  • Yuri Vasilyev - actor, director and drama teacher. Russian meritorious artist, winner of the stage "Medal of Friendship" awarded by Russian President Vladimir Putin; academician of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts in Russia, professor of the Russian National Academy of Performing Arts, and professor of the Bavarian Academy of Drama in Munich, Germany. The physiological sense stimulation method based on the improvement of voice, language and motor function of drama actors. On the basis of a systematic understanding of performing arts, Yuri Vasiliev created a unique training method of speech expression and skills. From the complicated art training, we find out the most critical skills for focused training, which we call basic skills training. Throughout the whole training process, Professor Yuri made a clear request for the actor's lines: "action! This is the basis of actors' creation. So action is the key! Action and voice are closely linked. Actor's voice is human voice, human life, human feeling, human experience and disaster. It is also the foundation of creation that actors acquire their own voice. What we are engaged in is pronunciation, breathing, tone and intonation, speed and rhythm, expressiveness, sincerity, stage voice and movement, gesture, all of which are used to train the voice of actors according to the standard of drama. In short, Professor Yuri's training course is not only the training of stage performance and skills, but also contains a rich view of drama and performance. I think, in addition to learning from the means and methods of training, it is more important for us to understand the starting point and training objectives of Professor Yuri's use of these exercises.

  • Metaverse is gaining worldwide interest, and related industries are developing rapidly. In the field of education, students' interest in metaverse is increasing, and education on metaverse-related technologies and services is required. However, since metaverse classes in universities mainly consist of theoretical education and domestic/overseas case analysis education, practical education that can apply metaverse technology to the real world is also necessary. In the cultural field, event contents such as entrance ceremonies and exhibitions are mainly produced for metaverse contents, and it is also necessary to study metaverse contents that can be sustained for a long time by people visiting regularly. In this study, educational contents that can link cultural participation in the real world with cultural participation in the metaverse were studied using the local cultural space as a medium to produce sustainable metaverse contents. The 'Metaverse Moonshin Art Museum commemorating the 100th anniversary of Moonshin's birth' program reinterpreted the real world of Changwon Moonshin Art Museum into a virtual world by collaborating with students on the Roblox. The 'Expanded Reality Moonshin Art Museum' program created an expanded Metaverse art museum that transcends time by augmenting the deceased Moonshin artist in the museum's exhibition space using HoloLens. For students studying culture-related majors, an educational program that combines metaverse education and practical training was conducted, and it is planned to be supplemented and used as a teaching plan.

  • HYBE Insight, opened in May 2021, is an exhibition space that visually displays and re-interprets the BTS Universe and its content. The space echoes the identity of BTS as an artist and the specificity of the cultural phenomenon they have generated. This study analyzes HYBE Insight's BTS exhibition by applying new museological theories and discourses. Based on a qualitative research methodology including literature review and observational method, the primary themes of the exhibition are follows: 1) a contextualized exhibition content presenting the identity of BTS and their music, 2) the role of the fandom Army's participation in (re) producing BTS content related to the characteristic of popular music museums, 3) the elements of convergence art and its contemporary implication, 4) and the illumination of cultural value in popular music museum management. As the pivotal theory of new museology suggests, investigating a specific exhibition based on each context it has created is significant. However, those studies, including exhibitions related to popular music/artists, were mostly developed in Western nations. In this respect, HYBE Insight's BTS exhibition provides considerable room to explore. In addition to the recent research on BTS, such as their convergent artistry, socio-cultural influence, the role of Army, and the characteristics of HYBE's content management, this article aims to contribute to the multifaceted research by scrutinizing the BTS exhibition content from the new museology perspective.

  • This paper discusses a way to differentiate contents and enhance the competitiveness of art spaces in rural regions through place assets, noting the growing number of rural art spaces and their great potential as cultural spaces in recent years. First, we surveyed existing research and resources to understand the current status and roles of rural art spaces in the context of theoretical discussions on place assets. Based on this, we classified place assets into physical, human, and symbolic elements. After that, we conducted two case studies that apply this classification. For the case studies on the Ami Art Museum and the Potato Flower Studio, we investigated the sites and conducted in-depth interviews with the directors following a qualitative research method. Our findings through the case studies show that Ami Art Museum and Potato Flower Studio remodeled closed school buildings, which are known as physical place assets in rural areas. However, there was a difference in utilizing other place asset elements, and this resulted in different types of differentiated contents. We found three types of rural art spaces from two case studies: inhabitant-friendly, artist-friendly, and tourist-friendly. Finally, in our research, we presented a method of utilizing place assets that differentiate rural art places along with a method for developing differentiated contents. To conclude, the significance of our study is that it attempted to find out a way to make rural art spaces sustainable, and sought cultural regeneration in rural areas through revitalization of rural art spaces.

In order to achieve the above purpose, a survey was conducted on two groups of the general public and exhibition participants. The contents of the survey include identifying satisfaction factors and problems with the Seoul Garden show, and establishing the direction of the Seoul Garden show. As for the factors of success, the number of writers was the highest, and the improvements were overall for each element of the Seoul Garden show, but mainly for industrial exhibitions, rest areas, and publicity. In addition, the Seoul Garden show should be held in the old park with the aim of spreading, popularizing, and living the garden culture, and many gardens should be created around the artist's garden. The Seoul Garden show is contributing to society in many ways, and there are some improvements, but considering the high willingness to revisit the Seoul Garden show, it can be said that the Seoul Garden show so far is valuable enough.

  • This proposes a direction to build and provide an exhibition space based on the metaverse platform so that artists can independently open their own exhibitions in an online environment. Although many artists are produced every year, offline exhibitions are becoming difficult due to not many art galleries, and offline exhibitions are becoming impossible due to Corona, which began at the end of 2019, and online exhibitions are emerging as an alternative. We analyze cases of existing online exhibition methods and visit online exhibition methods such as web, video, and virtual reality and metaverse environment then present a plan for individual exhibitions in consideration of the recent metaverse environment. The proposed metaverse-based personal exhibition method is structured so that artists can construct a space on the metaverse and place their works, and then viewers can freely take a look on it from a remote location. Based on the proposed exhibition direction, the representative metaverse platform was applied to confirm the characteristics and possibilities of exhibition space and composition of works and users' exhibition experience. In the face of the rise of online exhibitions, space can be constructed in the direction the artist pursues in online exhibitions as well as offline exhibitions, but also online exhibitions, and hopes that online exhibitions will become another genre of exhibitions rather than incidental after the end of Covid-19.

  • When writing historical dramas, there was an argument that restoring the language of the times was the responsibility of the playwright, but no full-scale research was done. There was no collaborative study between playwrights and Korean Language scholars. So far, many playwrights have considered it the responsibility of Korean Language scholars to discover and restore language. However, it is a medium that can easily meet the public like a play or movie, and it should have a great responsibility for creation. Language changes with time, so restoring the language of the time in plays and scenarios can lead to difficulties in communicating with modern audiences. However, the change of language according to the times means that it captures the social image and fashion of the time Therefore, language restoration in historical dream means that scenes and backgrounds can be described more realistically. Restore of language is not just necessary to improve the creative environment; it should be understood as the responsibility of the artist to meet the ability of the audience to understand the language of the times already learned. The playwright who writes the historical drama should not only learn the grammar of the background era, but also find out the lost pronunciation and the changed vocabulary so that he can use various dialogues.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial characteristics of the unit of garden and to classify and symbolize it, to provide the basis for analyzing the works based on the characteristics of the space and to provide the data that can become the logical foundation for garden design. The research method first analyzed the behavioral scene analysis and the grounded theory methodology as the theory about the space type. It controls the subjectivity of the researcher and derives the characteristics of the space for the garden image based on the experiential knowledge of the expert, It is a qualitative analysis method that aims to increase credibility. The actual case target was the author garden which was exhibited at the 2017 Seoul Garden Expo. Through this process, we have simplified the characteristics of the space and the positives and negatives accordingly. We have grasped the relationship between spatial space, sculptural space, architectural space, and environmental space.. Research on qualitative topics such as the characteristics of space can not completely exclude the subjectivity of the researcher in terms of its characteristics, but such research can provide a rationale for interpreting and evaluating the gardens that depend on the individual's taste.. It can also contribute to the development of the field by providing reference materials for garden designs that rely on designer intuition, or by providing a logical basis for design.
