  • In this paper proposes a multi-carrier MFSK-DPSK/DS-CDMA combined modulation techniques in Nakagami fading environment. Also, multi-carrier DS-CDMA combined system is a promising technique for mobile communications systems, since it has a strong immunity to multipath fading and increasing bandwidth efficiency. The modulations under consideration are noncoherent M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK)and an MFSK based joint frequency phase modulation utilizing differential phase shift keying (DPSK). With the result, performance improvement of power efficiency and bandwidth efficiency combined system in multi-carrier MFSK-DPSK/DS-CDMA are better then conventional communication system.

  • In a CDMA system, the capacity is variable and mainly depends on multiple access interference. The multiple access interference has a deep relationship with transmitted or received power. The capacity of CDMA2000 1x system is considered to be limited by the forward link capacity. Different rate data traffic requires different transmitted power and rate controlling enables the system utilize radio resource more efficiently. A very simple rate control algorithm fer data calls in CDMA2000 1x system is proposed. In the proposed algorithm, by monitoring the total transmit power, we can simply adjust data rate to channel conditions and efficiently use radio resources. The proposed algorithm is easy to implement in power controlled CDMA systems.

  • MC-DS-CDMA is technique where a single data symbol is transmitted at multiple subcarriers which are orthogonal to each other. With this technique, frequency diversity can be achieved. The performance of PSAM MC-DS-CDMA system with the application of STBC antenna diversity is analyzed. The BER performance of this system over multipath fading environment is evaluated, considering the channel estimation ernr, carrier frequency offset, and the nonlinear high power amplifier.

  • We analyze the capacity of the imperfect power controlled DS/CDMA system with the Nakagami faded AMPS interferers by means of the analytical approach. Unlike the theoretical aassumption, the power control of the DS/CDMA system is not perfect. Therefore in this analysis we consider various parameters which cause the capacityreduction of the DS/CDMA system, the imperfect power control, the Nakagami fading index, he processing gain, and the number of AMPS interferers. The analytical results are compared with the Prasad's results which are considered only the imperfect power control of the DS/CDMA system. It is shown that the DS/CDMA capacity is decreased according to the increase of the deviation of the imperfect power control, to icrease the number pf the analog interfering users, and to decrease the processing gain.

  • The MC-CDMA(Multi-Code CDMA) systems for handling various data transmission rate which is demanded in the IMT-2000 systems are effective transmission technology, which can provide the higher data service than the conventional IS-95 CDMA systems because a user takes advantage of a number of channels. The receiver of MC-CDMA systems to be provided these data service have to be structured of demodulating simultaneously a number of traffic channels. This paper is designed the merged rake receiver demodulating simultaneously a number of traffic channels in the MC-CDMA systems. The merged rake receiver is to reduce the complexity of receiver resulting a number of channels.

  • This paper presents the AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system using the binary CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) radio technology. The binary CDMA is the new radio technology in domestic research. Main implementation topics includes the binary CDMA remote meter reading system, the wireless piconet configuration for the wireless automatic meter reading, and the transmission scheduling for sending and receiving data. Also, the wireless packet data encryption is very important topics for the wireless automatic meter reading. The proposed AMR system is implemented as a pilot project in Jeju and Gangwon. It can be seen that the wireless remote reading using the binary CDMA wireless technology can be applied to the AMR system.

  • 직접 확산 부호 분할 다원 접속 (Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access : DS-CDMA) 시스템과 시분할 다원 접속 (Time Division Multiple Access : TDMA) 시스템을 동일 주파수 대역에서 중첩되어 전송할 때 DS-CDMA 신호에서의 TDMA 신호의 협대역 간섭이 문제된다. 본 논문에서는 DS-CDMA 신호의 협대역 간섭(narrowband interference : NI)를 제거하는 방법으로서 노치필터를 이용해서 협대역 간섭파 제거법을 제안하고, 간섭제거기(CCI canceller)를 이용해서 다중접속간섭을 제거하여 DS-CDMA 신호의 성능을 개선한다. 본 논문은 잡음, 다중접속 간섭 및 협대역 간섭환경에서 DS-CDMA 신호와 TDMA 신호의 주파수 공용 시스템에 적용할 때의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) field engineering system is designed and implemented for managing cellular telecommunication base stations. For high quality of CDMA service, optimized cell planning is crucial. For such cell planning, base stations must be managed based on analysis of CDMA field dta. The proposed system consists of two modules: a measurement module and au analysis of CDMA field dta. eh proposed system consists of tow modules; a measurement module and an analysis module. The measurement module collects various CDMA field dta and displays them on a vector map in a real-time manner. The analysis module associates measured data with various related information, e.g. base station information, and process them statistically. The proposed system can drastically reduce base station management cost.

  • A CDMA-PON system is proposed to be used for the optical access network which is becoming indispensable to keep up with the subscriber\`s uprising data traffic. CDMA technique is efficiently used not just to deliver multiple channels to each remote unit, but also to suppress the optical beat noise. In this study, multiple beat noises environments was analysed, modulation schemes for both forward and reverse links were suggested and a simulation and basic experiment for multiple channels was performed successfully.

In this paper we researched on the development methods and design of a wireless VoIP system based on the Binary-CDMA technology that makes it freely installed in any place without phone cables and laying works.
