공조제어 적용을 위한 재실자 온열반응 데이터의 유효성 분석에 관한 연구 (An application to HVAC control system based on occupants' thermal response in office buildings)

  • In South Korea, the government has recently enforced regulations associated with buildings. Temperature restriction in indoor environment is one of the common ways of energy reduction in order not to dissipate heating and cooling energy; however the people who are in restricted temperature feels uncomfortable. Furthermore, occupants cannot feel the same thermal sensation even they are in the same place. For the reason, occupants should express their thermal sensation and HVAC system should be able to apply their demand. It is proved by an adaptive principle. The adaptive model means that people react in ways which tend to restore their comfort, when change occurs such as to produce discomfort. In order to design HVAC control strategies based on adaptive model, we designated an existing office building as a reference building to gather data from actual field. Furthermore, we gathered occupants' thermal sensation and clothing insulation in real-time. We filtered the data with Kalman's filter method. The data was reasonable when there is an alarm messages for asking questionnaire. The response ratio were different in occupants' thermal condition. In conclusion, the filtered occupants' thermal sensation can be used as a real time HVAC control and input value of HVAC control.

비타민 E 소재의 인체생리반응 및 쾌적성 평가 (Evaluation of Thermal Physiological Responses and Comfort in Vitamin E Fabric)

  • This study performed the evaluation of skin temperature, heart rate, temperature and relative humidity of microclimate, and subjective sensation, such as thermal sensation, wet sensation and comfort sensation to estimate physiological responses of the human body and its comfortable feeling to the vitamin E fabric. Experiments were performed on the five healthy adult women whose average age was 21, at climate chamber in which temperature, relative humidity and air current were set up below $30{\pm}\;1^{\circ}C$, $50{\pm}\;15\%$ and 0.2m/s, respectively. Two kinds of clothes were used for experiments: unfinished sports clothes, with the same form and the same size, of short-sleeved knit shirt and long trousers made with $100\%$ cotton, and finished sports clothes printed with the vitamin E solution of the level of $0.88\%$. Exercises of walking (about 105 steps/minute) with the exercise intensity of 2.5 were performed for 20 minutes using treadmill. In result, the study showed significant difference (p<0.01) in average skin temperature between unfinished and finished sport clothes, and represented higher value with having unfinished sport clothes in wear than with finished one. The study also showed significant difference (p<0.01) in heart rate only during the period of exercise, and represented higher value generally with unfinished sport clothes than with finished one. There were significant differences not only in temperature of microclimate (p<0.01) but also in humidity of microclimate (p<0.05) between two sport clothes. As for the evaluation of subjective sensation, the study showed significant difference (p<0.05) in thermal sensation between the two kinds of sport clothes, significant difference in wet sensation only during the period of exercise, and significant difference (p<0.05) in comfort sensation only during the period of recovery.

유명브랜드 의류에 대한 인지적 신념과 소비감정이 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Cognitive Beliefs and Consumption Feelings As Predictors of Well-known Brand Apparel Purchasing Intention)

  • 본 연구는 심미적, 상징적, 감정적 제품으로 특징지워지는 의류는 구매행동에 있어서 의류소비 과정에서 경험하는 느낌은 의사결정에 중요한 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가정하에 인지적 요소와 아울러 감정적 요소도 소비자 행동연구에 포함되어야함을 주장하고자 시도되었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 최근 상징적 제품으로 소비자들 사이에 커다란 호응을 얻고 있는 유명브랜드 의류를 중심으로 하여 1) 여대생들의 유명브랜드 의류구매행동에 영향을 미치는 인지적 측면과 의복착용 시 경험하는 감정적 측면의 내용을 알아보고, 2) 이 두 요인의 유명브랜드 의류구매의도 예측력을 파악함으로써 의류소비자행동연구에서 소비감정에 대한 연구의 중요성을 부각시키고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 본 연구는 덕성여자대학교 여대생들을 대상으로 설문지법을 통하여 자료를 수집하여 요인분석, t-test 및 회귀분석을 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1 여대생들의 유명브랜드에 대한 평가기준(인지적)은 디자인/브랜드 명성, 의복의 구성적 측면 그리고 실용성의 3차원으로 분류되었다. 2. 유명브랜드 구매의도집단은 비구매의도집단에 비하여 유명브랜드 의류에 대해 전반적으로 좀더 호의적인 태도를 갖고 있으며 특히 브랜드 명성과 스타일에 좀 더 긍정적 태도를 갖고 있다. 3. 여대생들의 유명브랜드 의류 착용 시 경험하는 느낌들은 즐거움/자신감, 능동적인, 후회의 3차원으로 밝혔다.

레트로로맨틱 패션의 미적 특성 고찰 (A Study on Aesthetic Characteristics of Retro-Romantic Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the aesthetic characteristics of the retro romantic fashion. As a result of study, three artistic characteristics of the retro romantic fashion were presented. First, retro romantic fashion has an exaggerated formativeness. Retro romantic fashion has overcome the confinement of the present to imitate the splendor and decorative style of the past which results in exaggeration. Exaggerated costume tends to be spaciously bigger and emphasizes one particular part which offers implicated significance for the space between the body and the costume. A new visual fashion is created through this space. Second, retro romantic fashion encompasses gorgeous decorativeness. From an artistic point of view, decorations are part of impulsively formulated art. Artistic effects of such decorations are uniformly confirmed in various artistic states. Therefore, through gorgeous decorations, retro romantic fashion rejects artificiality and lack of sensitivity for new effects of aesthetics through expression of stronger artistic and spiritual desires. Third, retro romantic fashion expresses pluralistic retro. The current society has left the formalities of the modernism for a pluralistic society where openness, diversity, and uniqueness are respected. Such components of the pluralistic society are repetitively used in fashion. Time reflective retro romantic fashion is being recreated by borrowing images rather than replaying the historical contents, with the style, silhouette, and specific items that swayed in the past, being combined with modern materials, techniques, and designs. Literature review were conducted for this study. Literature review on retro romanticism encompassed resources on aesthetics, literature and art, including national and international fashion related literatures.

Analyzing the Type of Recognition for College Students' Department Jumpers

  • 본 연구에서는 Q방법론을 적용하여 대학생을 대상으로 학과 점퍼에 대한 주관적 평가와 인식 유형별 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대학생의 학과 점퍼에 대한 태도 및 인식유형은 3유형으로 분류되었다. 제1유형의 경우 학과 점퍼는 학과에 대한 소속감을 주고 학과를 홍보하는 역할을 한다고 인식하였다. 또, 학과 점퍼 착용 시 행동을 조심하지만, 활동이 편하고 주변 사람들의 좋은 평가를 하여 나의 신뢰감을 높여주는 효과가 있다고 생각하였다. 제2유형의 경우 학과 점퍼는 활동하기 편하며 유행을 따르지 않는 무난한 디자인이라 만족스럽고, 등교 시 늘 착용하였다. 제3유형은 학과 점퍼 착용 시 동질감과 소속감을 주고, 학과 점퍼가 유행을 따라가는 스타일이면 좋겠고 학과 점퍼 착용에 긍정적인 유형이다. 대학생들의 학과 점퍼는 유니폼으로 학과의 이미지나 상징성을 잘 나타내고, 활동량이 큰 대학생들의 신체적 특징을 반영하여 맞음새가 우수한 학과 점퍼가 개발되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Hussein Chalayan 컬렉션 분석 (An Analysis of the Fashion Collection of Hussein Chalayan)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze on the fashion collection of Hussein Chalayan who has changed the concept of fashion design in the 21st century and has pioneered in the new vision of fashion. This study will give a new perspective and perception of fashion as a conceptual and ideological art. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, Hussein Chalayan's multicultural ideas and interdisciplinary approaches which based in national speciality are the unique elements in his works. Second, Hussein Chalayan intends to present his works as an expression of conception. He has expressed the clothes which speaks the form of nature, symbolizes the combination of culture, visualizes time and space and investigates the existence of human being. Third, Hussein Chalayan has asked an endless question about existence of the human being. Furthermore, He has put a question about the relationship between time, space, history, nature and the human being. His trial to visualize the metaphysical conception of 'ego' and 'self' through his works of art makes him as the designer who represents the 21st century. Forth, Hussein Chalayan pursues the communication between the human being and the world. His works is made for human being and makes the human life as valuable thing. Because the clothes is completed when the human wears it, it can not exist without the relationship of human being. Fifth, Hussein Chalayan makes a various attempt to combine with different artistic field. Fashion has developed to new direction with diverse trial and combination beyond fashion field and this has to be a direction in the 21st century fashion. Fashion is not just making clothes, but accepting and delivering the history and culture, expressing and communicating empathy, and combining the different fields harmoniously.

상지동작에 따른 길의 변화에 관한 연구(제2보) - 사선방향의 변화를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Change of Waist Pattern by Upper Limb Motion (Part 2) - By the Change of Oblique Line -)

  • In order to investigate how upper limb motion gives influence on clothing, this study measured tests by following standards: Front Vertical motion, Side-Vertical motion, and Horizontal motion. For this study, the procedures in the order of alphabet are applied. A. Eeach of testee's pattern was copied by the motion with a method of tight fitting technique. B. Analyzing each of the size-change on measuring item. C. Studying the moving aspects at each datum points. The results shows that the biggest change can be found in the following items. 1) In vertical motion of F4 (the length to shoulder point from A-point) 2) In horizontal motion of F5 (the length to front-width point from A-point), the check-result gained by checking the notice between motions shows that the most noticeable items are F4 (the length to shoulder point from A-point), F5 (the length to front-width point from A-point), F6 (the length to armpit point from A-point), B7 (the length to side-waist point from B-point). In result of the study of datum point's movement by motion, the items which were measured with the longest on straight-distance in vertical motion are the front and rear-shoulder, and the rear-shoulder, front-armpit in horizontal motion each. In the movement of each datum points by length, the check-result gained by checking the notice between motions shows that the most remarkable item is the front-shoulder.

은행잎의 염색성 및 자외선 차단 효과 (Dyeability and UV-blocking Effect of Dyed Fabrics with Ginkgo Extract)

  • Ginkgo leaves, which have been known as medical materials, were selected as new natural dyes in this study, in which it was examined whether they have the function of UV-blocker or not. Cotton, linen & Hanji(Korean traditional paper) were dyed with Ginkgo. Al, Cr, Cu, Fe and Sn were selected as mordants. UV-blocking rate of dyed samples was measured after dyeing and mordant treatment. The results of this study are as follows. First, most surface color of dyed samples was yellow except that Hanji mordanted with Cu was yellowish red. Second, dyeing repetition had positive correlations with K/S values of cotton ($r=.\;758^{**}$), linen ($r=.\;500^*$) and Hanji ($r=.\;819^{**}$), because K/S values were increased according to dyeing repetition. Third, solar UV-blocking rates had positive correlations with dyeing repetitions (p<0.01), because UV-blocking rates had increased according to dyeing repetition. Fourth, UV-blocking ability of Hanji was highest among samples, as UV-blocking rates of cotton and linen dyed after 3 dyeing repetition were up to 93%, Hanji's values were up to 98%. Therefore, it was proven that Ginkgo extracts used in this experiment as dyestuff have excellent dyeing ability and high UV-blocking ability. It is hoped that this work will lead to further research to confirm the physiological effects when human wear the clothes made from Hanji.

조선시대 직물에 나타난 동물문양의 유형과 특성 (The Types and Characteristics of Animal Patterns Used on fabric of Chosun Dynasty)

  • This stuffy is to understand the symbolic meaning of Korean traditional animal Patterns, to analyze their figurative characteristics focusing on fabric relics of Chosun Dynasty, and to search their internal beauty as well as their external beauty. Animal patterns can be classified as Individual type, the type that only animal patterns are used, and Compound type, the type that animal patterns are used with other patterns. The Individual type was not found at all. Only the Compound type, compounded with two or three other patterns, were found. Among the other patterns used in the Compound type, botanical patterns and heaven-and-earth-shaped patterns were the majority while letters patterns were rarely used. Bird patterns take enormously large part of the animal patterns. In terms of the arrangement, animal patterns are classified as Dense type, Sparse type, and Picturesque type.'rho three types are almost equal in their quantity. Picturesque type is found comparatively a lot. Animal patterns are much more frequently used in female clothes than in male clothes. For female clothes, they are mostly used in some parts of the clothes with ornamental effect. But, for male clothes, they are mainly used all over the fabric by weaving animal patterns on it. Not just their external beauty, animal patterns have also internally beautiful characteristics, such as keeping away from wicked ghosts, hoping for good luck, emblematic features, having ideological meanings, and so on.

현대 착용한복의 색변화에 대한 종단적 연구 (A Longitudinal Study of Color Changes of Hanbok in Modern Times)

  • This study aims to identify how Korean women's traditional costume, Hanbok, has changed according to the times in terms of color coordination of Jeogori and Chima. Photos had been taken at wedding places and streets at 5 major cities(Seoul, Pusan, Kwangju, Daejon, Jeju) at two weekends of each season in 1999, 2001, and 2003. Total 1617 photos were used as final data. Data were analyzed by hue coordination and value level. Hue coordination exist in one-color and two-color coordination. In one-color coordination, red color(R & RP) was the most frequently used and blue green(BG) was the next, and the least was blue purple(BP) for each year. In value scale, high level was the most frequent and followed by middle level and low level. Pink was the most preferred color for one-color coordination. In two-color coordination, white and blue were widely used for Jeogori and red and blue far chima for each year, which seemed to be the basic color coordination for Jeogori and Chima. While there was a certain basic color coordination types across year, but a few new color coordination appeared each year and maintained as popular color coordination for one or two year.
