This paper presents an efficient approach to the determination of the buckling loads of down-aisle, spliced, unbraced, pallet rack structures subjected to vertical and horizontal loads. A pallet rack structures is analysed by considering the stability equations of an equivalent free-sway column. The effects of semi-rigid beam-to-upright, splice-to-upright and base-plate-to-upright connections are fully incorporated into the analysis. Each section of upright between successive beam levels in the pallet rack is considered to be a single column element with two rotational degrees of freedom. A computer algebra package was used to determine modified stability equations for column elements containing splices. The influence of the position of splices in a pallet rack is clearly demonstrated.

In the present paper, we evaluate the analytic conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms and convolution products of unbounded function which is the product of the cylinder function and the function in a Banach algebra which is defined on an analogue o Wiener space and useful in the Feynman integration theories and quantum mechanics. We then investigate the inverse transforms of the function with their relationships and finally prove that th analytic conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms of the conditional convolution products for the functions, can be expressed in terms of the product of the conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms of each function.

In tropical geometry, the sum of two numbers is defined as the minimum, and the multiplication as the sum. We learned that dynamic programming in tropical algebraic geometry can be used to find the shortest path in graphs. We have also learned about the Bezout's Theorem, which is a theorem concerning the intersections of tropical plane curves, and the stable intersection principle.

A program is developed for generations the dynamic equations for robotic manipulators using the symbolic language muSIMP/MATH. The muSIMP/MATH is a LISP-based computer algebra package, devoted to the manipulation of algebraic expressions including number, variables, functions, and matrix. The muSIMP/MATH can operate on IBM-PC compatibles with MS-DOS. The program is developed, on the e formalism. This is program is applicable to the manipulators of any number of degrees of freedom, maximum six degree of freedom in this program. To control robotic manipulators by using dynamic equation is required a symbolic equations. The generated dynamic equation can be applied directly to the robotic manipulators, for the generated dynamic equation is a reduced form of symbolic expression.

The notions of (weak) hyper MV-deductive systems and (weak) implicative hyper MV-deductive systems are introduced, and several properties are investigated. Relations among hyper MV-deductive systems, weak hyper MV-deductive systems, implicative hyper MV-deductive systems and weak implicative hyper MV-deductive systems are discussed. A characterization of a hyper MV-deductive system is provided. A condition for a weak hyper MV-deductive system to be a weak implicative hyper MV-deductive system is given.

In this paper, we have characterizations of idempotent matrices over general Boolean algebras and chain semirings. As a consequence, we obtain that a fuzzy matrix $A=[a_{i,j}]$ is idempotent if and only if all $a_{i,j}$-patterns of A are idempotent matrices over the binary Boolean algebra $\mathbb{B}_1={0,1}$. Furthermore, it turns out that a binary Boolean matrix is idempotent if and only if it can be represented as a sum of line parts and rectangle parts of the matrix.

Given a faithful flow ${\alpha}$ on a $C^*$-algebra A, when A is ${\alpha}$-simple we will show that the closed subalgebra of A consisting of elements with non-negative Arveson spectra is maximal if and only if the crossed product of A by ${\alpha}$ is simple. We will also show how the general case can be reduced to the ${\alpha}$-simple case, which roughly says that any flow with the above maximality is an extension of a trivial flow by a flow of the above type in the ${\alpha}$-simple case. We also propose a condition of essential maximality for such closed subalgebras.

Let A be a normed space, ${\mathcal{B}}(A)$ the algebra of all bounded operators on A, and V a family of strongly upper semicontinuous functions from a Hausdorff completely regular space X into ${\mathcal{B}}(A)$. In this paper, we investigate some properties of the weighted spaces CV (X, A) of all A-valued continuous functions f on X such that the mapping $x{\mapsto}v(x)(f(x))$ is bounded on X, for every $v{\in}V$, endowed with the topology generated by the seminorms ${\parallel}f{\parallel}v={\sup}\{{\parallel}v(x)(f(x)){\parallel},\;x{\in}X\}$. Our main purpose is to characterize continuous, bounded, and locally equicontinuous weighted composition operators between such spaces.

This paper deals with space Beltrami system with three characteristic matrices in even dimensions, which can be regarded as a generalization of space Beltrami system with one and two characteristic matrices. It is transformed into a nonhomogeneous $p$-harmonic equation $d^*A(x,df^I)=d^*B(x,Df)$ by using the technique of out differential forms and exterior algebra of matrices. In the process, we only use the uniformly elliptic condition with respect to the characteristic matrices. The Lipschitz type condition, the monotonicity condition and the homogeneous condition of the operator A and the controlled growth condition of the operator B are derived.

In this paper, some properties for a PI-ring satisfying the descending chain condition on essential left ideals are studied: Let R be a ring with a polynomial identity satisfying the descending chain condition on essential ideals. Then all minimal prime ideals in R are maximal ideals. Moreover, if R has only finitely many minimal prime ideals, then R is left and right Artinian. Consequently, if every primeideal of R is finitely generated as a left ideal, then R is left and right Artinian. A finitely generated PI-algebra over a commutative Noetherian ring satisfying the descending chain condition on essential left ideals is a finite module over its center.(omitted)
