A polymeric micelle, based on the poly(benzyl-L-histidine)-b-poly(ethylene glycol) (polyBz-His-b-PEG) diblock copolymer, was designed as a tumor-specific targeting carrier. The micelles (particle size: 67-80 nm, critical micelle concentration (CMC); 2-3 $\mu$g/mL) were formed from the diafilteration method at pH 7.4, as a result of self-assembly of the polyBz-His block at the core and PEG block on the shell. Removing benzyl (Bz) group from polyBz-His block provided pH-sensitivity of the micellar core; the micelles were physically destabilized in the pH range of pH 7.4-5.5, depending on the content of the His group free from Bz group. The ionization of His group at a slightly acidic pH promoted the deformation of the interior core. These pHdependent physical changes of the micelles provide the mechanism for pH-triggering anticancer drug (e.g., doxorubicin: DOX) release from the micelle in response to the tumor’s extracellular pH range (pH 7.2-6.5).

The effect of plasma operational parameters for the determination of rare earth elements(REE) by means of inductively coupled plasma(ICP) spectrometry was investigated. While the increase in the flow rate of carrier gas argon enhanced the sensitivity and lowered the detection limit, significant ionization interferences were observed. The decrease in RF power increased the signal to background ratio. The observation point showing the lowest ionization interference was slightly higher than the position where the spatial profile of the analyte reached the maximum. The detection limits of the spectral lines commonly used for the determination of REE were measured and the spectral lines relatively free from spectral interferences were chosen.

Recently, ship owners have been requiring the assessment of the maneuverability of a twin-screw ship under machinery failures. In this paper, we are only focused on the propulsion failure among propulsion failure, power supply failure, steering system failure etc. First of all, the mathematical model for the twin-screw 174K LNGC is verified by comparing the simulated results for $35^{\circ}$ turning test, $10^{\circ}/10^{\circ}$ zigzag test and $20^{\circ}/20^{\circ}$ zigzag test under normal operating condition and those obtained from free running model tests. And, sea trial results of 216K LNGC under single propeller failure are compared with those of 174K LNGC under identical condition to verify the proposed method to predict maneuverability under single propeller failure. After the straight line maneuver is simulated under the single propeller failure, the speed and equilibrated heading and rudder deflection angles at steady state are predicted. After the IMO maneuvering tests are simulated under the single propeller failure, the results are reviewed to investigate the maneuvering characteristics due to the failure.

Nucleophilic aromatic fluorination has been one of the most explored methods in fluorin-18 based radiochemistry. Unlike electrophilic $[^{18}F]$fluorination methods, no-carrier-added nucleophilic radiofluorination with cyclotron-produced $[^{18}F]$fluoride ion offers better specific radioactivity which is essential aspect to obtain good quality images from positron emission tomography. Contrary to amenable aliphatic radiofluorination, the development of reliable aromatic $[^{18}F]$fluorination methods has been pursued by many research groups; however, no viable method has yet been established. Recently, hypervalent iodine compound draws increasing attention as versatile radiolabeling precursor for various $[^{18}F]$fluoroarenes, since it bears the capacity to introduce fluorine-18 either on electron-deficient or electron-rich aryl ring with enhanced regiospecificity. Other classes of hypervalent iodine congeners often utilized in radiochemistry are iodylarenes, iodonium ylides, and spirocyclic iodonium ylides. Recently developed spirocyclic iodonium ylides have already been avidly employed to provide various $[^{18}F]$aryl fluorides with high labeling efficiency. This metal-free protocol would afford efficient routes, replacing the traditional approaches to $[^{18}F]$fluoroarenes, from prosthetic labeling synthons to complex PET radiotracers.

We report an ultraclean, cost-effective, and easily scalable method of transferring and patterning large-area graphene using pressure sensitive adhesive films (PSAFs) at room temperature. This simple transfer is enabled by the difference in wettability and adhesion energy of graphene with respect to PSAF and a target substrate. The PSAF transferred graphene is found to be free from residues, and shows excellent charge carrier mobility as high as ${\sim}17,700cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ with less doping compared to the graphene transferred by thermal release tape (TRT) or poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as well as good uniformity over large areas. In addition, the sheet resistance of graphene transferred by recycled PSAF does not change considerably up to 4 times, which would be advantageous for more cost-effective and environmentally friendly production of large-area graphene films for practical applications.

This paper introduces a computational method for analysis of the 6-DOF motions of a ship in waves using an overset grid technique which consists of inner and outer domains for representing body motions and numerical wave tank, respectively. High order interpolation scheme is employed to increase numerical accuracy over the interface where physical values, such as velocities and pressure, interact between the inner and outer domains. The numerical schemes and algorithm are addressed in the present paper. An application to motion of KCS container carrier in head waves is presented, and the comparison of responses on heave and pitch motions shows good agreement with those of model tests.

In this paper, the needs for introduction and adoption of MㆍHF DSC/NBDP system and for developments of its circuits and call sequences for use in the maritime mobile services for small-ships, leisure-ships and fishing ships are analyzed, discussed. Also design and implement for MㆍHF(1.6-4MHz) DSC/NBDP system is discussed. Most of casualties have been arisen from small-ships and fishing ships during last 5 years. So, the SAR schematic plans should been prepared to prevent casualties and facilitate the activities of SAR for those ships. DSC/NBDP for MㆍHF system is able to fulfill the roles of efficient SAR communication functions, and to advance the SAR system to small ships and fishing ships. This study is focused on the techniques of processing the DSC call sequences and the ARQ sequences of NBDP system. Especially ARQ sequences are expanded into processing of Korean letters, designed the call sequences and code conversion algorithm for Korean-code. It will be evaluated the availability of Korean-NBDP system. In designing the Transmitting circuits and Receiving circuits, for the carrier generation, DDS(Direct Digital Synthesizer) is used in stead of the Phase Locked Loop and frequency conversion by the mixer, BPF. And PSK modulation signals are directly generated by the controls of DDS, which show the characteristics of Spurious Free Dynamic Range are below -62dBc. Also, the monolithic U subsystem IC which provides various functional components, AD608 is used for designing the receiving circuitsㆍAnd the algorithm of Phasing methode for FSK demodulation are devised to process IF frequency 455kHz in the IF circuits.
Since the middle of 1950's, containerization has been rapidly spread over the world in virtue of great merits providing to interensts, and the fundamental changes in port management and prot operations are resulted. As the container terminal is a complex system which is consisted of various subsystems, the treatment for improving the productivity is required in a comprehensive fashion, both in each of its parts and as an integrated system. This paper aims to make an intensive analysis of the Busan Container Terminal system, especially focusing on its subsystems such as ship operation system, storage system and transfer system. First of all, the intrinsic capacity of various subsystems is calculated and it is checked whether the current operation is being performed effectively through the formal analysis. Secondly, the suggestion is presented to improve the operation by considering the throughput that the port of Busan will have to accept in the near future. The results are as follows; 1) As the inefficiency is due to the imbalance between various subsystems at Busan terminal, transfer equipment level must be up to 31% for straddle carrier and 67% transfer crane above all. 2) The yard capacity must be increased by reducing the free dwell time of containers in order to accept the traffic volume smoothly in the near future. 3) The better way to reduce the port congestion is to change berthing rule from the FIFP to the Pre-allocated system by considering the ship arrival pattern.

The control of Ga doping in ZnO nanowires (NWs) by physical vapor deposition has been implemented and characterized. Various Ga-doped ZnO NWs were grown using the vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) method, with Au catalyst on c-plane sapphire substrate by hot-walled pulsed laser deposition (HW-PLD), one of the physical vapor deposition methods. The structural, optical and electrical properties of Ga-doped ZnO NWs have been systematically analyzed, by changing Ga concentration in ZnO NWs. We observed stacking faults and different crystalline directions caused by increasing Ga concentration in ZnO NWs, using SEM and HR-TEM. A $D^0X$ peak in the PL spectra of Ga doped ZnO NWs that is sharper than that of pure ZnO NWs has been clearly observed, which indicated the substitution of Ga for Zn. The electrical properties of controlled Ga-doped ZnO NWs have been measured, and show that the conductance of ZnO NWs increased up to 3 wt% Ga doping. However, the conductance of 5 wt% Ga doped ZnO NWs decreased, because the mean free path was decreased, according to the increase of carrier concentration. This control of the structural, optical and electrical properties of ZnO NWs by doping, could provide the possibility of the fabrication of various nanowire based electronic devices, such as nano-FETs, nano-inverters, nano-logic circuits and customized nano-sensors.

Graphene is a carbon based material and it has intriguing features, such as phenomenally strong, thin, flexible, transparent and conductive, those make it attractive for a broad range of applications.Unfortunately, graphene is extremely sensitive to contamination. When we fabricate graphene devices, electrical properties of graphene are altered [1], and the charge carrier mobility drops accordingly by orders of magnitude. This significant impact on electron mobility occurs because any surrounding medium could act as a dominant source of extrinsic scattering, which effectively reduces the mean free path of carriers [2,3]. The dominant contaminant is generated through fabrication stage by polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) [4], or photo resist (PR). Surface contamination by these residues has long been a critical problem in probing graphene's intrinsic properties. If we clearly solve this problem, we can get highly performed graphene devices. Here, we will report on graphene cleaning process by Induced Coupled Plasma (ICP). We demonstrated how much decomposition of residue impact on improving electrical properties of graphene.
