중환자실과 응급실 초보간호사를 위한 맞춤형 시뮬레이션 학습프로그램 개발 및 효과 (The Development and Effects of a Tailored Simulation Learning Program for New Nursing Staffs in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Rooms)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a tailored simulation learning (SL) program and to evaluate the effects of the program on the clinical competency, clinical decision-making competency, and communicative competency of new nursing staffs in intensive care units (ICU) and emergency rooms (ER). Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, fifteen nurses were assigned to the experimental group and fifteen to the control group. The experimental group was given the SL program of four sessions, whereas the lectures of four sessions were given to the control group. Data were analyzed using a $x^2$-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis test with an SPSS program. Analysis of covariance was used to treat the covariate of pre communicative competency between the experimental and control groups. Results: Based on the education needs of new nursing staffs in ICUs and ERs, three learning scenarios and one evaluating scenario were developed for the SL program. The score for clinical competency, clinical decision-making competency, and communicative competency were significantly higher in the experimental group compared with the control group. Conclusion: The SL program is an effective learning strategy for new nursing staffs in ICUs and ERs. These findings suggest that an SL program be offered as an alternative for new nurse orientation and continuing nurse education.

RN-BSN 과정 학생의 간호실무 수행능력 분석 (Analysis of RN-BSN Students' Clinical Nursing Competency)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate RN-BSN students' clinical nursing competency in order to establish baseline data for developing nursing competency based clinical education for RN-BSN students. Method: A survey of 1,453 RN-BSN students from 21 nursing schools was conducted using a self administered questionnaire. Result: The mean score of the clinical nursing competency was 2.93. The scores for competency were shown as 2.91 for nursing management, 2.94 for developing professionalism & legal implementation, 2.95 for critical thinking, 2.96 for teaching & leadership, and data collection, basic nursing care, and communication were above 3.00. The items perceived as insufficient competency were physical examination and observation & monitoring in data collection, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, psycho-social care, spiritual care, hospice in basic nursing care, application of knowledge and theory, formulating nursing diagnosis, nursing care planning in critical thinking, education material development, leadership, delegation in teaching and leadership, analysis of organization, planning, infection control, role & job description, evaluation of nursing activities in nursing management, quality improvement, and research in developing professionalism and legal implementation. Conclusion: This study will contribute to developing a nursing competency based on clinical education for RN-BSN students who have various education needs and clinical backgrounds.

중소병원 간호사의 비판적 사고성향과 셀프리더십이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nurses' Critical Thinking Disposition and Self-Leadership on Clinical Competency in Medium Sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify nurses'critical thinking disposition, self-leadership and clinical competency in small to medium sized hospitals less than 300beds. Methods: Data were collected using the questionnaire from 227 nurses in Incheon city and Gyeonggi province from March to April, 2017. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and $Scheff{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ test to identify differences in critical thinking disposition, self-leadership and clinical competency. Pearson correlation coefficients were used to identify the correlation among the study variables, and multiple regression was used to identify factors contributing to clinical competency. Results: There were significant differences in critical thinking disposition according to age, marital status, clinical career, career in currently working department and education about leadership. Significant differences in self-leadership were identified according to marital status, work position, working department, work type, education about leadership, and turnover intention. Clinical competency was significantly different depending on age, education, monthly income, work position, career in currently working department, work type, education about critical thinking disposition and education about leadership. Clinical competency was positively correlated critical thinking disposition and self-leadership. Critical thinking deposition, monthly income and self-leadership explained 30.1% of clinical competency of nurses working in small to medium sized hospitals. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that we need to improve nurses'critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, and the clinical competency.

컴퓨팅 사고력 측정을 위한 추상화 역량 평가 기준 개발 (The Development of Abstractable Competency Assessment Standards for the Measurement of Computational Thinking)

  • Wing은 21세기를 살아가기 위한 역량으로 컴퓨팅 사고력의 중요성을 역설하였다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨팅 사고력의 추상화를 관련 연구를 통해 객체 추상화, 데이터 추상화, 절차 추상화로 분류하였다. 또한 추상화 역량 평가를 위해 추상화 성취기준과 평가기준을 개발하였다. 학교 현장에 적용한 결과 학생들은 문제 해결을 위해 글과 그림으로 표현하는 객체 추상화, 데이터 추상화 역량은 우수하지만, 컴퓨터 프로그램으로 작성하는데 어려움을 겪고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 추상화 역량 평가는 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 학생 지도에 많은 도움을 줄 것이다.

1인 가구 시대의 가정과교육 방향 탐색 (Exploring the Direction of Home Economics Education in Preparation for the Generalization of a One-Person Household)

  • This study explores the social phenomenon of the universalization of one-person households through a literature analysis and text mining in order to explore a future direction for Home Economics Education(HEE) development in the one-person household era. From 2010 to 2018, texts from newspaper articles and book content of one-person households were analyzed through R program. The results of the study are as follows. In order to develop students' competency to live a happy life in the one-person household era, it is necessary to: (1) expand the preemptive and collaborative research of HEE, (2) develop and operate a curriculum to raise the living competency to live alone, (3) expand opportunities for secondary school students as well as off-campus youth, middle-aged, and elderly students, and (4) develop various HEE's elective curriculum focusing on the ability to live as one-person household. Also, (5) in order to overcome the psychological and social poverty and isolation of one-person households, HEE should strengthen the learner's ability to form relationships through self-esteem, care of others, community life, communication and conflict resolution education. In conclusion, HEE's independent living competency, relationship formation competency, and practical problem solving competency are all necessary competencies to live in one-person households. In this study, it is meaningful to suggest a future direction for HEE and to use new research methods such as word cloud techniques in the absence of HEE's previous research in relation to the increase of one-person households.

부산광역시 지방공무원 역량평가제도의 인식에 대한 연구 (A Study on Local Government Employee's Perception about Competency Assesment System in Busan Metropolitan City)

  • This study investigates the awareness about competency assessment of the candidates for fourth class promotion, the competency factors and its operation, so that we find its problems and solutions. We carried out a questionnaire survey targeting the 64 candidates in April 2016. The results of this study are as follows. First, the candidates think that competency assessment system is helpful in improving reliability and fairness of promotion system and in eradicating nepotism. Second, the required competency factors needed to perform the role of fourth class public official are direction guidance, fostering, communication, integrative thinking, achievement management and power of execution in sequence. Third, in managing the competency assessment system, compulsory competency is considered more importantly than differentiated competency. Fourth, the candidates think that the competency assessment system can be applied advantageously to particular groups. Fifth, sufficient training period and information about the competency assessment system should be provided to solve the many problems caused by the lack of advance information about the system.

  • The relationship between education and work is of the greatest concern to individuals and society because they are the key drivers of growth and development. In the context of Industry 4.0, labor and educators are facing the challenges of big changes in the workplace. How to prepare undergraduate students for the world of employment has become the most important mission of higher education providers. This paper explored the competency gap in the labor market in Vietnam from the perspective of employees who have been dissatisfied with the current status. First, a qualitative method with the Delphi technique was applied to confirm this consensus in an employees' competency model. Then, the satisfaction level for each competency criterion was explored by applying the advance quantitative method, namely, best non-fuzzy performance approach. Lifelong learning was ranked first, followed by creativity and innovation, foreign languages, expertise and digitalization, adaptability, and finally, organizing and managing ability. Critical thinking and problem-solving were perceived to have the biggest gap. The order of competency satisfaction is useful in explaining the mismatch between education quality and labor market demand. The findings provide valuable guidelines for education managers who seek to bridge the competency gap and improve education quality.

대학생의 창의역량 함양을 위한 SW교과목 운영 효과 검증 (Development of Software Course Model and Verification of its Effects to Foster Creative Competency of University Students)

  • 최근 초 중등의 SW교육 필수화, SW중심대학 사업 등 SW교육 중요성이 강조되고 있고, 함께 역량 교육에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 SW교육을 통해 창의역량 향상에 효과가 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 15주 분량의 창의역량 초점을 둔 SW교육 수업을 설계하였으며, 진단도구를 개발하였다. 설계된 수업으로 15주 수업을 진행하였으며, 1주차에는 사전검사를, 15주차에는 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 창의역량 평균값이 사후 검사 때 0.31점 높게 나타났으며 p값도 0.002점으로 나타나 유의한 차이가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 창의역량의 4가지 세부 요인(융통성, 독창성, 개방성, 창의적 실행능력)의 p값도 0.05보다 낮게 나타나서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 SW교육에서 단순 프로그래밍 교육뿐만 아니라 수업 방법 변화를 통해서도 창의역량 향상에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 평생직업개발에 대한 중요성 인식, MOOC의 확산과 온라인 교육에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 평생직업능력개발을 위한 교육 시스템 마련을 위한 노력이 계속되고 있으나 기술공학분야의 역량기반 평가 도구와 시스템에 대한 설계 개발에 대한 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 평생직업능력개발을 위한 기술공학분야의 직무역량을 평가하기 위한 시스템(Competence-based Assessment System for Lifelong Vocational Competency Development : CBAS-LVCD)을 설계 및 구축하였다. CBAS-LVCD는 NCS 기반 루브릭 평가 도구를 사용하여 학습자를 평가하고 기술공학분야에서 사용할 시뮬레이션 도구를 제공한다. 이는 실습과 온라인 시험이 제한적인 기술 엔지니어링 분야의 실무에 필요한 역량을 평가하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

진로교육 집중학년·학기제에서 진로개발역량 강화를 위한 교과통합 진로교육 방안 연구 - 2015 개정 기술·가정교육과정을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development of Subjects-integrated Career Education to Improve Career Development Competency in a Career Education Intensive Semester & Grade System: Focusing on 2015 Revised Technology & Home Economics Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 진로개발역량 강화를 위한 가정교과통합 진로교육을 활성화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 교과통합 진로교육의 동향, 고등학교 가정과 성취기준과 진로개발역량과의 관계 분석 및 가정교과통합 진로교육 방안을 탐색하고, 수업 사례를 개발하였다. 이 연구의 주요한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 교과통합 진로교육의 중요성에도 불구하고 운영에 미흡한 점이 많다. 이에 2015 개정교육과정의 적용과 진로교육 집중학년 학기제의 확산을 앞두고 있는 시점에서 교과통합 진로교육을 위한 체계적인 준비가 요구된다. 둘째, 가정교과 3개 영역의 모든 성취기준은 진로개발역량과 관련성이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 가정교과는 학교 진로교육의 목표를 달성하고, 미래 인재로서 갖추어야 할 진로개발역량을 길러주는 핵심적인 교과임을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 진로개발역량 강화를 위해 교육과정-교수 학습-평가의 연계를 중심으로 가정교과통합 진로수업 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 제한점은 개발된 수업 사례를 현장에 적용하지 못해 그 효과를 확인하지 못한 것이다. 하지만 본 연구는 가정교과와 진로교육의 통합을 위한 기초 자료로서, 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 가정교과의 진로교육 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
