Cosmetology Major The impact of college student satisfaction on the cosmetology profession (헤어미용 전공 대학생의 전공만족도가 미용전문직관에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the relationship between the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction and the professionals by analyzing the effect of the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction on the beauty professional hall. Research Results It was found that there is a correlation (p <0.001) between the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department and the beauty professionals (p <0.001), and the satisfaction of the department is "specialty" t = 4.625 (p =). .000),'Occupational recognition' t = 3.152 (p = .002), major value is'specialty' t = 2.330 (p = .021),'professional activity' t = 2.438 (p = .015), 'Occupation recognition' t = 4.843 (p = .000), university student activity adaptation is a subordinate factor of the cosmetology profession, "professional activity" t = 2.746 (p = .006), "occupation recognition" t = 4.303 ( Appearing as p = .000), it was found that the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department has a significant effect on beauty professionals. For cosmetology college students, major satisfaction not only leads to satisfaction with the university and department, but also to self-satisfaction and cosmetology job confidence, allowing them to adapt to social life with a positive impact, and cosmetologists are hair With the values and attitude toward the beauty profession, you will be able to become a professional officer when you are a university student majoring in cosmetology. Through the research results, the formation of a positive professional hall for college students majoring in hair beauty and the satisfaction of the major will be enhanced, and the self-development of students, as well as professors and educational relations, will be established so that beauty professionals can be established through correct theory and practical education. Education and continued guidance on the professional ethics and values of the person is considered necessary.

A Study of Student Satisfaction from Beauty Art-Related Departments on Educational Assessments (미용관련학과 학생들의 교육과정 주요요인과 교육만족도)

  • This study is aimed to improve future-oriented curriculum by investigating the satisfaction of students from beauty art-related departments on their curriculum and major courses and proposing their basic direction and improvement plan. For this, a survey was conducted against students from beauty art-related departments in Busan (5 junior colleges and 1 four-year university). The following results were obtained: First, according to a correlation analysis on major questionnaire items on the curriculum in beauty art-related departments, statistical significance was observed in 'curriculum development', 'facility and administrative & financial supports', 'instructor/teacher activities', 'educational evaluation activities', 'academia-industry cooperation activities' and 'output evaluation'. In terms of educational satisfaction, statistical significance was observed in all positive relations. Second, according to regression analysis on the evaluation of curriculum output factors in beauty art-related departments, output factor levels were high as 'academia-industry cooperation activities', 'age', 'teacher/instructor activities', curriculum requirement analysis' and 'curriculum development' were high. In overall, relatively good results (69.0%) were observed. A further study needs to be performed for improvement of satisfaction of students majoring in beauty art on their curriculum in educating students from beauty art-related departments by applying their educational evaluation to optimum standards.

  • This study is hair salon satisfaction and self-efficacy in major college students preparing course is to identify the factors that affect the action. The subjects of the study were 173 male and female college students attending the College of Hair and Beauty in G region from March 10 to 25, 2021, and 150 of them were finally SPSS.It used the WIN 22.0 program. First, it has been verified that the satisfaction of hair and beauty college students' majors directly affects career preparation behavior. Second, the hair salon for preparatory actions in the course of major college student satisfaction and self-efficacy turned out to be a very important influence. Third, action represents a direct impact on career preparation is college student's hair salon self-efficacy and research to do significant impact. Based on the results of this study, students with high satisfaction with their majors suggest that they are preparing for a systematic professional life for career preparation when they are self-efficacy in college.

Analysis of the Composition Concept of Education Service Quality of Beauty Major University (뷰티전공 대학의 교육서비스품질 구성개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of composition of educational service quality through two integrated research methods of open questionnaires and focus group interviews for college students majoring in beauty. Participants in the study majored in beauty at 2-year and 4-year universities nationwide. The enrolled students were set as a population, and 250 people were adopted as a random sampling method and used for the survey. The series of results are as follows. First, as a result of inductive content analysis of open questionnaires, the educational service quality of beauty majors was derived into five areas: major knowledge, educational quality, professor-student intimacy, student needs reflection, usability, curriculum composition, environmental efficiency, educational equipment, and reputation. Second, as a result of the focus group interview, inductive content analysis was more reasonably pointed out and derived in depth. As a result of this study, it is believed that it can be used as basic data for the development of measurement tools for educational service quality of beauty majors.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore how the college students of the beauty department changed their perspective about jobs, career development, and self-reflection in the process of job shadowing. We selected 8 students who were enrolled in the beauty department of a college located in the capital area and conducted individual in-depth interviews with them. According to the result of the study, First, participants have learned attitude, knowledge, competence, and an important matter necessary to achieve a excellent performance in the beauty job. In particular, they figured out that a core competency for a successful beauty job is to share a social relationship with the clients. Second, they recognized that doing a beauty job is very tough and then set a criteria to make a decision of their future job. Doing a Job shadowing made them being change in the area of job and their job perspective. Finally, they looked themselves back how they are satisfying with developing their career at the beauty department. This study is significantly meaningful in that it contextually showed how the college students are developing their job careers through an indirect job experience from a constructive point of view. Moreover, this study is different from the existing studies focusing on student's direct work experiences such as the existing internship programs, which focused on exploring the student's indirect work experience and the process of their vicarious learning. The result of the current study has a practical implication in terms of providing a basic perspective for career education for students of colleges.

Effect of Career Decision Making Types on Career Preparation Behavior and Major Satisfaction of Beauty Major College Students (뷰티전공 대학생들의 진로 의사결정유형이 진로준비행동 및 전공만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify career decision-making types of college students majoring in beauty, and to improve career preparation behaviors by analyzing their effects on career preparation behaviors and major satisfaction. It was conducted from November 1 to 30, 2021, and a total of 485 questionnaires were used as analysis data. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed as research methods. As a result of the study, first, the type of career decision-making showed a positive (+) correlation between career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, indicating that it was statistically significant. Second, rational career decision-making style was correlated with dependence and intuitive style. As the career preparation behavior, the career preparation behavior of time effort, ability activity, and information collection, and the satisfaction of the major showed a statistically significant positive (+) correlation in class satisfaction and subject satisfaction. Third, among career decision-making types, rational and dependent types were found to have a statistically significant effect on ability activity, which is a sub-factor of career preparation behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factor of fashion behavior and to identify fashion behavior differences according to demorgraphic/physical characteristics and parents' background of male college student in Dalian, China. The data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire from 250 male college students living in Dalian, China in June 2007. Data analysis method were used to Crombach's a, reliabilty, factor analysis, frequency analysis, ANOVA, and Sheffe's test for the post hoctest. The results of this study were as follows: Fashion behavior factors were analyzed into 6 factors such as fashion satisfaction oriented, high price oriented, fashion leader oriented, practical fashion oriented, others defendence oriented. There were significant difference in demographic variables such as age, major and physical variables such as height, weight, clothing size and parents' background such as education, job, and income.

A Comparative Study of Characteristics of the Beauty Major Students (미용대학생들의 성격특성 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the PAI profile of the beauty major students. They were used through the PAI inspection result of 298 university students located in the chungcheong province in 2019. The results are summerized as follows; First, when comparing the average scale of college students majoring in beauty with those of college students majoring in general, college students majoring in beauty displayed a higher profile type in clinical scale than those of university students in general, with significant differences in SOM and ALC. Second, SOM, PAR, AGG, SUI that were significant when comparing beauty majors and general majors to navigate the PAI scale that significantly predicts beauty majors. As a result of conducting stepwise regression analysis on the four factors as a search factor, the scale of SOM is extracted, and it becomes a diversion that can predict college students in the beauty major. Therefore, beauty majors are more obsessed with physical problems than the ordinary students, and have an impulse-oriented behavior. These results will be used as materials for selecting, managing, educating or consulting a student majoring in beauty and will provide many implications for career choices after graduation.

  • The purpose of this study was to design a training program for utilization of 3D special makeup mask program. This study was conducted with a 3D computer graphics software program, for special makeup mask using a variety of creative educational models and case study with comparative analysis. The makeup program applied to the majors and liberal arts classes for program design. Inthis study, the selected major courses included ' stage make up ', make up application', and illustrations and color '. Students were required to take a class targeted to questionnaire completion and analysis. The research method included literature search, and Internet navigation, of experimental research. The research targeted select college students attending a 4-year university located in Dae-jeon, Korea. ETRI's "3D mask special makeup simulation program" was used in support. A survey of the study conducted from September 1, 2013, to August 30, 2014, showed a total of 94 additional statistical analyses. First, grade 3 44.6% was attained by 91.7% of the first year student majoring in liberal arts classes, Second, students' in the 3D special dress up mask program Interestingly, attained high recognition in its mastering, usability, and creativity. Furthermore, the major student satisfaction was higher for the '3D special makeup mask program. Third, students '3D special dress up was one of the biggest advantages of the program', the mask ' that models 3D ' faces. In addition, the student's delicate dress called for critical technology skills. It is thought to be suitable for practical training and improving the efficiency and performance if applied to universities and beauty schools, such as the regular high school curriculum through research.

A Study on the ProBono Activation Plan for Sustainable Beauty (지속가능한 미용전공 프로보노 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the beauty Probono activities and to find ways to revitalize the related activities. In this study, the research models and hypotheses were set up, and the results of the main analysis were obtained by conducting the questionnaire analysis of 701 beauty majors in the metropolitan area. First, it was found that the participation of Beauty Probono is to utilize beauty technology and knowledge, mainly through volunteer club activities. Second, Satisfaction with beauty Probono activities was highly correlated with recruitment of service organization. The reliability of the service organization tended to be higher as the level of institutional operation and satisfaction through participation were higher. Third, satisfaction with beauty Probono activities was high, and the more trust in organization, the higher the sustainability of activities. The beauty Probono activation plan suggested the development of various public relations channels, strengthened education for volunteers, and transparent management of the volunteer organization. However, this research has limitations in the limitation of research subject, and it is expected that the study of various aspects of beauty student major students will be continued in the future.
