  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of expected cadastral coordinate maps by type of district boundary surveying and the problems of non-coincidence with the surrounding land parcels, and to suggest ways to improve them in the future. Currently, the expected cadastral coordinate maps are drawn using various methods such as reference point adjust adjustment, reference point adjust adjustment and present condition, reference point and present condition. As a result, there was a problem of non-coincidence such as overlapping or blanking in expected cadastral coordinate maps for cadastral confirmation surveying and surrounding individual parcels. In addition, detailed unified standards for minimizing the occurrence of non-coincidence problems are lacking. In order to improve the problems analyzed, the study suggested the acquisition and management of digital coordinates for the parcels around the district boundary, the preparation and dissemination of cadastral surveying results determination standard manual for the preparation of expected cadastral coordinate maps, and the preparation of educational programs for cadastral surveying results determination.

  • This study analyzed the positional accuracy of cadastral control points where central datum points and eastern datum points meet in the area of standard datum of geographic coordinate, in order to suggest the possibility of converting cadastral coordinates into global coordinates in the future in areas between cadastral datum. 12 GPS observation data points were extracted from the station of triangulation in the experimental area, and the accuracy of coordinate conversions in the area where central and eastern datum points meet was analyzed. The results show that the x-coordinate RMSE was ${\pm}0.0014m$ and the y-coordinate RMSE was ${\pm}0.0011m$. Such excellent results indicated that it is possible to convert to the global coordinate system. Thus, in converting to the global coordinate system, it appears possible to convert even borderline datum point areas if points with stable outcomes are selected by inspecting various triangulation markers, then used to carry out the conversion.

  • In this study, from a long-term perspective, we tried to find and present a plan to apply the results of transformation of cadastral coordinates to the world geodetic system in stages for cadastral records of graphical and digital cadastral area. There was a case where the difference in area before and after the transformation occurred irregularly in the transformation result of the cadastral coordinate system currently being promoted. In addition, it was found that transformation errors in cadastral non-coincidence areas occurred accumulatively, and the period for acquiring world geodetic results for cadastral reference points was insufficient. In order to solve this problem, the study proposed a plan to provide spatial information and related fields through advancement of continuous cadastral maps, etc. for maps that have been primarily transformed by the end of 2020. In addition, the maps used for cadastral surveying purposes were presented in the direction of applying them to cadastral records in numerical form in the long term to conform to the characteristics of graphical and digital cadastral area. It is expected that more stable cadastral record will be reflected by applying the world coordinate transformation performance by dividing the graphical and digital cadastral area.

  • Cadastral map information is created by registering parcel information such as location, lot number, land category and boundary through the cadastral survey. However, with regard to boundary point coordinate, computerized cadastral information data was registered to either two decimal places (unit in centimeter) or three decimal places (unit in millimeter) so that a confusion in cadastral administration and cadastral survey has been caused. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look for a method of matching two different coordinate systems through the consideration of registration of cadastral information data and area calculation. In conclusion, the result of the investigation not only shows that areal change and the creation of minute polygons resulted from land alteration could be solved by changing boundary point coordinate from two decimal places to three decimal places, but also suggests that the related laws and regulations to register boundary point coordinate to three decimal places should be institutionally corrected and applied.

  • The fact on a variety of the plane coordinate systems in cadastral survey field caused a troublesome stage by different standards for the production of cadastral maps. The cadastral maps with different origins are not standardized in terms of unit and coordinate system, which introduces surveying problems at the edges where two or more zones meet. Moreover, difficulties in the creation of seamless digital cadastral map DBs between different coordinate systems has become the obstacle to establish various levels of spatial information systems for the efficient management of Korean Peninsula. Therefore, the aim of the study is to present a way to mutual coordinate transformation by clarifying the systematic differences between the areas of different origins.

  • This study aimed at suggesting the possibility of an application that connects cadastral control point and urban control point. In order to do this, we calculated and analyzed the cadastral coordinate on urban control point by using the GPS observation data of Changwon-si urban control point (32 points) which was announced based on the result of global coordinate system. We calculated cadastral coordinate through using three different kinds of calculation S/Ws, and compared the results of the calculation with the preexisting result of urban control point. The comparison suggested that the gap between the new results and the existing results is in the range of error specified by a law. Therefore, the result can be used in cadastral surveying. However, for the safe application in practical works, we suggested that it would be better to carry out new cadastral surveying and use its result than to use the result of the current urban control point directly in surveying cadastral. In addition, we suggested that it is necessary to examine precisely the local station of triangulation. Finally, we recommended that one should use trilateral network adjustment S/W as one's calculation S/W.

  • Numerical cadastral surveying method has advantages of higher accuracy and less individual error than planetable surveying method if we consider the result of surveying at the same area. Now in the areas where they use numerical cadastral records, coordinate is the basis when the boundary location is registered in numerical cadastral re-cords or is reconstructed on land surface, and this coordinate represents simply the absolute locational relationship with respect to origin point. But when we register the cadastral boundary location in cadastral or reconstruct it on land, relative relationship with respect to traverse point is more advisable basis than absolute relationship with respect to orgin point. This study contributes to the numerical cadastral surveying by discussing the problems to be improved that the principle of coordinate based boundary location registration and reconstruction has.

  • This study is purposed on showing an effective process for coordinate transformation of cadastral maps, based on the local datum, in the World Geodetic System (WGS) for Cadastral Reform Project (CRP). The process follows three steps: coordinate adjustment, datum transformation and distortion modeling. The first procedure is that point coordinates on local datum has to be adjusted by those GPS observed point-to-point distances, using trilateration. Secondly, the adjusted coordinates need to be transformed to WGS by applying the Affine model, while the verification of the methodology is implemented under numerical experiments. To conduct this procedure, 195 points in the same coordinate origins in Seoul and 61 points in several different origins in Incheon are used in the estimation. As a result, there are less than 2cm coordinate differences between transformed coordinates and measured ones at everywhere. Also, it is remarkable that the transformation does not depend on either of the particular common points or the sizes of computed region. Therefore, this suggested methodology is expected to easily provide identifications and corrections for points-deviations for improved quality of the cadastral map by distortion modeling through CRP.

  • Data processing service via internet help user to get the GNSS data processing result more precise and easily. Thus, online data process system is operated and developed by various research groups and national. But this service is difficult to use in domestic cadastral survey. In this study, we developed the online data processing system for a domestic cadastral survey. This is calculated coordinate using NGII CORS(SUWN) fiducially. And use PPP technique by GIPSY-OASIS. If user choose the observation data which want to calculate the coordinate, then is uploaded to GIPSY-OASIS server through FTP. After upload is complete, server automatically calculate coordinate, and send the report about result using e-mail. And it takes 2 minutes runtime on the basis of the 3 sessions. To verify the result, we used the data on SOUL, JUNJ as compared with notified-coordinate from NGII. As a result, got the difference for east-west 1.4 cm, north-south -1.0 cm, vertical 0.5 cm.

  • Trilateral adjustment can complement the problem of transforming cadastral maps into World Geodetic Coordinate system. First, it is possible to determine adjusted coordinate of common points that match each other over a wide area. Second, calculations that focus on specific points can be performed. Third, a solution that maintains the shape of the regional network can be obtained through constraints. Thus, the point coordinates can be determined appropriately for the survey system. In addition, heterogeneous survey results that span regions with different coordinate origins can be calculated on a single origin coordinate. This improves the efficiency of the workflow in tranforming cadastral maps into World Geodetic Coordinate System.
