  • The problem of phase change from liquid to solid in the inviscid plane-stagnation flow is theoretically investigated. The solution at the initial stage of freezing is obtained by expanding it in powers of time, and the final equilibrium state is determined from the steady-state governing equations. The transient solution is dependent on the three dimensionless parameters, but the equilibrium state is determined by one parameter of (temperature ratio/conductivity ratio). The effect of the fluid flow on the growth rate of the solid in the pure conduction problem can be clearly seen from the solution of the initial stage and the final equilibrium state. The characteristics of the transient heat transfer at the surface of the solid and the liquid side of the solid-liquid interface for all the dimensionless parameters are elucidated.

  • Two analytical solutions for oscillations in a rectangular harbour are presented. In this paper, the correct solution is obtained by use of matched asymptotic expansion method, which was first derived by Mei(1989). The other solution derived from eigenfunction expansion method is also presented, in which more accurate numerical integration is employed. In order to check the solutions, amplification factors inside the harbor are calculated and plotted by both analytical methods and numerical boundary integral equation method.

  • In our research, we have proposed a solid solution for aviation analysis which can ensure the asymptotic stability of coupled nonlinear plants, according to the theoretical solutions and demonstrated method. Because this solution employed the scheme of specific novel theorem of control, the controllers are artificially combined by the parallel distribution computation to have a feasible solution given the random coupled systems with aviation stability analysis. Therefore, we empathize and manually derive the results which shows the utilized lemma and criterion are believed effective and efficient for aircraft structural analysis of composite and nonlinear scenarios. To be fair, the experiment by numerical computation and calculations were explained the perfectness of the methodology we provided in the research.

  • The aim of this work is to investigate the global stability, periodic nature, oscillation and the boundedness of solutions of the difference equation $$x_{n+1}={\frac{Ax_{n-1}}{B+Cx_{n-2}{\iota}x_{n-2k}$$, n = 0, 1, 2,..., where A, B, C are nonnegative real numbers and $\iota$, k are nonnegative in tegers, $\iota{\leq}k$.

  • In this article we prove the existence of the solution to the mixed problem for Euler-Bernoulli beam equation with memory condition at the boundary and we study the asymptotic behavior of the corresponding solutions. We proved that the energy decay with the same rate of decay of the relaxation function, that is, the energy decays exponentially when the relaxation function decay exponentially and polynomially when the relaxation function decay polynomially.

  • The existence of periodic solutions for the planar Hamiltonian systems with positively homogeneous Hamiltonian is discussed. The asymptotic expansion of the Poincar$\acute{e}$ map is calculated up to higher order and some sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions are given in the case when the first order term of the Poincar$\acute{e}$ map is identically zero.

  • In order to check the validity of nonlinear normal modes of continuous, systems by means of the energy-based formulation, we consider a beam with a nonlinear boundary condition. The initial and boundary e c6nsl of a linear partial differential equation and a nonlinear boundary condition is reduced to a linear boundary value problem consisting of an 8th order ordinary differential equations and linear boundary conditions. After obtaining the asymptotic solution corresponding to each normal mode, we compare this with numerical results by the finite element method.

  • In this paper we introduce a new concept, a 'periodicizing' function for the linear differential equation with the periodic forcing function. Moreover, we construct this function, which is closely related with the solution of a difference equation and an indefinite sum. Using this function, we can obtain a representation of solutions from which we see immediately the asymptotic behavior of the solutions.

  • We study the existence of weak solution for the stationary Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m-Vlasov equations in a bounded domain. The proof follows by fixed point method. The asymptotic behavior for large light speed is analyzed as well. We justify the convergence towards the stationary Vlasov-Poisson model for stellar dynamics.

  • In this work we analyze a postprocessing scheme for improving the guaranteed error bound based on the equilibrated fluxes for the P1 conforming FEM. The improved error bound is shown to be asymptotically exact under suitable conditions on the triangulations and the regularity of the true solution. We also present some numerical results to illustrate the effect of the postprocessing scheme.
