건축설계 단계에서 설계품질 향상을 위한 개방형 BIM기반 품질관리 방안 (Open BIM-Based Quality Control for Enhancing the Design Quality in the Architectural Design Phase)

  • 현재 BIM을 도입한 주요 국가들은 BIM 발주 또는 납품 전 단계에서 설계사가 설계과정 중 기본적인 품질 확보가 가능하도록 필요한 지침을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 국내 건설산업의 경우, BIM의 도입 및 적용은 확산되고 있으나, BIM 발주 시 설계품질을 고려한 지침은 제공되지 않고 있다. 이로 인해 설계사는 자의적 해석에 의존적일 수밖에 없으며, 발주자는 납품받은 BIM 데이터의 품질을 신뢰하기 힘든 상황이다. 또한, BIM 소프트웨어의 내부 오류는 파악할 수 없는 관계로 자체 포맷에 의한 품질검토는 BIM 데이터의 품질을 확보하기 어렵다. 따라서 BIM 데이터의 품질을 높이기 위해서는 개방형 BIM(IFC)을 활용한 객체모델링과 객체별 속성 정의 등을 포함하는 지침을 개발할 필요가 있다. 이는 BIM 데이터의 기본 품질을 보증하고, 품질검토를 통하여 좀 더 나은 품질을 확보하는데 활용될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 설계품질 향상을 위한 개방형 BIM기반의 품질관리 방안으로 해외 주요 국가들의 선진사례와 품질검토 소프트웨어를 조사 분석하여 기본적인 품질관리가 가능한 요구조건을 제시하였고, 기존 BIM 사례에 적용하여 요구조건의 유용성을 검토하였다.

BIM과 GIS간 공간정보 상호운용성 개발 전략에 관한 연구 (A study related to interoperability development strategy between BIM and GIS)

  • The purpose of the present study is to suggest the strategy for interoperability between BIM and GIS. For this, we analyzed the interoperability issue including the neutral information model such as CityGML, LandXML, IFC and identified the structure differences as the viewpoint of use-case, object, geometry, property by using UML(Unified Modeling Langauge) and reverse engineering. To solve the interoperability problem between BIM and GIS model which is the neutral GIS format, We proposed the consideration including converter, information mapping filter based on ontology dictionary, automation by using API.

  • Various types of building information should be linked to 3D model objects for their effective use by stakeholders. Because Building Information Modeling (BIM) based on 3D is used by different stakeholders, the created BIM need standard guidelines for each purpose, as, for example, for quantity take-off. Thus, this study was conducted to propose guidelines for BIM modeling for quantity take-off in the framework, especially, in the concrete and form. The proposed guidelines adopted each element of the BIM model based on an analysis of the problem of the general BIM model. Moreover, the usability and accuracy of the reinforced structure modeling guidelines were verified by comparing the quantity of the commercial estimation software and the modeling quantity using the proposed modeling guidelines.

  • The main purpose of this research is to propose standardization of construction components design with BIM and to develop WLCM Framework and Application System for supply chain management on interaction of stakeholders based on proposed standard component. To accomplish main purpose of this research, we planned three years period, in first year, we will develop model for building lifecycle based on BIM, and this model can give the chance of collaboration with stakeholders of building project. In second year, we will develop WLCM system with model, and to improve performance of application model/system. This study can contribute on reduction of whole lifecycle cost, with preventing omission of factors on cost reduction possibility, develop concurrent engineering framework for construction stakeholders with proposed BIM.

  • A vector-photo is a photography which contain image and 5W1H information. Objects pictured and an image in a vector-photo can be linked by 5W1H information in the vector-photo. This study discuss a positioning module to link between vector-photos and 3D BIM model. The module developed in this study can be utilized in a system that can link the vector-photos with objects in BIM model.

사례분석을 활용한 시공단계 BIM 인력 투입 성과 분석 (Performance Analysis of BIM Labor using Case Analysis)

  • BIM is effective to improve the labor productivity of construction participants. From this point of view, it is important to analyze the outcome related with BIM Labor which covers most of the BIM investment costs. This research focuses on BIM RFI which is one of the major task of the BIM labor and analyze the outcomes. In addition, this research was quantitatively analyzed by the standby time and related cost caused by BIM labor, which affect the results of the project participants. To this end, analytical standby queue model was utilized to analyze the labor focusing on micros TASK. 11 projects were selected to analyze the results of BIM labor and RFI that the project participants requested to the BIM labor was collected. Through this, it collected variables for analyzing results, and Finally, we pulled out 4 projects for analysis. In this study, the basic results analysis of RFI processing of the BIM labor, the probabilistic analysis of BIM labor service status, and the economic analysis of BIM labor optimal inputs were performed by using the research model presented. The results of this study can be utilized to formulate the optimal strategy for BIM labor inputs(e.g. number of employees, level, time point, etc.) of the construction phase. Moreover, it can contribute to ensuring the credibility of the BIM ROI results by presenting the cost of BIM services in BIM ROI analysis and the standby cost of project participants.

  • 국내 주요 공공발주기관의 BIM 도입 환경 수준이 높아짐에 따라 많은 설계 및 시공사에서는 BIM 수행 과정에서의 실질적인 업무 생산성 향상 방안에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대표적인 BIM 설계 자동화 방안으로 BIM기반 설계 과정에서 반복적으로 수행되는 BIM 라이브러리 배치작업을 자동화하는 방안을 제시하였다. 특히 직선, 곡선, 수직 평면과 곡면 등 BIM 라이브러리의 배치 대상면을 구분하고, 각각에 대해 두 객체의 중심 거리와 선형 길이에 따른 배치간격, 배치방향 등을 고려하여 BIM 라이브러리 자동 배치 모형을 Dynamo로 구현하였다. 사례적용을 통해 다양한 배치 환경 및 조건에 따라 배치가 가능하고, 작업시간도 단축할 수 있는 것으로 확인되어 지형 특성에 맞게 배치해야 하는 각종 조형물이나 구조물들의 정확한 배치가 가능할 뿐만 아니라 배치 자동화를 통해 업무 생산성도 획기적으로 향상될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반의 모바일 BIM 애플리케이션 적용성 분석 (Analysis of Applying the Mobile BIM Application based on Cloud Computing)

  • As a futuristic construction model, building information model (BIM) based project management system (PMIS) and mobile BIM simulator apps have been showing visible sign. However, researches on the BIM based 3D simulator using mobile device are hard to find result from limitation of mobile device (slow speed at huge 3D file, display size, and etc.) and undefined standard of business processes. Therefore, this research aims at studying application of mobile BIM apps based on cloud computing. Total 8 BIM cloud apps were selected and analyzed in the 5 application feasibility characteristics (speed, view, inquiry, markup, and usability). This research would be essential phase to construct BIM based mobile project management system using cloud computing in the future.

해상풍력 자켓 기초의 BIM 라이브러리 구축 및 활용 (Development and Application of BIM Library for Offshore Wind Jacket Foundation)

  • In order to overcome the limitations of th 2D method regardless of the client's request, the application of BIM was reviewed to create hight-quality products using 3D models and various BIM information for offshore wind jacket-type structures. First, we defined the input value through analysis of the target structure and wrote an algorithm(script library) and library to complete the BIM model. Design review using geometry information based on th BIM model, usage for visualization drawings and quantity calculation were reviewed. For the purpose of initial review, only libraries with a limited number of subjects limitations on the scope of research were used. However, in the futrue, various libraries will be developed and research will be conducted to expand the scope of subjects.

  • BIM technologies store, share and integrate the information produced in each sector of the construction industry. From this point on, it increases the efficiency of the work. Currently, quantity take-off and process schedule are derived separately based on BIM technology. When calculating the quantity by process, relevant information shall be collected, reinterpreted, and reevaluated as required by the practice. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated process and quantity management system through BIM collaboration and to build prototypes for steel structures. The main research is to build a construction BIM model for steel structures and a process BIM model through BIM collaboration. Furthermore, necessary information was selected and processed according to the user's needs for integrated management. Relevant integration outcomes are visualized graphically to maximize utilization. Through these studies, a system for integrated control of processes and supplies is provided, and the results are expected to contribute to the improvement of working efficiency and are easily and quickly reflected in design change and process change. In this study, we intended to enhance the usability of information by linking process schedules with quantity calculations based on BIM. Thus, the process for integrated control of the quantity of structural components by process unit and the BIM based schedule information was established. In addition, the efficiency of the information link of the integrated management system was considered for design changes and process schedule changes.
