  • In this paper, we aim that it solve to problem of the database hoarding because a week connectivity of wireless networks and cutting of link, Consistency of shared data, optimizing of the log include to Mobile Continuous Query Processing System under the mobile client and server environment. and we demonstrate of the superiority for the new Mobile Continuous Query Processing System compare C-I-S(Client-Intercept -Server)model with performance. and we perform to various experiment in order to establishment of superiority compare the index architecture and method for the realtime Continuous Query Processing. in this paper.

  • In this paper, we propose a remote controller for robot manipulator using local area network(LAN) and internet. To do this, we develope a server-client system as used in the network field. The client system is in any computer in remote place for the user to log-in the server and manage the remote factory. the server system is a computer which controls the manipulator and waits for a access from client. The server system consists of several control algorithms which is needed to drive the manipulator and networking system to transfer images that shows states of the work place, and to receive a Tmp data to run the manipulator The client system consists of 3D(dimension) graphic user interface for teaching and off-line task like simulation, external hardware interface which makes it easier for the user to teach. Using this server-client system, the user who is on remote place can edit the work schedule of manipulator, then run the machine after it is transferred and monitor the results of the task.

  • The online game system could be largely divided into two parts: servers and clients. Clients accesses to a game server and analyzes the packets transmitted from a server. A game server manages users information and database. U a game server allows a new client to access the server to execute a game, it should accept the access request of the new client maintaining the online connection of the existing users. In this paper, we compare Process method and Thread method within the multiple jobs process methods of a server. Then we propose an asymmetric distributed multi server architecture that is adequate to asymmetric distributed architecture that is widely applied to most game servers. The proposed asymmetric distributed multi server architecture includes login server, game server, communication server and database server to perform its own feature independently. Comparing its other architectures, it shows better performance economically and technically. Especially it improves the stability and expandability of a server.

  • In this paper, we describe the general concept of digital mobile communications system and present a client-server model for the implementation of roaming function, which is on of the most important functions in digital mobile communications system. And finally we also describe our simulation test and analysis for the presented client-server model.

  • This paper describes design and implementation of a distributed rendering management system using existing rendering module. Currently, most of 3D commercial software provide modeling, rendering and distributed environment in the whole package. So, the server and client should use the given renderer as is, without the required features. In this paper, we propose a distributed rendering management system that consist of rendering module and distributed rendering client-server. The rendering module can be executed independently and managed by the distributed rendering client. The server requests rendering for each connected client. After the execution, the server gathers rendering result from each client. After gathering, the server provides the rendering result to the user.

  • Mobile client-Server synchronization system supporting for field updating of spatio-temporal data could be interrupted incompletely as it has some failure of client-server system and network during synchronizing work. Thus the interruption of synchronizing could make some problem with not progressing normal synchronizing work while re-performing for the consistent error of client-server system and synchronization. This study analyzes defects that are generated at the mobile client-server environment and proposes recovery techniques which can rerun consistence of DB and synchronization.

  • This paper presents a CAN-based control system, which supports tole-operations over the Internet. As a result, CAN-based control systems are opened up for remote control, monitoring and maintenance using WWW-technology. Most of the system is written in JAVA because it is small, powerful package and can easily be reused in the whole system on different platforms and implemented in embedded system. The effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated through the experiments using a CAN-based manipulator, which allow remote access for Web-based Java clients.

  • There are various researches on MPEG techniques. MPEG technique is used to digital TV(DTV) and internet image communication. Connection method between server and client is usually using wire. Applications may be expanded, if wireless technology is used between server and client system. In this paper, Bluetooth is used for connection method between server and client. Bluetooth offers fast and reliable transmissions of both voice and data over the globally available 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band. One of the major application purposes of Bluetooth is the cable replacement for mobile and peripheral devices. Bluetooth has the advantage of small size, low power and low cost. It has the disadvantage of limited bandwidth and limited range. In order to transfer effectively image Information between server and client using Bluetooth, we apply MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 image compression techniques and the results are compared with each other.

  • This paper deals with the real-time monitoring and control system using PC, PDA(Win CE embedded device) and PCS(based BREW platform). The camera attached to the server captures the moving target, and the captured frame of color image is encoded in JPEG for image compression at the server. The client(PC, PDA, PCS) receives the image data from the remote server and the received image is decoded from decompression. We use the TCP/IP protocol to send the image frames. The client can control the position of the camera by sending the control command to the server. Two DC servo motors for the camera are controlled in any directions, up-down and left-right, by the controller which is communicating with the server via the serial communication to get the control command. In this way, on the client we can monitor the moving images at the server and also control the position of the camera.

  • OPC is the preferred communication standard for sharing process control data at all levels of the enterprise and becomes the global standard, sends/receives the data with PLC programs of inspection system via network, and manages various data using OPC server. In this paper, we introduce the developed OPC client system for FPD inspection system with OPC server. To control inspection system through OPC server, we have developed libraries which consist of stage driver, switch driver, microscope driver, image processing, alignment, and task management modules. Also we have developed the test program to verify all functions precisely. We describe the mechanism of inspection system, OPC connection method, and programs.
