzed using IPA, Borich's needs analysis and the Locus for Focus model. As a result, First, teacher librarians perceived that the importance and performance of teacher and manager competency were higher than information specialist and cooperative leader. Second, they needed competencies of data-science, coding, Internet of Things in the field of information specialist as changing educational environment. Third, they needed competencies of information ethics, copyright instruction, and digital and media literacy education in the field of teacher. Fourth, they needed competencies of facility designing for future education, online and offline school library marketing skills, and establishment of makerspaces and learning commons in the field of ibrary manager. Fifth, they needed competencies of library based instruction, library cooperative instruction, and building a collection related to subject in the field of cooperative leader. Sixth, the highest required competency for teacher librarians was suggested for teacher librarians' role area.
Capstone design is a creative and comprehensive educational program requiring practical adaptation skills for the industry. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of design development, lectures and curriculum satisfaction for textile fashion products based on four years of capstone design curriculum from 2015 to 2018. The curriculum consists of 26 groups of 72 students and a total of 26 final results were obtained via industry-university cooperation. The materials for product design development included differentiated clothing, leisure goods, bags, dog goods, smart goods, interior goods and recycled products based on textiles. The degree of satisfaction with lectures involving the capstone design class was very high, with 4.2 out of 5.0 when the number of students was less than 10. However, when the number of students was 20 or higher and the number of students was large, the level of satisfaction was below 3.88. Therefore, the capstone design class comprising less than 10 students was better at individual teaching and teamwork. In terms of satisfaction with capstone design curriculum, the respondents indicated that the teaching method addressing the needs of industry and academia facilitated practical learning. It was very helpful in improving competency related to the design and development majors and future employment. The capstone design curriculum was effective in the training for practical design development and planning.

This study investigated differences in learning styles and learning strategies according to learning factors: major fields, achievements, and grades and differences in learning strategies according to learning styles for college students. Unlike previous studies that analyzed differences focused on the dominant learning style, the learning style was subdivided into a balanced and dominant learning style. In the analysis of the 179 participants in M colleges, it was found that the difference between the learning style and the learning strategy according to the learning factors was not significant. But, there was a significant difference in the use of cognitive strategies according to the learning style in the dimension of information input, and in the use of all strategies according to the information processing style. It was analyzed that active learners had a high level of using cognitive strategies, visual learners had a high level of using external strategies, and balanced learners had a high level of using internal strategies. Based on the results, the training strategies to understand the learning style and to improve the level of use of the learning strategy in the learning competency improvement program was proposed.
With the development of IT technology, along with the expansion of women's participation in society, the education training of information security women's workforce is becoming a very important issue. Therefore, it is important to analyze the relevant curriculum to identify the direction of fostering women's information security workforce. Therefore, in this paper, the education and training programs of the department for training women's information security workforce based in Seoul area of the Korean metropolitan area were analyzed. The main research objective of this paper is to review whether the education and training system, which consists of the department of women's information security human resources development, is in line with the direction of NIST's human resources development. The research focus was on what the women's information security department organizes courses with each security major and what task training is interested in. In addition, in this paper, we were confirmed that the curriculum of the relevant major is based on the NIST Human Resources Development Framework, and that the majors of the relevant universities have an education and training system that conforms to the relevant task. In conclusion, the related majors are judged to be focused on the development of certification evaluation personnel of convergence industry security or information security development personnel, and general cyber security personnel.
Purpose: To date, there is no region-specific guideline for pediatric endoscopy training. This study aimed to illustrate the current status of pediatric endoscopy training in Asia-Pacific region and identify opportunities for improvement. Methods: A cross-sectional survey, using a standardized electronic questionnaire, was conducted among medical schools in the Asia-Pacific region in January 2024. Results: A total of 57 medical centers in 12 countries offering formal Pediatric Gastroenterology training programs participated in this regional survey. More than 75% of the centers had an average case load of <10 cases per week for both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies. Only 36% of the study programs employed competency-based outcomes for program development, whereas nearly half (48%) used volume-based curricula. Foreign body retrieval, polypectomy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, and esophageal variceal hemostasis, that is, sclerotherapy or band ligation (endoscopic variceal sclerotherapy and endoscopic variceal ligation), comprised the top four priorities that the trainees should acquire in the autonomous stage (unconscious) of competence. Regarding the learning environment, only 31.5% provided formal hands-on workshops/simulation training. The direct observation of procedural skills was the most commonly used assessment method. The application of a quality assurance (QA) system in both educational and patient care (Pediatric Endoscopy Quality Improvement Network) aspects was present in only 28% and 17% of the centers, respectively. Conclusion: Compared with Western academic societies, the limited availability of cases remains a major concern. To close this gap, simulation and adult endoscopy training are essential. The implementation of reliable and valid assessment tools and QA systems can lead to significant development in future programs.
