중학교 지리 교과서에 재현된 개발 담론 분석 (Development Discourse and Its Representation in Middle School Geography Textbooks)

  • 이 연구는 개발 담론의 변화에 대한 고찰을 통해 우리나라 중학교 지리교육과정 및 지리교과서에 재현된 개발 담론의 특징을 분석한 것이다. 개발 담론은 근대화이론, 종속이론, 신자유주의, 풀뿌리 개발, 지속가능한 개발, 탈식민주의 탈구조주의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 이에 근거하여 지리교과서에 재현된 개발담론을 분석하였는데. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개발 및 지속가능한 개발에 대한 개념 정립과 조작적 정의가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개발의 척도는 주로 1인당 국내총생산 또는 1인당 국민총소득과 같은 평균적인 경제적 척도에 의존하고 있었다. 교육수준과 평균수명을 포함한 인간개발지수는 일부 교과서에서만 언급되고, 젠더 지수는 전혀 언급하고 있지 않았다. 셋째, 특정 교과서는 개발도상국 대신에 편견적인 저개발국, 최저개발국이라는 용어를 여전히 사용하고 있었다. 넷째, 경제적 불평등 및 지리적 문제 해결을 위한 방안에서는 국제적, 국가적, 비정부조직의 차원에 대한 강조에 비해 개인적 측면에 대한 고려가 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 지속가능한 개발 있어서 세대 간 공정만 언급할 뿐 세대 내 공정은 간과하고 있다. 그리고 지속가능한 개발에 대한 접근은 주로 생태중심적 접근보다는 기술중심적 접근에 토대하고 있다. 이상과 같은 결과를 통해 볼 때, 지리교과서 서술에 있어서 개발 담론에 대한 더욱 더 신중한 접근이 요구된다고 할 수 있다.

정형물리치료 강의평가 분석 (Evaluation of lecture delivered by O.M.T. on the subject of Orthopedic Physical Therapy)

  • This evaluation was made through 1219 persons who had attended the lecture organized by O.M.T.( Orthopeadic Manual Therapy ) during the period of January to December 1998 in Seoul and in other 11 cities. The result of evaluation is summarized as follows : 1. With regard to general satisfaction with lecture, it was evaluated as 'more than good 'by 919 person(75.6%) for Preparation for lecture of lecturer' and by 969 person (71.4%) for 'Teaching Method'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Couse and Preparation for Lecture of Lecturer' and 'Preparation for Lecture as per each Lecturer' (P< 0.001). 2. With regard to understanding of lecture, it was evaluated as 'more then good' by 675 persons(55.4%) for 'Appropriate Degree of Lecture Difficulties'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Appropriateness of Teaching Courses and Degree of Lecture Difficulties' (P< 0.001). Degree of Lecture Difficulties' (P< 0.001). 3. With regard to satisfaction with lecture's performance, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 969 persons (87.7%) for 'Lecturer's Zeal for Teaching" and by 751 persons(61.6%) for 'Suitability of Textbook'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Sex Distinction and Lectuer's Zeal for Teaching' (P< 0.001) and 'Lecturer and Suitability of Textbook' (P< 0.001). 4. With regard to teaching environment, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 464 persons(38.2%) for 'Appropriateness of Teaching Environment' and by 751 persons(61.8%) for 'provision of Appropriate Audio-Visual Aids for Teaching', Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'place and Appropriateness of audio-visual aids for Teaching' (P< 0.001). 5. With regard to parctical use of lecture, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 805 persons(67.5%) for 'Usefulness to clinical demonstration' and by 873 person(71.7%) for 'Attitude towards study'. With the result of evaluation made as in the above, we are able to see that the education of orthopedic physical therapy which is organized by Orthpedic Physical Therapy Society of Korea, is being successfully conducted and evaluated by its members, and furthermore the staff of this society has to make his best endeavoures for the growth of this society and for the development of this education.

Reading Activity impact on the Engineering Management Learners' Efficiency in Research Presentation

  • One of the activities that are almost used by instructors to assess the undergraduate learners (students) performances in the teaching and learning system is performing researches. It's most probably that learners prepare a presentation for the research, through which they conduct their ideas to the audiences (the instructor and their colleagues). Recently, a phenomenon was monitored regarding the research preparation process practiced by the learners, that the majority go directly to the websites, in which they could easily find tons of attractive and ready-made information that fill the gaps of their heavy homework gained from several courses. It's a convenient activity for learners to go through this easy path to fulfil their duties, but the issue is that the output of such path is so weak. The gained information in this case is so shallow, loose, and could easily been evaporated after a while. There is a need to examine the impact of a missing skill in the current learners' generation: the reading practice. It's noticed that library visits to read books were strongly decreased compared with what was happening in the older generations, where the piece of information was hard to collect, but in the same time, is hard to be forgotten. As a part of the teaching and learning process, and through a college of Engineering, this study will introduce results of the comparison between the outputs of the two methods of collecting information: through the web, and through the traditional book reading. This is to highlight the importance of reading through an experiment applied on one section of students who were asked to prepare a research from a certain chapter of their textbook, and compare that with a prior research they had prepared from the websites. The results were impressive and reflected the importance of the missed reading activity.

방제학 공통교재에 수재할 곽향정기산(藿香正氣散)의 배오(配伍) 분석 (Analysis of Agastache Powder to Rectify the Ki Combination for the Formula Science Common Textbook)

  • Objectives : Proposed a formula analysis standard about the individual formula which is to be put in the specific discussions in order to increase the effect of formula education at the college of Korean medicine. Methods : Examined the ingredient combination analysis written in Agastache Powder to Rectify the Ki which was put in the 27kinds of formula science book published in both Korea and China. Results : Must analyze the formula according to the existing formula. The combination of the ingredients should be analyzed into herb pairs such as seven different combinations. The effect and disease for which medicine is efficacious, should be analyzed and tabulated by Agastache Powder to Rectify the Ki. The formula should be anlayzed and schematized by the sytem of Chief, Deputy, Assistant and Envoy. The basic formula should be analyzed and schematized by the combination of formula, adding and removing the ingredients. Analyzing Agastache Powder to Rectify the Ki into the system of Chief, Deputy, Assistant and Envoy shows the following: chief herb is Agastaches Herba; deputy herb is Perillae Folium and Angelicae dahuricae Radix; assistant herb is Pinelliae Rhizoma preparatum, Magnoliae officinalis Cortex, Citri reticulatae Pericarpium, Arecae Pericarpium, Platycodi Radix, Atractylodis macrocephalae Rhizoma, Poria, and envoy herb is Glycyrrhizae Radix preparata, Zingiberis Rhizoma recens, Jujubae Fructus. Conclusions : In conclusion, it is believed that the formula education at colleges of Korean medicine would be effectively achieved if it is processed according to the standardized formula analysis and its rule about individual formula that is to be decided.

묽은 용액의 성질에 대한 화학전공 예비교사들의 이해 및 화학교사 양성교육에 대한 인식 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Chemistry Major Pre-service Teacher's Understanding about the Properties of Dilute Solutions and Perception on Teacher Education Curriculum)

  • 이 연구에서는 화학교육을 전공하는 4명의 예비교사들과 화학을 전공한 2명의 예비교사들을 대상으로 고등학교 화학II 교과서에 제시된 "묽은 용액의 성질" 단원에 관련된 개념의 이해를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 예비교사들 중에 고등학교 화학II 교과서에 제시된 내용을 깊이 있게 이해하는 예비교사들이 많지 않았으며, 묽은 용액의 성질에 관련된 오개념을 가지고 있는 경우도 나타났다. 그리고 사범대학에서 화학교육을 전공한 예비교사들의 이해수준과 비사범대학에서 화학을 전공한 예비교사들의 이해수준은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연구에 참여한 대부분의 예비교사들은 대학과 상관없이 그들의 예비교사 교육과정에서 실천적 지식이 부족하다고 느끼고 있었다.

비전공자를 위한 알고리즘씽킹 기반 소프트웨어 기초교육 설계 (Design of Algorithm Thinking-Based Software Basic Education for Nonmajors)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design the curriculum of Basic College Software Programming to develop creative and logical-thinking. This course is guided by algorithmic thinking and logical thinking that can be solved by computing for problem-solving, and it helps to develop by software through basic programming education. Through the stage of problem analysis, abstraction, algorithm, data structure, and algorithm implementation, the curriculum is designed to help learners experience algorithm problem-solving in various areas to develop diffusion thinking. For Learners aim to achieve the balanced development of divergent and convergent-thinking needed in their creative problem-solving skills. Research design, data and methodology: This study is to design a basic software education for improving algorithm-thinking for non-major. The curriculum designed in this paper is necessary to non-majors students who have completed the 'Creative Thinking and Coding Course' Design Thinking based are targeted. For this, contents were extracted through advanced research analysis at home and abroad, and experts in computer education, computer engineering, SW education, and education were surveyed in the form of quasi-openness. Results: In this study, based on ADD Thinking's algorithm thinking, we divided the unit college majors into five groups so that students of each major could accomplish the goal of "the ability to internalize their own ideas into computing," and extracted and designed different content areas, content elements and sub-components from each group. Through three expert surveys, we established a strategy for characterization by demand analysis and major/textbook category and verified the appropriateness of the design direction to ensure that the subjects and contents of the curriculum are appropriate for each family in order to improve algorithm-thinking. Conclusions: This study helps develop software by enhancing the ability of students who practice various subjects and exercises to explore creative expressions in various areas, such as 'how to think like a computer' that can implement and execute their ideas in computing. And it helps increase the ability to think logical and algorithmic computing based on creative solutions, improving problem-solving ability based on computing thinking and fundamental understanding of computer coding and development of logical thinking ability through programming.

불면증에 대한 동서의학의 약물치료 비교 분석 (A Comparison Research of Eastern and Western Medication on the Insomnia)

  • Objectives : There has not been the comparison research of medication on the Insomnia as the complementary significance of the Oriental-Western Cooperative Therapeutic Viewpoint so far. The aim of this preliminary research is to study Eastern and Western Medication Model for the Insomnia through the comparison of Oriental Medication based on "Sang Han Lon" and "Dong yui bo gam". Methods : The author researched oriental-western viewpoints and the present treatment condition of Sleep and Sleeping Pills with reference to Korean articles issued since 1975, dissertations, journals registered or candidated on KCI, alternative medicine journals on Pubmed, and books concerning Neuropsychiatry. In the field of Oriental medical study, this study was demonstrated on "The Oriental Medical textbook of neuropsychiatry", "Sang han lon", "Dong yui bo gam" and the present research trend. Results : In Oriental Medicine, Insomnia is treated according to si-jie-bu-shui-zung (思結不睡證) type, rong-xie-bu-zu-zung (榮血不足證) type, yin-her-nae-re-zung (陰虛內熱證) type, xin-dan-her-qie-zung (心膽虛怯證) type, dam-xian-yu-jie-zung (痰涎鬱結證) type, and wei-zhong-bu-he-zung (胃中不和證) type etc. In Western Medicine, Insomnia has been treated by Barbiturate over 60's and BZ over 70's. According to recent treatment on Insomnia, Zolpidem or Zaleplon, which is short-lived and has less side effects, is used much, and tri-cyclic antidepressants are prescribed on a chronic psycho-physiological insomnia. Conclusions : Generally, Insomnia is being treated by controlling whole ways. The oriental medication is less effective for sleep induction. On the contrary, that of western medication is very effective for sleep induction, but there are many possibilities of side effects. If this two mutual therapy is conducted cooperatively, more effective medical care might be expected. Therefore, it is considered that not only the oriental medical study for sleep induction, but the study of Oriental-Western Cooperative Therapy should be preceded to treat Insomnia from now on.

문과대학 학생들의 전공독서 실태 분석 연구: A대학교를 중심으로 (A Study of Reading of Major Subject Books by Liberal Arts College Students: Focusing on a University)

  • 본 연구는 A대학교 문과대학 학생들을 중심으로 독서역량과 전공독서 실태를 조사 분석하여 문제점을 파악, 개선방안을 모색하기 위해 수행되었다. A대학교 문과대학에 재학 중인 1~4학년 남녀 학생 457명을 분석한 결과, 첫째 학과별 독서역량에 집단 간 어휘력과 독해력, 속독력에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째 전공독서 실태에서는 전체 학과에서 독서를 하지 않는 학생이 66.9%에 달하고, 그 이유가 교재만으로 수업과 과제수행이 가능하기 때문이라는 응답(67.7%)이 많았다. 셋째 전체 전공독서량을 조사한 결과 82.1%가 15권미만이고, 11.3%가 1권 미만으로 나타났다. 일주일간의 전공독서시간이 5시간미만 68.9%, 10시간미만 13.9%로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이 같은 문제(독서역량 학과 간 편차, 전공독서 여부 및 독서량, 시간 등)를 토대로, 전공독서의 양과 질을 넓혀갈 수 있는 방안을 강구할 것을 제언한다.

직업계 고등학교 졸업생 대상 'Math & 코딩'을 활용한 대학 미분적분학 교육 사례 연구 (Case Study on College Calculus Education for Vocational High School Graduates with Coding)

  • 본 연구에서는 교육부가 고심하는 '수학울렁증(Mathematics Anxiety, 수학불안)' 문제를 근본적으로 해결하는 하나의 대안으로, 2022년 1학기 S대학에서 직업계 고등학교를 졸업한 재직자 신입생 20명을 대상으로 'Math & 코딩(Coding)'을 적용하여 운영한 대학 미분적분학 강좌 사례를 소개한다. 본 강좌에서는 'Math & 코딩'으로 쉽고 빠르게 중·고등학교 수학을 복습할 수 있는 콘텐츠와 대학 미분적분학 콘텐츠 및 교재를 새로 개발하여 활용하였다. 이를 통해 스스로 '수학울렁증'이 있다고 여기던 학생들은 코드를 활용하여 문제를 해결하면서 복잡한 계산에 대한 부담을 덜게 되었고, 대신 확보한 시간을 수학 개념에 대해 동료 및 교수자와 토론하면서 미분적분학을 충분히 이해할 수 있게 되었다. 그 결과 본 강좌를 수강한 대부분의 학생들은 미분적분학 교재에 있는 거의 모든 문제를 지필로 또는 코드를 활용하여 해결할 수 있다고 자신있게 이야기 하였고, 미분적분학에서 다루는 주요 개념에 대해서도 자신의 언어로 충분히 설명할 수 있다고 하였다. 이와 같이 대학의 수학강좌 교수학습과정에서 'Math & 코딩' 방식을 적절하게 활용한다면, 수학적 배경이 약한 학생들과 이전에 수학을 포기했었던 학생들을 대상으로 대학에서 다시 수학에 대한 자신감을 회복시키는 것이 가능하다고 여겨지며, 중등수학교육에서도 'Math & 코딩' 접근방식을 충분히 적용해 볼 수 있다고 생각한다.

2009 개정 초등수학 1학년 교과서상의 STEAM 관련교과 내용 분석 (An Analysis of 2009 Revised Elementary First Grade Mathematics Textbooks Based on STEAM-related Subject Contents)

  • 2009 개정 교육과정 초등수학 1학년 교과서를 대상으로 수학적 지식 외에 어떤 STEAM 관련교과의 내용을 포함하고 있는지 단원별, 수학내용 영역별로 분석하였다. 단원별 STEAM 관련교과 내용의 개수는 전체적으로 인문과학(스토리텔링)적 내용이 제일 많았고, 스토리텔링이 아닌 인문과학적 내용, 체육교과와 관련된 내용 순으로 많이 분석되었으나 음악교과와 관련된 내용은 매우 적었다. 또한 영역별 STEAM 관련교과 내용의 개수는 규칙성 영역을 제외한 다른 영역에서는 인문과학(스토리텔링)적 내용과 체육교과와 관련된 내용 순으로 많았다. 그러나 단원별, 영역별로 STEAM 관련교과 내용의 개수는 편차가 매우 심하여 다양한 STEAM 자료 개발이 요구된다.
