The purpose of this study were to find out the difference of needs of caring between care-givers and non care-givers, and to suggest the way of lessening vigorous task of care-givers for the elderly with dementia. Data were collected from 130 nationwide respondents intentionally divided into two groups; care-givers and non care-givers in the middle aged with middle and upper income. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test using SPSS package. Since the result of survey, unexpectedly, showed no difference between two groups, it could be explained as that these two groups commonly had same needs of caring for the elderly with dementia. Major findings were as follow; 1) Most Koreans stiff thought family should be the main care-giver for the elderly with dementia prior to nation or society. 2) Responsibility of caring for the elderly with dementia would be better to be shared with children instead of focusing to a child. 3) They thought ideal residential facilities for the elderly with dementia were small-scale professional dementia facility(group home) rather than home or general elderly housing. 4) Professional dementia care hospital was one of the most needed facilities for the elderly with dementia, followed by short-stay and dar-care center. 5) It was revealed care-giving task was vigorous showing that most care-givers spent 1-5 hours a day for caring, while 13% of respondents spent 11-24 hours a duty. 6) 90% of care-givers took the responsibility of main care-giver because of duty of offsprings or spouses, and wanted to be free from their current circumstances. From the result of this survey researchers would like to suggest the establishment of diverse facilities for professional dementia care to lessen the caring burden for the elderly with dementia: group home, chronic hospital, short-stay, day-care center. Financial support from the government for the housing renovation of the caring families should be considered seriously afterward. It is needed to give the opportunity to select proper paid dementia care facilities according to their income and situation of household.

The purpose of this study was to make a survey of the operation of childcare facilities in rural regions through in-depth interviews with 5 facility principals. Owing to regional disadvantages, rural childcare facilities have many problems as follows: uneven distribution of facilities, shortage of teachers, financial difficulties, unsuitable programs for rural regions, insufficient reeducation of principals and teachers, and poor operations and accessibility for handicapped or very young children. The principals proposed that many conditions might be made better as follows: evenly distributing facilities in step with needs and supply, raising the salary of teachers of rural facilities, supporting the facilities themselves side by side with supporting children, improving 'childcare fee supporting system' of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, developing and spreading programs suitable for rural regions, and promoting the reeducation of principals and teachers through online programs.
The old couple household is also growing up with the growth of the aged so this is problem that needs to consider the home welfare service aspect. Otherwise, by the decrease of the number of the child and facilities' space availability, the government searching for proper usage of that kind of space in terms of financial and administration. So this study have combining of elementary school and home care for the aged facility especially for the increase of home care for the aged service facilities and improvement of using elementary school's space. That will increase the elderly cares and have need the homewelfare-service in the future, we select study elderly welfare facilities. We use analysis that analyze the trend of an elderly and social changes and conclude for the complexation of elderly welfare facilities, compound form of an elementary school, traffic line, space organization and interaction space organization.

As for educational level, there was a difference in 'counseling and emotional support' a subordinated factor in role performance. As for career, there was a difference in 'education and teaching activity' a subordinate factor of role performance. As for working facility type, there was a difference in emotional intelligence and organizational culture. Second, there was correlation between infant care teachers' emotional intelligence and organizational culture, and their role performance. Third, infant care teachers' emotional intelligence was the best predictor of their role performance. Therefore, more studies should be done to raise the emotional intelligence of infant care teachers.
Although the government has revised the child welfare act, institutionalized the establishment of local children's centers, and given financial support for them, there are a number of problems with respect to their operation. Specifically, one of main problems is their limited space. Diverse problems that go with the arrangement of limited space and usability have occurred, however there are only a few strategies to use limited space flexibly. This study assumed variability as one of the methods to solve spatial problems. As a basic research for the assumption, Analyzing the variable method and characteristics of domestic and foreign child-care facility guidelines was performed trying to take advantage of as a basic data in order to seek a variable scheme of local children centers' indoor space. For this purpose, study analysed the methods and characteristics of variability centering on aspects related to variability which are environmental design elements required by local children's centers as suggested in previous studies. The results are as follows. First, the variability of space should be planned according to activity and time, and consider the methods of division, storage, and other facilities necessary. Second, methods of variability in space can be classified into creating areas and structures that are variable. Third, as a result of analysing the environmental design elements required by local children's centers, this study discovered the following characteristics: multi-purpose usability through a combination of variable devices, transition through a variable space medium and setting up areas and expansion of indoor variability assuming usability through internal and external connections.
The postpartum care center is a facility which made its debut only about 10 years ago but has now changed the nation's postpartum care culture. Women delivered of a child use the postpartum care center at this time since the low rate of childbirth has become a social phenomenon. However, while the postpartum care center is not supported legally and systematically, anybody can run it after they only file a report on businessman status with the tax office. So there are disordered wave of postpartum care startups which do not have basic facilities. Thus, this study is intended to suggest an interior environment plan considering an efficient space and users' benefits of a postpartum care center which has a characteristic difference from that of ordinary facilities in terms of targeted persons or operations but for which standards are not clear in terms of the Health and Welfare Law and the Medical Service Law. This study was conducted by investigating the actual condition of the entrance space, living space, common-use space, nursing space, administration and attached space in the six postpartum care centers selected from Seoul and Kyeonggi-do region and suggesting the direction of improvements, thus establishing the direction of interior designs and an interior environment plan. Hopefully, this study would be used as basic data on interior building plans, thus being helpful in enhancing the satisfaction of the postpartum care center user and operating the facility.

The location conditions of private facilities are weak compared to those of corporations and local governments. Third, there were the result of internal structure of facilities. Overall, the placement status was insufficient. For instance, there are smokeproof masks/fireproof blankets, smoke windows(fire safety windows), smoke smothering. In addition, there were places where legal essential installation structures were insufficient. Private facilities were generally insufficient in facility structures compared to those of local governments and welfare corporations. Fourth, there were the result of safety management. It was confirmed that private facilities were insufficient compared to local government facilities. We investigated the foodservice sanitation status of the childcare centers in Chungnam Asan area to provide the information for sanitation guidelines and checklist in various operation types of childcare centers. Self-completed questionnaires were collected from the directors of 95 centers: national-public 9 (9.5%), corporation 10 (10.5%), private 52 (54.7%), and home care 24 (25.3%) types. The analyzed results are shown in foundation type; the investigated items are about critical hygienic problems and safety recognition level, presence of sanitation guideline, demand of dietian's employment and the role, hygienic management and education level, and the present and future of sanitary facility and equipment. From this study we found that home care center, which had low capacity, was comparatively poor at sanitation status, the use of hygienic standard and guideline, and safety recognition level. In our opinion, the use and application of same sanitation standard to any type and size of center is not appropriate and rational. The reestablishment of the sanitation guideline and checklist considering the conditions of various operation types would be necessary. Also periodic hygienic education by hygenic professionals, continuous parents' attention and cooperation of related government organizations are needed for improvement of foodservice sanitation status of childcare centers.
