  • The flower, a symbol of beauty representing beauty, exists as an aesthetic object throughout the history of mankind, and is one of the motifs most often used in plastic art. In this way, flower art is an art that embodies a form based on the theme of flowers. The flowers played a role in expressing human happiness and love by harmonizing beautifully with each other in shape and color. The flower pattern containing this symbolism is beautiful and excellent in decoration, and is applied not only to household goods, but also to art and fashion. The flower pattern is the most preferred pattern among patterns, and it is widely used regardless of the four seasons by changing the color according to the color and flowering time, and it is effective in stimulating the symbolism and psychological sense of humans, so it is used in design in various fields. In this study, the flower pattern, which is a symbol of beauty representing beauty and the motif of art, has been traditionally used in Korea, and is still loved in fashion and art even in modern times. We hoped to be active, and through this study, we tried to develop our own unique flower pattern and lay the groundwork for it to be commercialized.

  • The elements to enhance preference in symbol design are mainly related to consumers' response and aesthetic elements. Because certain aesthetic elements in design affect consumers' response and it is actually presented through (the different level of) preference. This study through surveying case studies examines whether a certain aesthetic element in symbol design gives rise to much preference. According to the result of study, high preference in symbolic design depends on high level of Rhythm, Balance, Harmony, Elaboration, Round, Gestalt, Organic, and Artificial/Natural among aesthetic elements. In comparison, it is founded that Simplicity/complexity, Objective/Abstract, depth, and symmetry should be designed at the moderate level, and proportion, repetition of elements be at the low level. Additionally(or Besides) this study makes out that symbol design cases with high preference have shapes from natural material or patterns of traditional culture, while cases with low preference have shapes from geometric figures. On the basis of these results, a guideline of symbol design could De offered(or suggested) to fit preference of consumers. But, this study is mostly concerned with only affect among emotional reactions of consumer in a scope of study, and is considered only in the aspect of form excluding color and texture.

In the movie, the main character Geumja has double personality, having both images of a wicked woman and a woman saint, and she showed the clothing of both good and evil. For example, while she was in prison, her prisoner uniform while she was taking care of her inmates, her pajama which is the symbol of innocence when she was atoning and praying, Geumja's appearance wasn't fabulous when she was wearing baker's cloth that symbolize pure inside. But in contrast, Geumja who was released from prison planned and execute vengeance, dress colorful dress and primary color make-ups. Blue color coat with gloomy mood, black leather coat with the image of female warrior, and the slip with intensive image and etc express Geumja's will of revenge. Like this, depend on the psychology of main character Geumja, it's easy to recognize the change of clothing and color, and it's possible to understand the symbolic meaning in it.
