Directions and Assignments of Elementary School Counseling based on Positive Psychology (긍정심리학에 기반한 초등학교 상담의 방향과 과제)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and suggest directions and assignments of elementary school counseling based on positive psychology. For this purpose, the goal, contents, techniques and effects of counseling based on positive psychology were examined. Based on this review, the suggested implications for directions and assignments of elementary school counseling as follows; In connection with the directions of elementary school counseling, first, it was suggested that problem-focused counseling approaches centered a small number of problem children should be changed to strength based counseling approaches facilitating all children's whole development, happiness and well-being. Second, it was suggested that continuous and systematic counseling helps should be served to all children so that they can aware, experience and use their character strengths in their all lives at the inside and outside of their school. In connection with the assignments of elementary school counseling, first, increasing children's understanding on happiness, developing counseling programs for enhancing happiness and verifying their effects were discussed. Second, developing effective applying plans of positive counseling techniques and verifying their effects were discussed. Finally, making researches on our children's character strengths and interventions for developing their character strengths were discussed.

A study on Teacher's Perception, the actual condition for the Early Childhood Character Education depend on Teacher's Personality (유아교사의 인성에 따른 유아 인성교육의 인식 및 실태)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out difference by early childhood teachers' personality and individual factor. Also we wanted to find out the status, need and awareness of character education for early childhood education. Our targets are 194 early childhood teachers who are working in D city in Chungcheongnam-do. We analyzed out data with by SPSS 21.0 program. The results show that First, there was significantly difference in teachers' personality by career and age. Second, while early childhood teachers sympathize importance and need of personality education, absence of methods for practice is obstacle. Third, A high level personality group notices that respect for early children' life, humanity and virtue of relationship is importance virtue. Fourth, Therefore they consider respecting people as aim of personality education and recognize that they need to teach right values through whole area as education contents. Fifth, A low level personality group notices that performance of their duty and manners of early children is needed virtue. They consider manners education as aim and content of personality education also recognize guiding with connecting home teaching is desirable. So, teachers need, above all, chance for reflective thinking by themselves for early childhood character Education.

  • From the 21st century, characters have been developed and managed by many companies, organizations and groups due to public-friendly elements, Community Identity Program, value of utilization for OSMU, etc. This study was carried out according to a plan of developing a character and making an application in ACC Children based on Asia Culture, which was implemented as ACC Children contents R&D project from 2014 to 2016. This R&D and purpose is significant because of laying the groundwork for identity system making it possible to increase the brand value of ACC Children and symbolize ACC Children by developing a character, application and name suitable for the philosophy and function of ACC Children that will be used together with CI of Asia Culture Center. With regard to the research method and scope, Asia is divided into 5 regions, and 100 representative stories in Asia are selected, and a storytelling-based character, application and name with connotative symbol and meaning pursued by ACC Children is developed by choosing and analyzing symbolic animals according to consulting and survey. The characters of ACC Children give publicity to the symbolism of ACC Children, and are actively utilized for OSMU.

  • While a game market has been growing consistently world widely, a market of arcade or video game has been detained. In this stagnation, the latest one in 2015, "Super Mario Maker" of Mario series that's been running in good for 30 years, the notable sale and growth of which are extraordinary. As for a study in customizing, a literature of game customizing and studies that are foregone were mostly handling contents about a game character. In the survey that's done in this thesis about knowledge and needs in customizinge game users have, it was shown they want to customize sides of a rule and a character. I analyzed what the main factors are in this game which uses a main concept of customizing and the reason for high profits and popularity. As a result of the analysis, four features, possibility to customize a game rule, share data among users, collaboration in marketing with NFC figure characters, offering updates with sustained and new customizing features were found out. I am certain a game customizing will be helping to meet users and be used for various industries without limit of existing character.

  • The reason of the appearance of Internet is regarded as a milestone since we have shared information globally in a mutual way. The important thing on this point is what contents we choose for ourselves. The Internet could be meaningless unless we use it in a certain way, which ultimately means that the Internet has to deliver something valuable to us humans. Therefore, we have looked at how we can deliver and share humanity and emotion through the Internet, also how we can instill vital power into our real life, through the Internet. Fortunately, the current study must essentially be ongoing due to its nature with perhaps a multidisciplinary team brainstorming ideas. The reason for that is that not only could we find new business models for companies, but also find out new ways to appease the human mind in the modern age. In addition, as consumers needs become more specialized and diversified, companies are expected to face up to fierce competition with the help of innovative ideas. The ever-intensifying competition requires companies to cultivate new strategic tools in order to have new, powerful and sustainable comparative advantages. The goal of this research will be to explore ways of finding a new approach. Specifically, this research is about how to use the EVC(empathetic virtual character), which, this researcher believes, can deliver emotional benefits so as to make e-branding successful. According to reports, it has been proven that this new concept including the EVC can result in tremendous success. So the goal of this research is to explore the current situation and to anticipate the future concerning virtual characters.

  • The curriculum in the vocational training shall be planed and operated on a basis what is the occupational category that the students can be employed after their graduation and the ability necessary to the engagement in their occupations. Accordingly, the course selecting the quality of education in the curriculum plan for the vocational training shall be developed continuously and gradually through the maintenance of dose relation by the participation of the persons in the industries related to the major field. If the curriculum in the vocational training is for the preparation of employment, the focus of curriculum shall be adjusted to the employment. It needs to collect and analyze the related data between the universities and industries, particularly regional industries synthetically in order to develop the curriculum in the vocational training. The curriculum shall be planned on a basis of the data. As for the data related to the local community, it needs to develop new programs considering the prospect of demand of manpower by the industry, necessary knowledge, technology and attitudes, particularly considering the occupational category available in the employment with a bright prospect hereafter. Also, the contents to improve in the existing curriculum(a change of technology, a form of facilities for experimentㆍpractice, and a type of continuing & further education) shall be investigated and analyzed objectively. Accordingly, this study is to develop the curriculum more systematically in order to foster the character designer specially who to engage in the character industry that increases its role and expectation all the more with the development of animation industries and the extension of markets now. The purpose of this study is to decrease the estrangement between the school education that has been problems and the practical affairs in the field, to foster the special manpower that can satisfy the industries demand.

  • This study reconsidered the characteristics of the narrative through the analysis of the meaning and function of the film music in the feature film "The Truman Show". Especially, this study was focused on the music of Philip Glass among the film music of this film, and it started from the analysis of his musical meaning and function written in the pre-existing film according to the use of the editing music. As the film music needs to be analyzed from the viewpoint of the storytelling of the narrative of the film, the music is analyzed through 12 functions of the background music. Throughout the film, Philip Glass's music has been very important in the scenes of amplification, climax, and resolution of conflict. Especially, in the important context of the character and narrative structure of the film, such as the amplification of the tension and the resolution of the tension in the conflict of Truman, the main character of the film, Philip Glass's music is important through the contrast of the tempo of music and the contrast of emotional character. It can also be understood that this contrasts with the character and storytelling of the film in terms of film musical contrasts.

A Study on the Characteristics and Utilization of Modern for Hoseo Confucian Scholars' Seonbee's Spirit during 17th Century (17세기 호서유학자의 선비정신의 본질적 특징과 현대적 활용방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the seonbi spirit of Hoseo Confucian scholars in the 17th century centering around Noron's representative figures, Song Siyeol and Song Jungil, Mupyeonmudang's Gwon Si, and Soron's Yun Jeung. Criteria for being true seonbi and being equipped with seonbi spirit can be Chulcheojibyeon (出處之辯), Uirijibyeon (義利之辯), and Hwaijibyeon (華夷之辯). Considering these criteria, we can regard them as seonbi. Also, their seonbi spirit is differentiated from others in that they pursued the spirit of integrity, manners, and harmony more actively than anyone else. The seonbi spirit of Hoseo Confucian scholars in the 17th century is essentially characterized by the fact that it was the methodology and core virtue to reach Daedongsahoe through the realization of royal politics. In this sense, they strived to practice Uiri, the theoretical ground of it, carry out the project of Bukbeol, and establish Yehak aggressively. In this perspective, Hoseo Confucian scholars in the 17th century were true seonbi intending to apply and practice the spirit of Confucianism, for example, Sugichiin (修己治人), Iyonghusaeng (利用厚生), and DAedeokjohwa (大德調和), according to the historic mission of the time. Lastly, the seonbi spirit of Hoseo Confucian scholars in the 17th century can turn out to be an excellent alternative to eradicate social ills in this age. Particularly, if the current government uses seonbi spirit properly with the execution of 'the Act on the Promotion of the Humanities and Humane Spirit and Culture' or 'the Act on the Promotion of Character Education', it can form great contents for character education. Accordingly, this researcher here proposes a general model of character education using the seonbi spirit of Hoseo Confucian scholars in the 17th century and a convergent model of character education appropriate for the age of the fourth industrial revolution.

Narrative and Music of Changgeuk Madame Ong (창극 <변강쇠 점 찍고 옹녀>의 서사와 음악)

  • What is noticeable in Changgeuk Madame Ong is that for "narrativization," a main character is replaced with Madame Ong and her mother and a reinvented story as a result thereof is the female liberation from oppression. The director sought for the completeness of the narrative with a plot line created (i) by daringly deleting the latter half (episode relating to Gangsoe's death), which was a persistent problem unsolved both in the original and its derivative contents, (ii) by diluting Gangsoe's patriarchal authority and thereby creating the ending of endless love and the fruition of love, and (iii) by severing the link between Madame Ong's doomed fate of widowhood and Gangsoe's doomed fate of death by the violation of a taboo (the key factors of the original story) and at the same time, thereby inserting the doomed fate of death by Jowang (god of fire), declaring a war against jangseung (Korean traditional totem pole), the aesthetic structure representing "fictionization," and enabling a female character to gain love, fame and life through free will and spirit of resistance. The director achieved a remarkable success in terms of composition by (i) taping into a variety of genres of music, (ii) by maximizing the effect of Madame Ong's solo, (iii) by strengthening the "uniqueness of each part" through chorus, (iv) by creating a dramatic atmosphere for the change of scene, (v) by applying a dual variation of tension (resistance theme) and relaxation (freedom theme), etc.

Visual Contents Study of Historic Re-create about Memory of China 6th Generation Director (중국 6세대 감독의 기억에 관한 역사적 재현 영상콘텐츠 연구)

  • This dissertation is considered a historic generation that Chinese film $6^{th}$ director remembers through their life. Also it is figured out historic anguish and hurt how it was remembered and appeared in film. They have made actual films through their efforts which are different from the conventional generation. In addition, between memory and oblivion the time's signification in the history is showed how what way can be represented. It was presented the time's anguish through memory's metaphor in Chinese film $6^{th}$ works. Also, it was shown the existence's reality from dream was losing as memory was hiding between desire and despair. Additionally, the self of daily was expressed to unconcernedly accept reality, and its against the unchangeable world's eye and memory. The $6^{th}'s$ films' desire was expressed passive appearance to accept reality with losing dream in these three things; cannot be reality in the process to figure out own natural character, and appearance to keep traditional character, finally gradually changing reality. When $6^{th}$ directors analysis the history as memory, social repression follows family's repression, family's repression brings personal repression, and then repression changes to desire, finally the life as a reaction could be maintained. In conclusion, personal desire was covered for fantasy, and the overcoming figure was represented. Moreover, Chinese face that $6^{th}$ directors have memorized was presented through these sentiments.
