A 5GHz-Band Low Noise Amplifier Using Depletion-type SOI MOSFET (공핍형 SOI MOSFET를 이용한 5GHz대역 저잡음증폭기)

  • A 5-GHz band Low Noise Amplifier(LNA) using SOI MOSFET is designed. To improve the noise performance, depletion-type SOI MOSFET is adopted, and it is designed by the two-stage topology consisting of common-source and common-gate stages for low-voltage operation. The fabricated LNA achieved an S11 of less than -10dB, voltage gain of 21dB with a power consumption of 8.3mW at 5.5GHz, and a noise figure of 1.7dB indicated that the depletion-type LNA improved the noise figure by 0.3dB compared with conventional type. These results show the feasibility of a CMOS LNA employing depletion-type SOI MOSFET for low-noise application.

Inhibitory Effect of Soyosangagamhwajae on Melanin Synthesis and its Action Mechanism in B16F10 Mouse Melanoma Cell (소요산가감화제(逍遙散加減化製)의 멜라닌 생성 억제와 작용기전에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to determine the inhibitory effect of Soyosangagamhwajae(SYG) on melanin synthesis in B16F10 mouse melanoma cell. Methods: The Inhibitory effects of Soyosangagamhwajae(SYG) on melanin synthesis were determined by in-vitro assay. To elucidate inhibitory effects of SYG on melanin synthesis, we determined the melanin release in B16F10 cell. And to investigate the action mechanism, we assessed the gene expression of tyrosinase, TRP-1, TRP-2. PKA, $PKC{\beta}$ in B16F10 cell. Results: 1. SYG significantly inhibited melanin-release in B16F10 cell. 2. SYG significantly inhibited mushroom tyrosinase activity in vitro. 3. SYG significantly suppressed the expression of tyrosinase in B16F10 cell. 4. SYG significantly suppressed the expression of TRP-1, TRP-2 in B16F10 cell. 5. SYG significantly suppressed the expression of PKA, $PKC{\beta}$ in B16F10 cell. Conclusion: From these results, it may be concluded that SYG has the antimelanogenetic effect.

The Effects of Diallyl Disulfide on Antimetastatic Potential of B16-F10 Murine Melanoma Cells (B16-F10 Murine Melanoma 세포의 암전이 억제에 미치는 Diallyl Disulfide의 효과)

  • Diallyl disulfide (DADS), an oil-soluble organosulfur compound in garlic has been reported to suppress tumor growth and to induce apoptosis in cancer. In the present study, we investigated the effects of DADS on pulmonary metastasis of B16-F10 murine melanoma cells. DADS (i.p. 40 mg/kg) significantly (p<0.05) reduced the number of pulmonary metastatic nodules (48%) in experimental pulmonary metastasis assay. We also found that DADS inhibited adhesion, invasion and migration of B16-F10 melanoma cells in a dose-dependent manner. To study the antimetastatic potential of DADS, we performed the effects of DADS on matrix metalloproteinase activity. DADS significantly inhibited the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2 activity in B16-F10 cells by gelatin zymography. These results suggest that DADS prevent metastasis in part through suppression of migration of B16-F10 melanoma cells by Inhibiting matrix metalloproteirase-2 responsible for degradation of extracellar matrix.

  • The out-of-plane bending, vibrational-rotational FT-IR spectra of dichloroborane molecule were analyzed. The band centers are 785.992, 785.723, 647.217, and 646.997 $cm^{-1}$ and centrifugal distortion constants are $2.2{\times}10^{-6},\;5.5{\times}10^{-6},\;0.2{\times}10^{-6}$, and $0.7{\times}10^{-6}cm^{-1}$ for $H^{11}B^{35}Cl_2$, $H^{11}B^{35}Cl^{37}Cl$, $D^{11}B^{35}Cl_2$, and $D^{11}B^{35}Cl^{37}Cl$, respectively. The theoretical spectrum of $D^{11}B^{36}Cl_2$ was plotted to conform the molecular constants and the rotational constants for the first excited vibrational state of this molecule were A' = 1.165932, B' = 0.106166, and C' = 0.097229 $cm^{-1}$. The calculated spectra were in good agreement with the observed spectra.

  • Syntheses of carbapenam skeletons were achieved from 1,3-propanediol through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. 3-(Tetrahydropyran-2-yloxy)-(10) and 3-(t-butyldimethylsilyloxy) propanal (13) were obtained from 1,3-propanediol. 3-Hydroxypropanals (10, 13, 14) were reacted with N-hydroxyglycine esters to give C-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N-alkoxycarbonylmethylnitrones (15a-15d). 1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of the nitrones with methyl acrylate or ethyl crotonate gave 3-(2-hydroxyethyl)isoxazolidines (16a-16b, 17a-17b, 18, 19a-19b). 3-(2-Hydroxyethyl)isoxazolidines (17a, 17c, 19a, 19b) were converted to 3-(2-iodoethyl)isoxazolidines (21a-21d) or 3-phenylthiocarbonylmethylisoxazolidines (25a-25d) which were cyclized to give 2-oxa-1-azabicyclo[3.3.0]octanedicarboxylates (22a-22d, 26a-26d). 2-Oxa-1-azabicyclo[3.3.0]octane-4,8-dicarboxylates (22c-22d, 26c-26d) were transformed to 6-(l-hydroxyethyl)carbapenam-3-carboxylates (30a-30b, 31a-31b).

  • The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of the quinoxaline 4-oxide 10 with 2-chloroacrylonitrile gave the 2,3-dihydro-lH-1,2-diazepino[3,4-blquinoxalines lla, b, respectively, which were converted into the 2,3,4,6-tetrahydro-lH-l,2-diazepino[3,4-b]quinoxaline 12. The reaction of compound lla with selenium dioxide in acetic acid/water resulted in ring transformation to give the 1,4-dihydro-4-oxopyridazino[3,4-blquinoxaline 13.

Performance Analysis of M-ary Impulse Communications over AWGN Channels (AWGN 채널에서 M진 임펄스 통신의 성능 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 제한적으로 사용이 승인된 UWB(초광대역: Ultra-Wideband) 통신을 AWGN 하에서 다중 접속을 고려하지 않은 단일 사용사일 경우로 가정시, M진 값이 변화함에 따른 에러율과 성능 개선 기법으로 BCH를 채용시의 에러율을 비교 분석하였다. 기존에 연구되어 오던 변조로 PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation)과 PPM(Pulse Position Modulation)방식을 비교하였으며 에러율 $10^{-6}$을 기준으로 M=2, 4일 경우 PAM이 PPM보다 약 E$_{b}$/N$_{o}$ =3~4[dB], M=8 이상의 경우 PPM이 약 E$_{b}$/N$_{o}$ =9[dB], M=16일 경우 약 E$_{b}$/N$_{o}$ =15[dB]정도 성능이 우수하였다. AWGN 채널 하에서 에러 정정 부호인 BCH(15,7)를 도입하였을 경우 에러율 $10^{-6}$을 기준으로 PAM방식은 약 E$_{b}$/N$_{o}$ 가 약 1[dB], PPM 방식은 M=2, 4일 경우 약 E$_{b}$/N$_{o}$ =1~1.5[dB]정도 개선되었다.
