고준위폐기물 처분용기와 벤토나이트 버퍼로 이루어진 복합구조물에 대한 비선형 구조해석: 대칭 암반 전단력 (A Nonlinear Structural Analysis for a Composite Structure Composed of Spent Nuclear Fuel Disposal Canister and Bentonite Buffer: Symmetric Rock Movement)

  • 본 논문에서는 가압경수로(PWR) 고준위폐기물을 깊은 지하 500m에 처분 시 사용되는 처분용기 및 이를 보호하기 위하여 50㎝ 두께로 처분용기 주위를 감싸고 있는 벤토나이트 버퍼의 복합구조물에 지진 등의 지각 변동에 의하여 갑작스럽게 10㎝의 수평한 암반 전단력이 대칭적으로 가해졌을 때, 처분용기의 안전성(붕괴)을 예측하기 위하여 「처분용기+벤토나이트 버퍼」 복합 구조물에 대한 비선형 구조해석을 수행하였다. 복합구조물을 구성하고 있는 물질들은 탄소성체로 가정하였으며, 대변형 발생 시 항복을 예측하는 항복조건식으로는 처분용기를 구성하고 있는 금속물질(구리, 주철)에 대하여 von-Mises 항복조건식을, 벤토나이트 버퍼물질에 대하여는 Drocker-Prager 항복조건식을 적용하였다. 해석 결과들을 분석하면 비록 10㎝의 수평한 대칭 암반 전단력에 대하여 벤토나이트 버퍼에는 항복점을 훨씬 상회하는 대변형이 발생하였지만, 내부의 처분용기를 구성하고있는 주철 및 구리에는 여전히 매우 작은 탄성변형 및 항복응력보다 작은 응력이 발생하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 갑작스런 10㎝의 수평한 암반 전단력에 대하여 50㎝ 두께의 벤토나이트 버퍼는 안전하게 내부의 처분용기를 보호하고 있음을 알 수가 있다. 해석결과는 또한 벤토나이트 버퍼의 전단변형에 의하여 처분용기에 휨변형이 발생함을 보여주고 있다.

양산대학생들의 음주행동에 관한 조사연구(I) (A Study of Drinking Behavior among Students at Yangsan College)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the drinking patterns and behaviors of Yangsan College students. Data were collected by a self-administered survey from the subjects, of which male students were 336 and female 165. The results of this study were as follows: 1. With regard to attitude toward drinking, 93.1% of the male subjects and 84.3% female subjects reported to have favor for drinking while only 9.3% of the subjects against drinking. 2. Those who reported to have at least a drink everyday were 13.3% of the subjects. For drinking frequency subjects who reported once in two or three day were most popular(21.9%). The frequency of drinking alcohol was associated positively with amount of discretionary money the students have. 3. For amount of drinking, 42.5% of subjects responded that they were able to drink soju at least one bottle per occasion. Data showed a high positive correlation between drinking frequency and financial costs they spent to drink. 4. The reasons subjects gave to drink included social gatherings after school or student activities (40.1%), change of mood(16.5%), and personal cerebration(16.5%). 5. The most popular place for the subject to go for a drink was neighborhood pubs(43.5%), followed by bar or pubs at downtown(28.3%) and nearby campus(12.2%).

Heterotrophic Bacterial Growth on Hoses in a Neonatal Water Distribution System

  • After preliminary tests indicated an increased number of heterotrophic bacteria, we investigated possible sources of contamination in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) water distribution system. Scanning electron microscopic examination of flexible metallic hoses associated with the system revealed the presence of a biofilm; partial 16S rDNA sequencing revealed that the biofilm contained Blastomonas natatoria. Purgation of the water system three times a day, reinforced faucet cleaning, decreasing the cold water temperature to $12^{\circ}C$, and six repeated chlorinations at concentrations as high as 2 mg/l were not sufficient to eradicate the bacterial contamination. Replacing all of the rubber-interior flexible metallic hoses with teflon-lined hoses, followed by heating the water to $70^{\circ}C$, successfully controlled the bacteria.

대전 지역 외식.급식 업체의 푸드뱅크 인지도 및 이용 실태 (The perception and attitudes to the foodbank program of food service and manufacturing industries in Daejeon area)

  • The food bank program is one of the social welfare programs that collects surplus food and grocery products from food service and manufacturing industries, and then distributes them to those in need. The objective of this study was to investigate the food donors' perception of the program and the current status of food donation, and make a few suggestions to improve the program. A total of 200 respondents from 84 restaurants, 40 buffet restaurants, 40 bakeries, and 36 contract food service management companies participated in this study. The average amount of surplus food was 5.39 kg/day, and its 51.4% was being done away with. One of the donation benefits that most respondents expected was public relations for themselves as a program participant. The respondents' main information sources about the program were newspapers, magazines, and TV. Needs assessments regarding the program information showed that the respondents needed information about formalities, process, and donation benefits. One of the major setbacks in improving the program was insufficient information on it.

  • 처리기와 디스크의 속도 차가 커지고 있어 I/O subsystem이 컴퓨터 시스템의 성능향상에 병목 현상을 일으키게 된다. 이러한 처리기와 디스크와의 속도 차를 극복하기 위한 한 방법으로 캐쉬가 사용되고 있다. 캐쉬를 사용하면 디스크 블록에 대한 접근 횟수를 줄일 수 있어 전체 시스템의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 버퍼 캐쉬와 디스크 캐쉬를 가지는 시스템에서 서로 독립적으로 캐쉬가 관리되어 다수의 디스크 블록이 중복되게 유지되는 문제를 해결하기 위하여 디스크 블록의 중복을 최소화함으로 시스템의 성능을 개선하는 캐쉬 관리 기법을 제안하였다 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 기법을 적용하였을 경우 디스크 블록에 대한 평균 접근 지연시간이 감소됨을 확인하였다.

호텔 및 레스토랑 조리사들의 카빙 데코레이션에 대한 중요도 및 필요성 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Perception of Importance and Necessity to Carving Decoration in Hotel and Restaurant Cooks)

  • This study examines carving decoration which makes visual beauty and luxury mood upon serving foods to customers in the food service industry. 413 cooks working for hotels and luxury restaurants were investigated for how they need carving decoration. First, general importance upon serving foods to customers and upon carving decoration was examined; and it was considered if such importance shows statistically meaningful difference by cooks' general characteristics(e.g., gender, academic career, age, work experience). Also, this study explores the necessity of carving decoration in their situation. As a result, cooks regard carving decoration as very important, and its necessity was as high as cooking experience. In addition, necessity was high in buffet, Japanese foods and Chinese foods. A cook can provide visual pleasure to customers and heighten the artistry of foods with carving and decorating skills, so opening a relative course of study seems to be required in cooking-related fields and institutes in order to foster manpower with learned carving and decorating skills.

시간일관성을 이용한 그림자 텍스처 생성방법 (Shadow Texture Generation Using Temporal Coherence)

  • 그림자는 화상의 사실성을 높이며 물체들 사이의 공간적 관계를 유추할 수 있도록 해준다. 기존의 그림자 텍스처 생성 방법에서는 한 물체의 텍스처를 생성하기 위해서 다른 모든 물체들을 렌더링 해야만 하므로 Ν개의 물체가 있을 때 모든 물체들의 그림자 텍스처를 만들기 위해서는 Ο(Ν$^2$)의 시간이 필요했다. 이 논문에서는 깊이버퍼를 그림자 텍스처 생성에 사용하여 각 물체들에 대해서 상수 시간에 그림자 텍스처를 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 시간 일관성을 이용해서 속도를 더욱 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 정적인 물체의 깊이 값은 시간이 지나도 변화가 없다. 이 값들을 재사용하여 정적인 물체들은 되도록 그리지 않고 동적인 물체들만 렌더링 함으로써 깊이버퍼와 그림자 텍스처를 효율적으로 생성할 수 있다. 이 방법의 비용은 움직이는 물체의 개수에만 비례한다.

한·중·일 크루즈 선박 실내디자인 특성 및 만족도 연구 - 코스타 빅토리아호의 실내공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Characteristics and Satisfaction on the Interior Design of Asian Cruise Ship - Focused on the interior space of Costa Victoria -)

  • This study aims at exploring the characteristics of interior design of the Cruise line running Korea, Japan and China, and the satisfaction level of the Korean passengers for the interior design. Literature review and the physical traces of the cruise ship interior including 4 types of cabins and public spaces such as main hall, restaurants, outdoor swimming pool, jogging track, theater, meeting room, duty-free shop were performed. Also, the questionnaire to the passengers were used to understand their preferences and satisfaction level for each space. The results show that the passengers are very satisfied with the color and atmosphere of the cabin, while they complain the inconvenience of the bathroom size. Also in the public space, they prefer western classic style and modern style rather than Asian or Korean style. This means that they want the exotic feeling coming out of home. Also they prefer buffet restaurant, duty-free shop, theater, observation platform compared to other public spaces. However, the problem is that there are no place for the Korean family members with young children except for the outdoor pool. The interior and the program should be redesigned for the public spacs such as cinema room, family karaoke and internet-free room for Korean passengers.

외식업체에서 제공되는 김치류와 채소절임류의 삭카린나트륨 함량에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Contents of Sodium Saccharin in Kimchi and Salted Vegetables Served by Restaurants)

  • This study was done to investigate the content of sodium saccharin in Kimchi and salted vegetables served by restaurants. 99 samples were collected from restaurants which were located mainly in the Seoul metro area. Sodium saccharin was analyzed by HPLC. The types of restaurants were privately owned(68.7%) and franchised(31.3%). The composition ratio of sodium saccharin in Kimchi & salted vegetables at Korean, Chinese, Japanese, fast food, family, flour based food, and buffet restaurants was 60%, 14%, 2%, 7%, 13%, 4%, respectively. The composition ratio of sodium saccharin in kaktugi,, danmooji, kimchi, moosangchai, jangajji, mool kimchi, pickle, jjasai, oijii was 19.2%, 16.2%, 16.2%, 14.1%, 12.1%, 9.1%, 5.1%, 4.0%, 4.0% respectively. The mean of sodium saccharin detection rate of the 99 samples was 30.30%.

이온빔으로 질화처리된 사파이어기판위에 성장한 ZnO박막의 특성 (Properties of ZnO thin film grown on $Al_2O_3$ substrate pretremented by nitrogen ion beam)

  • In this study, zinc oxide(ZnO) having large misfit(18.2%) with sapphire was tried to be grown on very thin nitride buffer layers. For the creation of various kinds of nitride buffer layer, sapphire surface was modified by an irradiation of nitrogen ion beam with low energy generated from stationary plasma thruster(SPT) at room temperature. After the irradiation of ion beam, Al-N and Al-O-N bonding was identified to be formed as nitride buffet layers. Surface morphology was measured by AFM and then ZnO growth was followed by pulsed laser deposition(PLD). Their properties are analyzed by XRD, AFM, TEM, and PL. We observed that surface morphology was improved and deep level emission related to defects was almost vanished in PL spectra from the ZnO grown on nitride buffer layer.
