Data were collected using self-report questionnaires and data were analyzed by frequency, percent, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation between smartphone addiction and sleep quality, a significant positive correlation between smart addiction and depression, and a significant negative correlation between sleep quality and depression. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a useful basic data when looking for education and program development strategies to improve and prevent smartphone addiction, sleep quality, and depression of college students. In addition, it is required to apply a systematic educational program considering this.

  • This study was a descriptive study to investigate the effects of healthcare workers' consciousness of biomedical ethics, recognition of good death, and self-esteem on attitude toward advance directive. Participants in this study were 292 healthcare workers in the three general hospitals located Y city. The data were collected from April 2 to April 23, 2019 and analyzed descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS Win. 22.0 program. The result of the multiple regression indicates the intention to awareness regarding advance directives, intention to execute advance directives, time to complete advance directives and recognition of good death predict 23.5% (F=12.39, P=.000) of attitudes toward advance directives. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program to establish attitudes toward advance directives by providing education on recognition of good death of healthcare workers.

  • This study was conducted to identify factors affecting patient safety management (PSM) of nursing student's who have experienced clinical practice. The study subjects were 232 nursing students in five universities in five cities. Data were collected between June 17 and July 30, 2019 using by completing structured self report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using T-test, ANOV A, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. In correlation ana lysis, significant positive correlations were found between PSM practice, PSM importance awareness (r= .42, p<.001), PSM knowledge(r= .29, p<.001), and PSM attitude(r= .35, p<.001). In multiple regressi on analysis, PSM importance awareness(β=.19, p<.001) was factor predicting PSM practice of nursing students, which explained 36.2% of the variance in the model. Thus, we emphasize that continuing PSM education at the university is required to improve PSM competency.

  • Numerical study was performed to investigate the convective heat transfer of Al2O3/water nanofluid flowing through the concentric double pipe counterflow heat exchangers. Hot fluid flowing through the inner pipe transfers its heat to cooling fluid flowing in the outer pipe. Effects of important parameters such as hot and cold volume flow rates, fluid type in the outer and inner pipes, and nanoparticles concentration on the heat transfer and flow characteristics are investigated. The results indicated that the heat transfer performance increases with increasing the hot and cold volume flow rates, as well as the particle concentrations. When both outer and inner pipes are nanofluids with 8% nanoparticle volume concentration, nanofluids showed up to 17% better heat transfer rate than basic fluids. Also, the average heat transfer coefficient of the base fluid for annulus-side improved by 31%. Approximately 20% enhancement in the heat exchanger effectiveness can be achieved with the addition of 8% alumina particles in base fluid. But, addition of nanoparticles to the base fluid enhanced friction factor by about 196%.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine relationships among resilience and family support on job stress and identity the factors that influence on job stress in police officers. Participants were 152 police officer working in C city, H and C districts. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS Win. 23.0 program. The result of the multiple regression indicates the family support, gender, positivity, work experience, and work type predict 25.0%(F=10.84, p<.001) in job stress. Therefore, it is necessary to develop program a resilience and family support use specific strategies to decrease job stress.

  • This study was conducted to identify factors that affect the life satisfaction of college students. The subjects of this study were 191 students from three universities located in one area, and the data collection used self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of the study showed that significant factors affecting the life satisfaction of the subjects were self-esteem and school life satisfaction, and the explanatory power according to the influence factors was 42.3%. The research results suggest that improving college students' self-esteem and school life satisfaction can help them improve their life satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to consider self-esteem and school life satisfaction when developing educational programs to improve the life satisfaction of college students in the future.

  • Laminar mixed convection of a nanofluid consists of water and $Al_2O_3$ in a horizontal circular tube has been studied numerically. Two-phase mixture model has been used to investigate hydrodynamic and thermal behaviors of the nanofluid with variables physical properties. Three dimensional Navier-Stokes, energy and volume fraction equations have been discretized using the finite volume method. The Brownian motions of nanoparticles have been considered to determine the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity of $Al_2O_3$-Water nanofluid, which depend on temperature. The calculated results show good agreement with the previous numerical data. Results show that in a given Reynolds number (Re), increasing solid nanoparticles volume fraction and Richardson number (Ri) increases the convective heat transfer coefficient and wall shear stress.

  • This descriptive convergence research aimed to explore predictors of retention intention of nurses. Participants were 207 nurses from five small and medium-sized hospital located in city G and province J. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's corelation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Among predictors, nursing practice environment, age, peer group caring interaction, current hospital work experience, and assignment to desired department significantly affected retention intention and nursing practice environment had the greatest effect on retention intention(${\beta}=.35$). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to make efforts to improve nursing practice environment, caring interaction and good relationship between organizations.

  • This study aimed to explore predictors of terminal care stress of nurses. Participants were 197 nurses from a C university hospital in J city. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. On hierarchial multiple regression, dignified dying attitude, turnover intention, well dying attitude, and spirituality explained 39.6% of variance in terminal care stress. The results suggest that dignified dying attitude, well dying attitude, spirituality need to be properly assessed and managed to reduce terminal care stress of nurses.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between depression and stress self-esteem, self-efficacy and nursing students influence factors. This study is a descriptive research study of 116 nursing college students in 3rd graders at two c, h colleges in c area. The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient calculation and multiple regression analysis. Data collection took place from October 2017 to December 2017. The factors affecting depression were stress (${\beta}=0.246$, p=.000), self-efficacy(${\beta}=-.170$, p=.000) and self-esteem(${\beta}=-.131$, p=.000). In order to prevent depression in nursing college students, it is necessary to investigate the cause of depression and the degree of depression, and to reduce the depression and find ways to counteract emotional health problems.
