  • In the setting of extended quasi b-metric spaces, we introduce a new concept called "extended A-contraction". We then use our concept to prove a common fixed point result for a pair of self mappings under a set of conditions. Also, we provide the concepts of extended B-contraction and extended R-contraction. We then establish a common fixed point under these new contractions. Our results generalize many existing result of fixed point in metric spaces. Furthermore, we give an example to illustrate and support our result.

  • This study intents to provide useful information of effective office works by evaluating existing office work environment. It focuses on evaluating the quality of personal and common work spaces, comparing responses for user groups to their work environment, and identifying factors which affect the satisfaction of work environment . The study is based on the survey which has been answered by 193 respondents from 24 companies (mainly from large corporate companies) in Seoul. This study finds out that noise is the most serious problem in common work space and that environmental comfort and the size of common space are not satisfactory in their effective work. It identifies that open space work environment, which has been expansively provided for a long time, causes noise problem and deprives office workers of privacy and personalization opportunities. The respondents reply that meeting spaces are not enough in number and size and lack of privacy and its adequate quality . They respond that privacy , chair comfortness and storage spaces are important factors for personal work spaces. In order to improve the quality and efficiency of work, this study proposes that companies should provide convenient office facilities which considering human ergonomic and should educate professional facility managers.

  • In this paper, we introduce new random iterative sequences with errors approximating a unique random common fixed point for three random set-valued strongly pseudo-contractive mappings and show the convergence of the random iterative sequences with errors by using an approximation method in real uniformly smooth separable Banach spaces. As applications, we study the existence of random solutions for some kind of random nonlinear operator equations group in separable Hilbert spaces.

  • In the present paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for single-valued and set-valued occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces. Our results improve and extend the results of Chen and Chang [Chi-Ming Chen and Tong-Huei Chang, Common fixed point theorems in Menger spaces, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 2006 (2006), Article ID 75931, Pages 1-15].

  • In this paper, we establish a unique common fixed point theorem for T-contraction of two self maps on generalized cone b-metric spaces with solid cone. The result of this paper improves and generalizes several well-known results in the literature. Two examples are also given to support the result.

  • A common fixed point result for weakly increasing mappings satisfying generalized contractive type in ordered partial S-metric spaces are derived. Also as an application of our results we consider a couple integral equations.to guarantee the existence of a common solution.

  • In this paper, we first prove a common fixed point theorem for generalized nonlinear contraction mappings in complete metric spaces there by generalizing and extending some known results. Then we present this result in the context of ordered metric spaces by using monotone non-decreasing mapping.
