컴퓨터 그래픽스를 이용한 케이블 구조의 초기형태 설계 (Preliminary Form Design of Cable Structure using Computer Graphics)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 그래픽 S/W는 변수화 모델링과 생성알고리즘을 제공함으로써 기하학적 표현의 다양성뿐만 아니라 설계자의 의도를 체계적으로 모듈화할 수 있는 여러 가지 가능성을 열어주고 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 가능성을 지닌 컴퓨터 그래픽 S/W기반으로 초기 구조형태를 생성하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 변수화 모델링과 생성 알고리즘을 이용하여 다양한 설계대안을 생성한다. 더욱이 동적 그래픽스개념을 이용하여 설계자가 한편에서는 구조형태를 생성하는 동안에, 또 다른 한편에서는 상응하는 힘의 흐름도가 마련되도록 한다. 이는 궁극적으로 힘의 흐름에 근거한 합리적 초기 구조형태 설계를 지원하게 될 것이다.

  • There are a number of construction methods to build spatial structures such as erection method, Element method, Block method, Sliding method, Lift-up method and Push-up method. These methods are uneconomical and low accuracy, and require long construction duration because of a need of a scaffold or a tower crane to build spatial roof frame. In this study, the construction method to erect a truss structure was proposed as an economical and easy installation method. The proposed method has end hinges of keel truss and winches with horizontal cable. This method makes safe and accurate production and reduces construction duration because trusses are built on the floor or supporter. The goal of this study is to verify the validity of construction method by building scale model using the proposed method.

옥살산과 몰리브덴산나트륨 전해액에서 냉연강판에 전해중합된 폴리아닐린 피막의 특성 (Characterization of Electro-Polymerized Polyaniline Film on the Cold Rolled Sheet in the Oxalic acid and Sodium Molybdate Electrolyte)

  • Increasing environmental concerns require to solve the problem produced due to the use of heavy metals in coating formulations. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new coating strategy employing inherently conducting polymers such as polyaniline. Polyaniline is a conductive polymer that is synthesized by oxidation polymerization, and the electrochemical and chemical polymerization are possible for the oxidation of aniline. Electrochemical oxidation polymerization produces a fine surface and although voltage control is more convenient, it require electrolytic cells, and elaborate thin film can be acquired with the polymerization. Polyaniline films were electro-polymerized on cold rolled sheets using the galvanostat mode in the oxalic acidaniline-sodium molybdate electrolyte. The structure and properties of polyaniline film were studied using Potentiostat/Galvanostat 263A, FE-SEM,, AFM, SST, Colorimetry. A high corrosion resistance of polyaniline film was observed with an increase of corrosion potential by $500{\sim}600$ mV for the substrate covered with polyaniline.

방화용 실런트 성능 평가 방법 연구 (A study for the test method of fire resistance construction sealant)

  • Many kinds of fire-stop sealants have been used for joint sealing, cable penetration part sealing and fireproof structure finishing etc in building sectors which need water-proofing and fire-stop properties. But, fire-stop sealant itself has no specific industry standards in Korea even though there are so many required properties for the application. So, in this study, for the evaluation, we adopted and applied UL standard 94(UL 94) which is commonly used for the fire retardant testing in inflammable materials like plastics and rubbers in electronics industry. In this study, we demonstrated fire resistance properties of each fire-stop sealants which varied with different formulation, thickness and origins available in Korea. Overall, fire stop sealant had better fire resistance performance than normal construction sealant. And the thicker the material, the better the fire resistance performance was. Because there is no national or industry guideline for fire stop sealant itself, each sealant products showed different level of performances under UL94 desigation. Even certain product had very poor fire proof propeties although it claims it can be used for the application.

고속 데이터 통신을 위한 Blind DFE Equalizer의 설계 (Design of a Blind DFE Equalizer for high-speed data communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 케이블 모뎀을 위한 DFE(Decision Feedback Equalizer) 구조의 blind 등화기를 설계하였다. 변복조 방식은 64/256 QAM이며 채널 적응 알고리즘으로는 제안한 MMA(Multi-Modulus Algorithm)와 LMS (Least Mean Square) 알고리즘을 같이 사용하였다. MMA 알고리즘과 DFE 구조를 가진 등화기는 본 논문에서 처음 제안한다. 기존의 MMA 등화기는 두 개의 FIR 필터를 사용하여 두 개의 탭 계수를 갱신하였으나, 본 논문에서 제안하는 MMA 알고리즘은 하나의 탭 계수 갱신만으로 채널 등화가 가능하도록 제안하였으며, DFE 구조에 적용하여 두 개의 DFE 필터를 사용하여 채널 적응 능력을 높히고 탭 수를 줄였다. 0.35 $\mu\textrm{m}$ standard cell library를 이용하여 ASIC 칩을 설계하였다. 설계한 등화기는 약 16만개의 게이트 수와 8 MHz의 동작속도를 보였으며 데이터 전송 속도는 64Mbps까지 지원한다.

인간형 다지 다관절 로봇 핸드의 개발 (Design and Control of Anthropomorphic Robot hand)

  • In this study, an anthropomorphic robot Hand, called "SKKU Hand III" is presented. The hand has thirteen DOF(Degree-Of-Freedom) and is designed based on the skeletal structure of the human hand. Each finger module(except thumb module) has three DOF and four joints with a saddle joint mechanism which has two DOF at the base joint. Two distal joints of the finger module are mechanically coupled by a timing belt and pulleys. The thumb module is composed of a finger module and an additional actuator, which makes it possible to realize the opposition between the thumb and the other fingers. In addition, the palm DOF of the human hand is mimicked with a spatial link mechanism between the index finger and the thumb. Thus, it can grasp objects more stably and more strongly. For the modularization of the robotic hand all the driving circuits are embedded in the hand, and only the communication lines supporting CAN protocol with DC power cable are given as an interface. Therefore, it is possible to apply it to any robot system the interface. To validate the feasibility of the SKKU Hand III, a series of the representative grasp experiments such as power, precision, intermediate grasp etc. are carried out with the object around us and its operation is demonstrated.

케이블 사장교용 내고온·내고압 유압 펌프의 설계에 관한 연구 (Study on Design of Hydraulic Pump with High Temperature and High Pressure Resistance for Cable-Stayed Bridge)

  • Hydraulic pumps are widely used in fields such as machinery manufacturing, engineering and construction. Although the research on hydraulic engineering is mature, it is still necessary to examine various performance aspects in detail for specific applications. This paper will focus on the hydraulic pump used in special construction machinery that needs high temperature and high pressure resistance. It will analyze the theoretical design, structure and thermal characteristics of the pump system using the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) method, and will measure the key tolerance parameters of the hydraulic pump to ensure the accuracy of the machining. Through this research, a good design method for the linear reciprocating type of hydraulic pump can be summarized.

Development of umbrella anchor approach in terms of the requirements of field application

  • In this study, an innovative anchoring approach has been developed dealing with all relevant aspects in consideration of previous works. An ultimate pulling force calculation of anchor is presented from a geotechnical point of view. The proposed umbrella anchor focuses not only on the friction resistance capacity, but also on the axial capacity of the composite end structure and the friction capacity occurring around the wedge. Even though the theoretical background is proposed, in-situ application requires high-level mechanical design. Hence, the required parts have been carefully improved and are composed of anchor body, anchor cap, connection brackets, cutter vanes, open-close ring, support elements and grouting system. Besides, stretcher element made of aramid fabric, interior grouting system, guide tube and cable-locking apparatus are the unique parts of this design. The production and placement steps of real sized anchors are explained in detail. Experimental results of 52 pullout tests on the weak dry soils and 12 in-situ tests inside natural soil indicate that the proposed approach is conservative and its peak pullout value is directly limited by a maximum strength of anchored soil layer if other failure possibilities are eliminated. Umbrella anchor is an alternative to conventional anchor applications used in all types of soils. It not only provides time and workmanship benefits, but also a high level of economic gain and safe design.

태양광 에너지를 이용한 발열논슬립의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Heating Nonslip using Solar Power Energy)

  • This study aims to analyze the performance of Heated-nonslip using renewable energy to prevent nonslip freezing during winter. For this purpose, power generation system and congratulatory devices using solar energy are designed, and it is designed to provide regular electricity to heat up nonslip through Electrical storage system(ESS). In this study, It is intended to analyze the level of electrical energy suitable for nonslip using 24V or 48V, and to measure the temperature changes and temperature distribution according to the location of the test object. As a result of the experiment, nonslip's frame temperature was measured at $-7.5{\sim}-5^{\circ}C$ on average, and $-1{\sim}-2^{\circ}C$ on the heating cable during the supply of 24V and this could not be the solution for defrosting freezing nonslip in the winter. As a result of heating nonslip by supplying 48V with an electrical power of 8W, the temperature of the nonslip was shown to be between $5^{\circ}C$ and $11^{\circ}C$ to $13^{\circ}C$. Even if the power supply was switched on and off every minute, the temperature did not drop below $4^{\circ}C$ and the frozen ice melted on the nonslip without freezing.

해안 구조물의 기하형상과 변위 해석 (Analysis of Geometric Shape and Displacement in Coastal Structure)

  • 본 연구는 국내에 시공이 완료되어 공용중인 해안 구조물 중 현수교를 대상으로 그 기하형상을 결정하고, 이를 이용하여 공용 이후의 대상 현수교의 변위를 결정함으로써, 케이블 교량의 안정성을 평가하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 공용 이후 시기별 주경간의 길이, sag, sag 비, 그리고 주탑의 변위를 산정하였다. 이는 대상 현수교 주탑의 거동에 따른 단계별 관리기준과 비교해 볼 때, 대상 현수교가 유지관리기준 범위 내에서 안정적으로 거동하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 현수교의 거동을 정확히 파악하기 위해서는 그 기하형상의 결정이 우선시된다. 따라서 공용기간 및 교통량의 증가에 따른 주기적인 실측형상모델의 결정이 필요하며, 이는 현수교 유지관리에 있어서 그 안정성 확보에 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
