Space given at home, furniture is an important condition to determine its size. As a method for satisfying outer and functional human needs, ever changing, shaped form has also been developed. Modern people tend to decorate the beautiful living space to the needs of the beauty and space of living. In order to satisfy these requirements, the development of furniture to suit the taste of modern people is required. In this study, we add together the design and contemporary design of traditional Korean and use of raw wood can feel the natural and applied to furniture retro design. It is possible to have a motif characteristic of Hanok traditional to suggest a design where you can feel the sensitivity with retro in the direction of the current design change is large and diverse, and in harmony with the living space of modern it is an object that you study the production lighting and storage furniture with the complexity of the traditional and modern.

Restaurant is a settign for est and social intercousrse fo rpeople in the cities, and is essential to provide its users with pleasant and comfort space. Color is used as a design tool which has most powerful effect to change the nature of a space and atmosphere, As a basic study for desirable environmental color for restaurant, this is studied mainly on the following discussion points. 1) Inportance of environmental color and its role in accordance with space characteristics as restaurant. 2) The psychological effects of color in the clinetes, color conditioning of the dining ares, problem of change in the appearance of color in the selection of materials and color harmony of total environments. 3) Prior to color planning in detail , the nature and characteristics each restaurant contains and their correlation with various locational , physical , social environmental , human variables have been analyzed. And the total atmosphere of the dining area as a place where the clients finally stay has been dealt with various visual , environmental and functional problems of color about fixed elements such as the wall. the floor, the ceiling and semifixed elements such as tables, chairs, etc.

The form of the furniture developed variously according to the flow of the time. The Soban used in the modern living space is used as a decoration. but the furniture has to be used according to the form of the modern life and residential space. The furniture is the medium interacting with the surrounding environment in the residential space. I reconstruct the splendid fanciness of the pattern of the Haejuban and nature of structure and apply to the table design. The table gave the change of the form in order to be suitable for the residential space. and it raised the efficiency of the convenient of the custody and space utilization.

The interest in natural environment as a new living culture is turning to the programs that give us direct experience rather than indirect one. This change demands new sort of analysis on space in order to design hotel lobby space which satisfies contemporarians' emotion. Hereupon, this article has its purpose of studying the characteristics of environment-friendly expression as a means to approach to the space design of hotel lobby space in which men and nature can coexist and men can be richer in their emotion. Moreover, through the flow and types of environment-friendly design, this study intends to emphasize the importance of introducing natural factors and suggest the possibility of diversification in environment-friendly expression.

Modern society has achieved rapid growth in economy and materials whereas it caused such problems as municipal extension and high density of population, Due to rapid change of social environment, it became more complicated and multifarious than ever it before. Helping the people all kinds of routine affairs police box is giving a negative image to the citizens, for its environment doesn't have got rid of its old fashion . It's being an unharmonious factor to its surroundings, a solution is needed. So, this study is focused on recognizing the change of value system with the flow of time, planning a new image of police box for the change and in consequence recovering the trustworthy between people and the nation. For this , by grasping the characteristics of each space and through space-dividing and design corresponding to it, the plan is provided to make a pleasant interior environment of police box and to make it a symbol of local society. As a result of this study, we will have the police box not only as an office providing the locals with security and service but also as eyes of the country which watches the municipal environment.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of spatial composition of educational facilities by design process model. This article discuses about the characteristics of the floor plan composition and the site plan patterns of 49 middle and high schools in gyeongnam province. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Comparing to traditional middle and high school facilities, it occurs various types of plane and the area is somewhat expanded in the school with same class size, however, it needs to improve facility standards in its reality to deal with the change of future educational environment actively. 2) Spatial composition of educational facilities should functionally designed considering that the characteristics of design process model. In facilities arrangement of middle and high schools, it shows diverse forms of arrangement from existing uniform straight type, however, most of schools do not being against the simple in their external space. Therefore, it requires an expansion of space siæ and facilities for the change of school life outside class.

This paper reviews a new kitchen space by analyzing the user life style and their house environment where ubiquitous system is considered. The kitchen space where ubiquitous system is applied was differ in their house atmosphere and the role of kitchen area. Those changes under ubiquitous system has the kitchen becomes the central space of the house and the furnishings including home appliances and furnitures. This furniture and built-in machine will get a communication ability with user in the living and kitchen space. And it will include a high technology like as RFID, home network and so on.

Rurban house is the place to satisfy man's the most basic desires to live and dwell. In this study , the composing Type of the outer space and its connection with the innerspace are researched. And also it investigated how various environmental factors are reflected in the rurban housing development. As Louis Kahn said, "Archiecture is the thoughtful for-mation the space and the endless transformation of architec-ture is derived from the change of space idea." In the recent days, It is true that the qualitative aspect of a rurban house rather than the quantitative one has empha-sized. As man cannot make a living when seperated from the nature, the currents of life in the rurban house should be flowed into the new environmental change.

Illumination in church building has played an important role in making workship space more suitable for divine service. As time has changed, however, the worship space of Protestantism is no longer somber and reverent, but changing into practical and multipurpose space with bright and colorful image. This study investigates intensity of illumination of worship space during day and night respectively and figures out the change of psychological change of congregation in accordance with brightness and color temperature in worship space in order to find out preference and look into the usage and change of illumination in recent Protestantism in compliance with the needs of the time and influence. Then, result value is to be compared to Korean Standard intensity of illumination. Also, the correlation between intensity of illumination and color temperature by Kruithof's curve theory is used to identify the comfortableness of the worship space during day and nigh. And it is a common task of space designers and pastors to map out the worship space in terms of illumination suitable for its own purpose with even more modern and Korean sensibility and to create spiritual space for worshippers by collecting opinions from congregation, the main user of the space. With appropriate usage of illumination in Protestantism worship space, the atmosphere and purpose of worship can be enhanced.

The Commercial space are changed gradually large scalized and complexed to introduce different culture exchanges and experience. However, the mass-complex commercial space are limited as of their complexed space composition or degree of space depth, which may become factors causing people to get tired easily. Thus, having a design strategy is important to create economical effectiveness in order to overcome these limitations and for the people to stay longer and do their consumption activities through more experiences and social interchanges. Recently, Jerde Partnership's who designed many complex commercial spaces made a commercial success by their unique design strategy to setup a new space and lead the interaction between space and people. The purpose of this study is based on Jerd's design concept to analyze Jerd Partnership's design strategy and space related structure to propose their space construction and design method for mass-complex commercial spaces. The results are as follows. (1)Jerde Partnership's causes the abundant space experience of the user through mass and space constitution to have a theme and a story. (2)They builds an excursion type line of flow system with an organic curve, and a non-daily experience by the change of the space scale and the application of various programs is enabled and guides the stay for the long time. (3)They builds the doorway of various courses and a circulation system through the open space and controls depth of the space. In addition, various events are performed in the center of such a circulation system, and this event makes a unique place.
