학습자의 원격수업 만족도와 LMS만족도와의 관계연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Learners' Online Class Satisfaction and LMS Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 경상남도 소재 C대학에서 코로나19 이후 이루어진 원격수업에서 LMS만족도가 전체 만족도에 미치는 영향의 정도를 알아보고, 전체 수업 만족도와 LMS 만족도 요인 간의 영향 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. C대학에서는코로나19 이후 시행된 대규모 원격수업의 원활한 운영을 위하여 차세대 스마트 LMS 구축 사업을 시작하여 2021학년도 1학기부터 운영하였다. LMS를 활용하여 이루어진 원격수업에 대한 학습자 만족도를 알아보기 위하여 전체 수업 만족도와 LMS 만족도에 관한 다섯 요인으로 이루어진 설문조사를 C대학에서 원격수업을 경험한 학습자 140명을대상으로 실시한 결과, C대학에서 원격수업을 경험한 학습자는 전체 수업 만족도뿐만 아니라 LMS 만족도에서도 높은 만족도를 보였다. LMS 만족도와 전체 수업 만족도의 회귀분석 결과, LMS 기능의 편리성과 교수자와의 상호작용관련 요인이 전체 수업 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 학습자가 LMS 기능이 편리하다고 느낄수록, LMS를 통해 교수자와 원활하게 상호작용이 가능하다고 느낄수록 전체 수업 만족도도 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 한 개 대학의 학습자를 대상으로 하였으며, 한정된 변수 측정만 이루어졌다는 한계가 있다.

Position of the hyoid bone and its correlation with airway dimensions in different classes of skeletal malocclusion using cone-beam computed tomography

  • Purpose: This study investigated the position of the hyoid bone and its relationship with airway dimensions in different skeletal malocclusion classes using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Materials and Methods: CBCT scans of 180 participants were categorized based on the A point-nasion-B point angle into class I, class II, and class III malocclusions. Eight linear and 2 angular hyoid parameters(H-C3, H-EB, H-PNS, H-Me, H-X, H-Y, H-[C3-Me], C3-Me, H-S-Ba, and H-N-S) were measured. A 3-dimensional airway model was designed to measure the minimum cross-sectional area, volume, and total and upper airway length. The mean crosssectional area, morphology, and location of the airway were also evaluated. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and the Pearson correlation test, with P values <0.05 indicating statistical significance. Results: The mean airway volume differed significantly among the malocclusion classes(P<0.05). The smallest and largest volumes were noted in class II (2107.8±844.7 ㎣) and class III (2826.6±2505.3 ㎣), respectively. The means of most hyoid parameters (C3-Me, C3-H, H-Eb, H-Me, H-S-Ba, H-N-S, and H-PNS) differed significantly among the malocclusion classes. In all classes, H-Eb was correlated with the minimum cross-sectional area and airway morphology, and H-PNS was correlated with total airway length. A significant correlation was also noted between H-Y and total airway length in class II and III malocclusions and between H-Y and upper airway length in class I malocclusions. Conclusion: The position of the hyoid bone was associated with airway dimensions and should be considered during orthognathic surgery due to the risk of airway obstruction.

워크시트를 활용한 환경수업이 초등학생들의 환경인식 및 환경행동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Environment Worksheet on the Elementary Students' Environmental Perceptions & Behavior)

  • This study aims to find out an effect of 3 types of environment worksheets used for 5th elementary graders's environmental class on their environmental perceptions and behavior. 104 of 5th graders in M elementary school in Ulsan Metropolitan City were selected and divided into A group(35), B group(34) and C group(35) for this study, and to A group, a class used worksheet of the photo taken clean, unpolluted environment, and to B group, a class used worksheet of the photo taken polluted environment and to C group, a class used worksheet of only text without photo were carried out. The worksheet used class was conducted 5 times, and then after the classes, the student's change in environmental perceptions and behavior by group was put into verification Below are the study results. First, the worksheets used for the environment class have incurred significant differences in student's environmental perceptions by their types. A. B groups were higher than C group in their post-test environmental perceptions score, a statistically significant differences. Meanwhile, statistically insignificant differences appeared in environmental perceptions score between A and B groups. Second, the type of worksheet used for environment class represented considerable differences in he students' environmental behavior. A group was higher than B. C groups in post test environment behavior score, the difference of which was statistically significant. While statistically insignificant difference represented in environmental behavior between B, C groups. Third, the both types of worksheets of the photo of positive environment and that of negative environment appeared to be effective statistically in changing the elementary students' environmental behavior, while the worksheets of the photo of positive environment appeared to be effective statistically in their environmental behavior.

마이코박테리아의 adenylyl cyclase (Adenylyl Cyclases in Mycobacteria)

  • Adenylyl cyclase (AC)는 ATP로부터 cAMP를 형성하는 반응을 촉매한다. AC에 의해 생산된 cAMP는 다양한 신호전달 경로에서 이차전달자로 사용되고 많은 종에서 다양한 세포기능을 조절한다. AC는 1차구조에 따라 6개의 그룹으로 나눌 수 있다. 진핵생물과 Mycobacterium 속에 속하는 세균에서는 class III에 속하는 AC만이 발견된다. Class III에 속하는 AC의 경우 catalytic cyclase 도메인이 dimer를 형성해야만 활성부위가 형성되고 활성을 가지게 된다. 포유류의 AC는 하나의 polypeptide에 2개의 catalytic cyclase 도메인을 가지고 있고, 이 두 개의 도메인이 intramolecular dimerization을 통해서 활성부위를 형성한다. 반면에 mycobacteria의 AC는 polypeptide에 한 개의 catalytic cyclase 도메인을 가지고 있고, homodimer의 4차구조를 형성하여 활성을 가지게 된다. Class III AC의 활성을 위해서 필요한 6개의 아미노산 잔기가 활성부위에 잘 보존되어 있다. 이 6개의 아미노산 잔기는 $Mg^{2+}$과 결합을 하는 2개의 aspartate 잔기쌍, 기질특이성을 부여하는 lysine-aspartate 잔기쌍, 그리고 반응 전이상태를 안정화시키는 arginine-asparagine 잔기쌍들로 이루어져 있다. Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv에서는 16개의 AC 유전자가 발견되었으며, 이 AC의 연구된 특성에 대해 본 총설에서 다룰 것이다.

액션러닝을 활용한 수업이 치위생학과 학생의 4C 핵심역량에 미치는 융합적 효과 (The Convergence Effects of a Class using Action Learning on 4C Core Competencies of Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 액션러닝을 활용한 수업이 대학생의 4C 핵심역량에 미치는 융합적 효과에 대해 파악하고자 한다. 부산광역시 일부 치위생(학)과 학생을 대상으로 액션러닝 수업 전과 후로 동일한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 프로그램으로 대응표본 t-검증으로 비교 분석하였다. 액션러닝 수업을 실시하기 전 후 의사소통능력, 비판적사고 성향, 창의적 문제해결능력과 협력적 자기효능감 점수를 비교한 결과 수업을 실시하기 전보다 수업을 진행한 후의 각 영역별 점수가 높게 나타났고, 하위요인에서도 유의한 결과를 나타내었다(p<0.001). 결국 액션러닝을 활용한 수업은 제 4차 산업혁명시대가 요구하는 4C 핵심역량에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알수 있었고, 지식위주의 수업이 아닌 자기주도적인 수업방법의 변화가 시급하다고 판단된다.

Differences in the heritability of craniofacial skeletal and dental characteristics between twin pairs with skeletal Class I and II malocclusions

  • Objective: To investigate differences in the heritability of skeletodental characteristics between twin pairs with skeletal Class I and Class II malocclusions. Methods: Forty Korean adult twin pairs were divided into Class I (C-I) group (0° ≤ angle between point A, nasion, and point B [ANB]) ≤ 4°; mean age, 40.7 years) and Class II (C-II) group (ANB > 4°; mean age, 43.0 years). Each group comprised 14 monozygotic and 6 dizygotic twin pairs. Thirty-three cephalometric variables were measured using lateral cephalograms and were categorized as the anteroposterior, vertical, dental, mandible, and cranial base characteristics. The ACE model was used to calculate heritability (A > 0.7, high heritability). Thereafter, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed. Results: Twin pairs in C-I group exhibited high heritability values in the facial anteroposterior characteristics, inclination of the maxillary and mandibular incisors, mandibular body length, and cranial base angles. Twin pairs in C-II group showed high heritability values in vertical facial height, ramus height, effective mandibular length, and cranial base length. PCA extracted eight components with 88.3% in the C-I group and seven components with 91.0% cumulative explanation in the C-II group. Conclusions: Differences in the heritability of skeletodental characteristics between twin pairs with skeletal Class I and II malocclusions might provide valuable information for growth prediction and treatment planning.

플립드러닝을 활용한 프로그래밍 교과목 개발 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Development of Programming Subjects Using Flipped Learning)

  • 현실 세계와 유사한 모델링이 가능한 객체지향 언어인 C++ 프로그래밍 수업을 플립드러닝 학습모형을 도입한 교육과정으로 개발한다면 학생들의 능동적인 문제해결 능력을 배양할 수 있다. 본 교과목 개발사례에서는 플립드러닝 기법을 프로그래밍 수업에 적용하여 학생들의 능동적인 문제해결 능력 향상에 효과가 있었다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 먼저 4차시의 강의를 Pre-Class, In-Class, Post-Class로 나누어 주제에 맞는 수업 목표를 제시하고 팀을 구성하여 토의하는 방식으로 수업을 진행하였다. 강의 마지막에는 사후 설문 조사를 시행하여 학습자들이 효과적으로 학습하였는지 확인하였다.

정신(精神) 박약아(薄弱兒)의 구강(口腔) 상태(狀態)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察) (A STUDY OF ORAL STATUS OF MENTAL RETARDED CHILDREN)

  • The purpose of this study was to make a comprehensive study & evaluation of the oral status of mental retarded children. The auther examined intraorally 486 (male; 311, female;175) mental retarded children. The result was as follows; (General mental retarded children means the children who live in their parent's home, & orphan mental retarded children means the children who live in orphanage.) 1. The dft rate was 31.6% in general mental retarded children (G.m.r.c.) & 20.7% in orphan mental retarded children (O. m. r. c.). The dft index was 3.73 in G.m.r.c. & 2.15 in O.m.r.c. 2. The DMFT rate was 24.6% in female G.m.r.c., 16.7% in male G.m.r.c., 12.7% in female O.m.r.c., 8.4% in male O.m.r.c. The DMFT index was 4.94 in female G.m.r.c., 4.01 in male G.m.r.c., 1.40 in male O.m.r.c., 2.75 in female O.m.r.c. 3. The malocclusion prevalence was 57.3%. the class I malocclusion was 14.2% Class II malocclusion 19.3%, Class III malocclusion 23.5%. The children with Down's syndrome had 60.0% of class III malocclusion prevalence. 4. The dental calculus index was 1.97 in male O.m.r.c., 1.81 in female O.m.r.c., 1.30 in male G.m.r.e., 1.13 in female G.m.r.c. 5. The dental plaque index was 3.06 in female G.m.r.c., 3.00 in male Gm.r.e. 2.70 in male O.m.r,c., 2.32 in female O.m.r.c.

Molecular Cloning of Chicken Major Histocompatibility Complex Class II Molecules

  • The chicken major histocompatibility complex (MHC), the B complex, is beginning to be analyzed at the DNA level. Inbred lines of chickens have been reported to possess 3~5 MHC class II genes. To further analyzed the molecular structure of the chicken MHC class II genes, cDNA clones coding for chicken MHC class II (B-L) ${\beta}$ chain molecules were isolated from chicken spleen and liver. Tissue-specific transcription of B-L ${\beta}$genes was studied by Northern blot analysis. A high level of expression was detected for spleen poly(A)$^+$ RNA whereas a faint signal was detected for liver poly(A)$^+$ RNA. Twenty-nine cDNA clones were isolated from the spleen and eight cDNA clones were isolated from the liver. Based on restriction maps, most clones could be clustered into one family of genes. Four cDNA clones were sequenced (S7, S10 and S19 from the spleen and L1, which was identical to S19, from the liver). Complete amino acid sequences of B-L ${\beta}$ chain molecules were predicated from the nucleotide sequences of the cDNA clones. Although both the nature and the location of the conserved residues were similar in chicken and mammalian sequences, some species-specific differences were found, suggesting that the structures of the B-L molecules are similar, but not identical to their mammalian counterparts.
